In my opinion it’s worth travelling further from the city to go to one of the other Ikeas. This one is suuuuuper crowded, as all of them are, yet this one is harder to maneuver with a shopping cart, as it is not a full sized Ikea. It’s 3 floors so if you do need a cart (or have a stroller or mobility device or can’t climb stairs for whatever reason) there is only one elevator that I saw and it’s pretty slow. If you must go I recommend checking online to make sure the items you want are available first since they sell less products than a regular Ikea. This store is cashless, apparently, as I overheard another customer getting upset about it when I was checking out. So if you somehow don’t have a debit/credit card in this day and age then it might be good to know. I did manage to find all my items however, so my trip was a success overall, I’d just rather spend some extra time to go to North York or Vaughan instead to avoid the headache of navigating this place again.
Almost like Pacific mall, Aura I find better because it's not well-known to the people of Toronto. What's inside: Bed Bath & Beyond (T.O MAPLE LEAF SECTION); Marshalls (Great Duvets and matching attire's); Crunch Fitness (amazing helpful people here) and basement level-- Don't try buying any shoes their (not authentic) However, they do have great prices for their Nail Salons (ladies $25 for acrylic nail etc) and lastly Aura provides a Food court with variety of delicious foods ranging from Asian recipes to nothing else really... Aura will eventually improve with better retail shops, different tasty meals and also a feeling that makes you want more but Aura has lots of potential! I will visit another year to describe my visit. Thanks and I recommend Aura condominium/centre to anyone who has a hobby for accessories.
Located in the heart of downtown, this shopping destination has become a go-to spot for me. With an impressive mix of popular retailers, including IKEA, Marshalls, and Homesense, it offers a diverse range of products to suit any style or budget. I love the convenience of being able to shop for home decor, furniture, and clothing all in one place. The well-curated displays and extensive inventory make it easy to find exactly what I need, whether I'm looking to update my living room or refresh my wardrobe. Furthermore, the staff is always friendly and helpful, providing exceptional customer service. Shopping here is a truly enjoyable experience, and I always leave feeling satisfied with my purchases. I highly recommend this destination for anyone in search of a one-stop-shop for all their shopping needs
Several years ago I visited Vietnam. There I had the best street soup I've ever tasted. I've searched high and low for something similar in Asian restaurants in cities all over the world - but always left disappointed. Until today.... in the most unlikely location - an obscure little takeaway stall in the food concourse in Aura, just below IKEA. The concourse looks dull and uninviting, but there in the corner is "Sushi BBbop". Their dumpling soup is to die for. Forget about IKEA meatballs. Get yourself some BBbob dumplings and you'll be all set for the -15C temperature outside!
Such a weird shopping center. The floors from ground level to 4th are gorgeous and filled with large and reputable businesses. The basement is really sad and many rental spaces are empty. It’s random small businesses that don’t get any customers. I will never understand why anyone would invest so much into starting a business in a dead mall with almost no foot traffic. Maybe there a few gems down there but the rest are unsuccessful dreams. The only good part is it connects to the subway and path underground.
The security guards need to learn compassion and common sense. I finished shopping at IKEA with a bag full of goods that can’t get wet and so was waiting for the rain to stop. I am still recovering from surgery and standing for a long period can be extremely uncomfortable, so I was sitting on a ledge, out of the way. Nevertheless, the security guard took it upon himself to tell me to stand or go downstairs. Never once asked me if I was okay or in need. This does not reflect well on this place.
This is actually a very nice little shopping area. It must be new since I don't remember it here before, but the quality of products is high and the cleanliness, staff and location were great. Was quite a decent size Marshall's and Home sense. Definitely worth it to stop in and take a look. Beauty IKEA as well. Will definitely be back in the future. 5/5. Not a lot going on here post lockdown but the food court has some quick lunch spots. Not exactly the place you'd go on a weekend to try and find things. Doesn't have a lot of places open at any given time so it's hard to justify exploring it on a regular weekday either. Good thing is that it's connected to the subway station.
This not yet a place which is fully occupied. Upstairs there are decent and very good department stores. But this mall is not on the radar yet as it doesn't follow The Path. It's not connected yet. Although I think you may be able to get there through College Park soon. There are some places to eat at a food court.
It's sad how this place is so deserted. Most of the shops were closed on the weekends, with plenty of vacancies. There were only a few food stalls and hobby shops open in the basement. This would be a prime location for a major retailer to take over the entire basement area.
Very empty mall. Not much around. Half the food court is operating. Mostly just hair and nails salons with some convenience stores. Definitely not a place to go to if you are walking by. If you live in the building a convenient place to grab some odds and ends.
Mostly deserted. One or two places available for food. Kind of dreary. Even the couple of places open seem disinterested , probably due to very little business. The whole lower section joined to the foodcourt seems very lacking in customers.
Its not a very well planned out mall and has a strange variety of stores that are scattered from.one end to the other with most of the store sitting vacant bearing for lease signs . There are 2 maybe 3 hairdressers. A couple of cell phone
Marshall, Home sense , Bed bath & Beyond..and may be some more department stores are here. I was in Marshall & home sense . I liked the home part a lot. But be very cautious ⚠️ about their clothing section as you might buy a torn, holed.
Best store is Marshalls. Funny that it's a nicer shopping environment than Winners which is basically next door on College street. Layout and merchandising is cleaner and better organized but there are a few things to improve.
Trip to the one and only downtown IKEA. Of course it's small compared to the other two, but I got what I needed and only got lost about 5 times. Plus I was able to navigate my scooter between the aisles with relative ease
Am here for IKEA and The Alley most of the time... Recently witness a drunk/homeless kicking the tempered glass by the escalator on IKEA's floor... Damn that glass held up to those serious kicks... #muchsafety
It's a nice mall but all the shops are dwindling like either closed or limited hours or no shops at all. There is a few hidden gems. There's some hair cuts and the food court has good food there.
Not worth going in. Waste of time, waste of money! Highly priced Low grade products in Ikea, not well organized, smell of burned oil everywhere, 2 stars only for Smily hard working personnel!
Love the mini IKEA here. You get all your basics, plus you can have good food or grab a good espresso. Honestly, espresso here in IKEA is better than starbucks. Their cinnamon rolls as well.
Improper planning and substandard elevators. The space utilization is extremely poor with misguided connections. After IKEA completing one year, it's even Messier than before... …
Ikea and Marshall are the only places keeping this “mall” alive. The creepy basement, with no windows and mostly vacant stores, gives an eerie vibe and haunting aura to visitors.
The security guard told me I can’t roll my scooter through on my way to the basement shopping area so I took my business elsewhere. I guess they have too many customers.
Visited the new DT IKEA, layout was great. This location is credit/debit sales only no cash payments at checkout. Check out has few kiosks but there is dedicated staff
Decent size Marshall's and Home sense. IKEA is new add on. Must visit ifyou are setting up home. Location is five star. Been here countless times no complaints.
Went to Marshall and BMO ATM in this place. Women's Rest room at the ground floor was locked. There was no reason while it was locked while the male was open
AURA downstairs is a maze difficult to navigate. It is unfortunate that builder constructed a piece of Lego that is not practical
I really miss Bed Bath and Beyond. It had a great selection of household items for condo, dwellers living in the downtown core.
Excellent location for shopping! The small shops on the lower level carry very unique, hard to find useful items and gifts.
Awesome shopping experience at Aura. I really enjoyed the Marshall's location there and it's spaciousness
Very nice shopping Mall with IKEA, right in the center of the city and close to everything.
grand opening of Ikea today it was fantastic and I'm so so happy we've got one downtown
Not many shops open. Plenty of hair stylists and nail salons. Small food court.
Went to IKEA. Location is central to downtown. Easier to get to than Etobicoke
Has many small shops and a IKEA pickup point too. Not many people go there.
Slowly opening its stores. Korean restaurant there is great comfort food
IKEA - always an interesting experience - fun store
Good shopping mall but many spaces empty/for lease
Amazing! I can find everything that you need!
V nice nice IKEA center
