Firstly, I'm guessing that the negative reviewers have never tried to get a passport the direct way. I have gotten passports for myself and my child and comparably with the help of Passport Express it was exceedingly faster and easier to do. They answered some lingering questions I had over the phone before I paid a penny so I could be prepared with the right documents to bring which really gave me immediate peace of mind. Even though the office is tiny, everyone was polite and professional and the renewal came as promised if not 1-2 days sooner which I was glad about because a foreign government was waiting on this information. The only thing I wish they would add would be offering (even for an extra charge) to scan this for me. I needed every page scanned per the requirements of the government. They would not accept simply photos. I asked if someone could help me with this and that I was willing to pay extra and they said they did not do this. I don't have a scanner so I tried with a phone app that kept cutting the corners and then Kinko's which was time consuming but it finally worked. I would have preferred since they have the equipment there to just charge me a fee and make a few more dollars from me by getting it done. Regardless of this piece though, I am pleased with their service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again, if needed.

UPD: changed the rating from 1 to 5 stars. They made me a refund, although that was not the purpose of my review. I’m not sure if last time back in May I was charged less for 4 photos, but I got 4 for half the price I paid in August. I’m glad the owners reacted to my review and resolved the issue. As mentioned before, the service was good. The service is what it’s supposed to be. I’m giving one star for the price. The time difference between my two visits is 3 months. Same service - 4 passport/visa photos. Price increase is 100%. I didn’t check the price before my second visit expecting something similar to price I paid last time. They charged $43 for 10 min of work. That’s $258/h. Not a bad hourly rate, right? I had to pay due to urgency, but I won’t use their services again.

I’ve never been so happy to hand over my money so quickly…but, Austin Passport Express was WORTH EVERY PENNY! My boyfriend planned a trip for us to Punta Cana, without realizing my passport was long expired. Frantically, I searched for a way to expedite the process of getting a new passport. Much better than IdentoGO! This office was kind, helpful, and quick. I booked last minute fingerprinting here after a horrible appointment at Austin’s other fingerprinter. Unlike the other place, Austin Passport Express offers ink-on-card fingerprinting which is required for many federal employment background checks. I assumed that the other place would have ink fingerprinting since they advertised their federal services, but that was a mistake. However, APE was able to book me and take my fingerprints on the same day. The staff really took care of me too, and they are so much more friendly.

This team is reliable, fast, professional and ON IT! I moved out of Texas and still use them for my passport needs. They’re quick to respond to email and phone. My most recent experience with them involved an unfortunate turn of events thanks to UPS, no fault of theirs, and so I was forced to take my business via the US Gov. Even then, Edgar stuck with me and helped guide me through that process. He truly went above and beyond and I’m so grateful! Lesson learned: Don’t use UPS to mail anything sensitive; opt for [trackable] FedEx or DHL! You’ll be in good hands with Austin Passport Express.

Went here for Australian passport photos, but there was some confusion and I ended up getting fingerprints done instead. It turns out they don't do Australian passports anymore, but we didn't realize there had been a miscommunication until after I'd already been fingerprinted and paid. They were so nice about it though and refunded me immediately without me even asking and told me where I could go for the photos. The fingerprinting experience was great too, very professional and great customer service! I'll definitely be back for my US passport.

Outstanding service! The team there is super helpful, they have several PC's to work at and will guide you through the on-line forms from the State Department. They also take the pictures right there. I made an appointment the week before and everything was prompt and very well organized when I arrived. I will never apply for a passport on my own again. The cost of their services is worth the $$ and knowing everything is fill out properly based on their extensive experience. Thanks a lot!!!

I was getting a new passport and had absolutely no idea how to get everything done. Went to Austin Passport Express and they were incredibly efficient. Process was completely painless and quick, customer service was 10/10. If I had any questions, they were quick with a detailed answer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Also, my passport is coming in almost 3 weeks ahead of the expected time! Best place to go to for if your looking to get passport necessities done quickly.

We went to them with 2 weeks to spare before an international vacation hoping for a miracle. At best, Houston will process your expedited application within 4-6 weeks. Edgardo was very confident that he could get us our sons passport back in 7 business days. It arrived just in time for our flight. I was cautiously optimistic about the claim, but they delivered big time!! Can’t say enough about their ability to courier last second passports. 10/10.

I just got my naturalization cert. last Friday and needed some information to expedite getting a passport. After calling around a few places this company definitely gave me a ton of information and clarified my process for me. The Gentlemen I spoke to even gave me an option not to use them to save some money. I would definitely recommend using this company and will keep them in mind to use them in the future if I need an expedited passport!!

I have to say that this local business is outstanding. Each of the people there are engaged, leaned-in, and so amazingly helpful. While they surely do passport photos, they are able to help with a range of services. They are able to meet the specs and requirements of various government agencies around the globe. Will definitely head back there when more verification/identification work is needed.

Can't say enough positive things!!! Have used them repeatedly for 25+ years. China visa was rejected by embassy for no reason 12 days before departure. Appointments for visas are 2-3 weeks out. We were dismayed and also looking at expensive cancellation fees. Asa with Passport Express somehow worked miracles and we received the resubmitted visa in one week. DON"T GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

OK, I'm impressed now! They said it would come on the 2nd week of July but I received my new passport on June 27th. I paid like $323 if I remember well but that includes tax and some optional shipping. Very quick service, even with the high volume of people in their small office. It's good to have an appointment, they even saved me a parking spot. Very highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Austin Passport Express enough. The team is competent, friendly and efficient, which holds even more weight when dealing with something as important as my passport! The pricing is fair for the excellent service provided. Even if I didn’t need an expedited passport renewal, I would still hire them to manage a standard renewal for peace of mind.

I was in a panic and needed to renew my passport. Was blown away at the top notch customer service, professionalism, kindness and confidence. I used this place 10 years ago. Went perfectly. I returned recently to renew my passport and was in and out in a jiffy! But the next day I had a personal issue where I needed my passport. I called and they held onto it for me. Then sent it off when I was ready. I now have my new passport with no hassle. Highly recommend!

I used fingerprint and photo services, they were super quick. Staff was very helpful and amazing, went an extra mile to meet our custom photo requirements. They were extra cautious about masks, distance and touched surfaces, very much needed in this situation. Will definitely use their sevice again.

What a terrific business! We all know that renewing passports or getting one for the first time is a massive pain. Not only was the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, but I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I highly recommend this place!

Made an appointment. They never reached out to tell me what documents I would need to bring in. I came all the way to their office for them to tell me that I did not qualify for renewal and they would not help me. What a racket!
