A big shout out to the APD for their prompt attention, professionalism, and very kind manner last night. My husband and I (visiting from out of state) parked in the Austin Community College parking garage. After a fabulous dinner at ALC Steakhouse, we walked back to the parking garage only to find all the gates and doors locked! I called 911, and two officers arrived within minutes of my call. They greeted my husband and me with genuine concern and assured us we would have our car. They contacted the ACC Police who also were there within minutes. The very personable ACC officer unlocked the door and opened the garage. All three officers were so polite, caring and helpful. My husband and I appreciate the help so much.

Call First distance for 3 hours on 7/29/17 With log belligerent drunken patrons that did not want to leave venue on East Riverside Drive and got no response or help and and patrons very heavily intoxicated ended up trying to drive home swerving all over the road. Good job Austin PD for your lousy work if you're lucky maybe someone will get hit by drunk driver tonight due to your negligence

Thank you to the Austin Police Department for helping me on Saturday, July 28. I was stranded on IH35 due to running out of gas. The HERO operation and the police were very helpful and getting back on the road. The location was on 35 South at 2222. Thanks again.

That sucks what that officer did to that dog! Now it seems our pets are not safe even in our own homes!!!! I hope that officer faces consequences for his cowardly actions!!!!
