Another fantastic experience with ASH. They are our go to place for all shoe and leather related repairs and "clean-up". The not old but tired black boots I dropped off last week are unrecognizable. So worth the money spent and my husband doesn't need to replace them. Thanks again for your continued service over many, MANY years.

I took a very worn and tattered pair of men’s boots to Austin Shoe Hospital. I wasn’t sure there was any hope for them, but Austin Shoe Hospital worked their magic and the boots look brand new! My guy was more than pleased with the results and we’ve already dropped another pair off to be repaired. Highly recommend!

This wasn't the first time we have taken in a pair of shoes to be repaired but this is our first time reviewing. My husband has had a couple of pairs of Red Wings resoled and I just had a pair of dearly loved booties resoled and cleaned; they look brand new. We are repeat customers and will continue to be.

I have had Tecovas for one year and already wore holes in the original soles. ASH suggested rubber resoles and they got them back to me in a reasonable amount of time during the holiday rush. Newly polished and feeling great! I appreciate their service and quality. It's like I having new boots again!

These guys were so amazing to work with. I brought them several pairs of shoes to work on. Very knowledgeable, very friendly and performed the service perfectly and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Austin Shoe Hospital to anyone needing shoe or leather work and repairs.

I just got a Birkenstock sole re-glued and I really appreciated the friendly customer service. It's rare these days to find such genuine folks doing good work with a smile and a kind word. I'm happy Austin Shoe Hospital is in my neighborhood :-)

Really nice staff but the work seems to be below average. I had some wedges repaired and today was the first day I pulled them out to wear them and the glued repair is coming apart after 5 hours of wear. I probably could have spent that $40

Please do not send expensive, pristine white shoes here. I brought my wedding shoes for shoe padding services. When I send the shoes, ask them to be careful that they are brand new and very white, and kindly ensure that they are not dirtied

Horrible! All three of the shoes I left here for repair were very poorly repaired: sloppy glue, all over the shoe, wrong length elastic so that shoe flopped around when I wore it, gash in the sidewall of the new sole they just put on on one

Made my boots look brand new!! Excellent work on the re-sole. Nice clean stitching, couldn't be more pleased! Super friendly and very quick turn around. So good I took my second pair in! Get the clean and conditioning it's worth every penny!

I took a boot in for a heel repair only. The boot was returned to me damaged above the area where the work was to be done. "Joe" was quite rude to me when I brought the issue to his attention. He hurried me out of the store, saying he would

I recently entrusted my favorite pair of boots to The Shoe Doctor for restoration, and I am beyond thrilled with the results. The transformation is nothing short of remarkable – my boots look as good as new! The quality of the work done by

DO NOT USE this business!! My daughter took an expensive pair of shoes there to have repaired in plenty of time before a once in a lifetime trip to Paris. Shoes were not ready then lost for another 5 weeks! She kept getting the run around,

UPDATE: I received an email that my purse is finally ready for pickup. I drive all the way to the store, and it's in the exact same condition as I dropped it off along with a $70 bill. I asked the guy what did they do to actually clean it,

Hands down the best in town! They can fix anything I bring in: new soles, leather purse straps, even that time I messed up my brand new shoes with bad shoe protector spray and they re-dyed the leather so they look good as new. I trust them

This store is located on Burnet Road. I am only putting one star because that is the lowest I can put. Took my backpack in to be repaired where it would be able to close and I would be able to use it for my laptop, but when I picked it up

I don’t write reviews, but I am writing this for my other fellow Austinites so they don’t get bait-and-switched like I did. I brought my vintage Wrangler dress western boots in to get new bottoms to match how they originally were. I paid

Do these look clean to you? Because they are still covered in dirt and mud. I stepped in mud and turned them over to Austin Shoe Hospital like I’ve done in the past with boots. They can clean boots, but apparently not sneakers. $43 for a

Took an old leather briefcase in to have a couple buckles/latches replaced. And a new shoulder strap. It's not always easy to match up leathers, but especially ones that are 20 yrs old...they did a great job matching (not exact but close

I had oil stain my late grandmother’s vintage coach bag and I was devastated. Oil seeped through the front pocket all the way to the interior of the bag and I wasn’t sure how I’d be able to fix it. Austin Shoe Hospital did an amazing job

  • Danielle Gomez

I took the boots seen below to have the soles and the straps up top repaired. While discussing the work the employee told me he could "Completely refurbish them, make them look like new for $175." My husband went to pick them up and for

  • John

Horrible!! They guy who helped me was nice. Said they might not be able to get the stain out of my suede boot, but said they would try and can only make it better. I wanted to leave just the one with the stain, but he said they would

This was hands downs the worst customer service experience I've ever had. If you read no further, just know to never take your shoes to this company. Unless of course you like having to call repeatedly to get your lost shoes back...

  • Phyllis King

Well....YOU did a great job but the end result does not work so well. The Velcro is so stiff it will not lay down and stick to the fabric, so the ends are constantly sticking out, catching on velcro from the other leg, or anything

  • Amarige Azzam

I took my LV vintage bag to have the buckle repaired and they made it look amazing. I was worried I may never be able to use my fave little bag again, but it looks amazing. Definitely recommend & will use them again

  • Dottie Gattilia

OMG- amazing repair of my favorite large purse I always use as my carry on when I fly. Unbelievable results with matching the color of the purse, the stitching is impeccable! So so happy I brought it there.

  • Jon George

ASH did an amazing job resoling my boots for about the third time. Went with rubber this time and they look like leather. Great service and value.

  • Clara Swearingin

Beautifully restored my Clark flats, a shoe I can no longer buy. The shoes look new. Not inexpensive, but high quality work.

  • David Young

This cobbler has been serving Austin with his expertise for years, truly a top-notch experience.
