I only got as far as the entrance to this office when the guy with glasses who’s always there barked at me “no dogs allowed”, referring to my sleeping 4 month old toy poodle, encased in a carry-sack. She can’t/won’t get down and wouldn’t make the slightest noise. I hadn’t seen the “no dog” sign to be honest, but he was unreasonably hostile! A customer offered to help me…. Meanwhile there is actually a window and door access that this rude guy could have served me at rather than merely dismissing me and suggesting that I tie my pup outside. Eventually he came out, barked that there was a fee for him to cite the ID I had, and then did his job, again barking at me “I need to see the original document”! I didn’t want to startle my pup so I remained silent, otherwise I would have dealt with him in the same manner as he was treating me!! I will never use this post office again, he’s a disgrace!

This in my local Post Office and I won’t be going back there again! The two guys that work there are rude, inflexible and not helpful at all! I tried to send a parcel with a pre paid express post label that was printed in my office that allows up to 22kg be sent, I printed the package weight of 500g on the label and it actually weighed 502g and they would not except this urgent life saving medical device to be sent! I asked for a solution and if we could reprint the label and both guys just looked at each other and said “NO just reject it!!! Then handed it back to me and said, Next customer” I took the package to the Corporate owned Australia Post Office in the area and it was not an issue of the slight overweight and they accepted it straight away and sent it without any drama!

This morning I had the worst parcel collect experience in Ascot LPO. While he said they have 60 parcels every day to handle with an attitude and was not happy to look up my parcel with my ID, I'm shocked. The thing that I didn't say it was I'm a LPO owner myself with a shop that handled 200+ parcels every day. We would never put up an attitude to a customer who have provided photo ID to collect parcel in the first instant. During the conversations, I found the operators were lack of knowledge of the system and lack of customer service skills. As a local residents of the area and also working in the Auspost system, this is upsetting.

Lots of issues with the middle aged man who is always at counter at ascot post office (some speculate he is the owner). I work as on a community forum which deals with local issues and have been receiving complaints about him constantly abusing females. Australia post needs to change this as people don’t have other options in the area and are forced to deal with this grub.

The best customer service in any post office in Brisbane. The staff are always fabulous and go out of their way to find you the best and the cheapest way to get your parcel to its destination. You are always met with a smile and they address their customers by name. I don't go anywhere else!

I had a bulk parcel to return to the seller and had no idea how to package it back up. Jane and John were kind enough to help me do so even when it wasn’t their responsibility to. They made sure it was packaged and taped properly too. A small act, but much appreciated!

Rude, complacent, zero care, and unhelpful. I have had several issues with this post office over five months. I strongly recommend trying another post office for a PO Box, or any other services in the hope that they care about their customers and business.

Had a wonderful experience in this post office, they were always smiling and greeting customer by their names. I had to send several parcels overseas and they explained everything to me and helped me with all the papers I had to fill. Would recommend 100%

I am a postie and visit Ascot LPO daily to deliver carded parcels to them... now I've been a regular in this capacity at a lot of post offices. I can say without reservation that the staff at Ascot rate as the nicest LPO staff that I've ever encountered.

It is soo nice to be able to walk into this post office where they know your name! Always very helpful and go above and beyond customer service! I am sure the people of Ascot would agree that this post office is like being in a large family.

Extremely rude and passive aggressive staff. Larger older woman clearly hates her work. The younger fellow was watching and looked at me rather apologetically but clearly she needs customer service classes. Go elsewhere.

My wife posted a parcel for me on Saturday morning and came back to the car and said "That was the friendliest customer service I have ever received in a Post Office". Made her day.

The worst post office I have ever been to. The older male owner is rude, confrontational and aggressive. I am shocked that he is allowed to own/operate a business.

Staff member who served me was friendly, polite and answered my questions honestly. Being only a small post office I felt welcomed on arrival and upon departure.
