Well, This is a Aus post branch you will definitely want to see its google reviews after dealing with its staff, and you realised you’re not alone from previous comments. This was the 1st time parcel picking up in this branch for my partner as she is in business trip. Me and my partner had picked up each other’s parcels many many times in countless post offices. Although I showed them my ID and my partner’s ID (same address), they insisted that my partner has to pick it up herself. I told them we can pick parcels for each other in other branches, and they told me different areas got different rules. Then the other staff grabbed the parcel and put it on the counter and said: you can pick this up unless you ask your partner signed the authorisation form because many students are sharing the house rights??? I told them I am not student and parcels usually go Mount Waverley branch not here. They told me it doesn’t matter as the driver chose to drop here… What I don’t understand was they just laughed away every time when I talking about my previous NORMAL experiences like it is funny and I am rookie for parcel picking up. Arrogant? I am not sure whether AUS post customer support team will ever take a look here. But now I know this is a SPECIAL branch with special staff and rules. As the result, I spent $13 for parking and had a lunch in the beautiful campus and the parcel will probably be sent back to the sender.

I had a few parcels to process at this post office. I started by picking up the packages from a tracking number, to which things went okay. There was a second item there, not on the same tracking number that they brought out which was unexpected. When proceeding to then return a different item from online shopping, the processes in this store were different to any other Australia post i've been to. First, they gave me a pen and said 'black out the old details' to which scribbling on the barcodes, names etc wasn't enough. There was some tape there, however they wouldn't let me place a strip on the packaging to seal the item. I understand that this post office may be independent and doesn't make money on returns. However if customer service levels are at abysmal levels, showing unwillingness to help with any business that prompting someone to leave a bad review, then i believe this branch needs to be re-trained in how to assist and basic customer service. It should never be the customers fault that your business offerings don't make as much profit as others.

Absolutely useless, apparently only one of the employees could use the Western Union so i had to wait 25 mins for her to finish with another customer. This is fine but the lady saw me there with the Western Union form in my hand and then told me she couldn't do it without any explanation, and to just ring WU?!?!?!?!?. To make matters worse, i then came back and sent some stuff with express post (had to wait for her to finish her personal conversation), she told me to leave it on the bench with her and she'll sort it, well its been a week and the parcel still hasn't been delivered and as i lost tracking number i have no idea if that useless employee even sent it. Probably only hired because they spoke Chinese. Never use this Post Office!!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with AusPost Monash recently. I encountered two staff members who were incredibly rude and arrogant. They showed no interest in helping me whatsoever and seemed to enjoy making things difficult for me. Their behavior was completely unacceptable and left me feeling frustrated and upset. I expect better service from a company like AusPost, and it's a shame that these two individuals let the whole organization down. I hope that AusPost will take action to ensure that all of their staff are trained in customer service and that incidents like this do not happen again in the future. I would caution anyone considering using AusPost to be aware of the potential for rude and unhelpful staff members.

Absolutely atrocious experience. 'Toan', the proprietor, apparently couldn't read the simple instructions on an official Australia Post prepaid parcel and refused to take my parcel. Having done this, he then proceeded to place me in line, serve customers behind me, and whilst doing so bloviate at length - loudly so that all the store could hear - about how much authority he has and how he could give me $1 of credit if he wanted to do so. He then told me to call Australia Post's customer service number if i wanted to, which I did. I was promptly told that my parcel was indeed prepaid and should have been taken by Toan per the parcel's instructions. Without question the worst customer service experience I've had in my life.

Come to collect a parcel on lunchtime, bring my business card and I.d in order to collect it. The manager who was serve me was so rude, he throw my business card on a side and said this is not an I.d. Told him before I come in I already called the head office explaining that my name is on the parcel is different, the head office lady said bring my I.d and something with my other name on it, to proof the parcel is mine. He then bring my parcel over and said next time if I come in with my business card or anything to do with parcel collection, he will return the parcel to sender no matter what. I thanks him for the service and said don’t worry from now on I use the parcel locker at uni or post office near my house.

Extremely rude and curt male staff member- made me feel like I was wasting his time, even though I was merely asking a very standard question regarding pricing for a certain item size. Could Aus Post HQ please take these reviews on board? If Monash University is a world-class university, then at the very least, they should ensure proprietors / managers of this branch can adopt at least some friendly customer service to this outlet. I'd rate it 0 out of 5 stars but it seems I have to give it a minimum of 1 star on this platform. I am deliberately avoiding this post office from now on. Head to the Mt Waverley post office instead- much friendlier and helpful staff there, hands down.

In my 6 years at the university, the manager Toan is still as rude, arrogant and belittling as ever - dont expect him to change anytime soon. I usually dealt with other younger staff who were VERY friendly, I had to post items but did not have tape to stick the labels and they would happily help me out - on the other hand the manager will make you feel like you are wasting his time. "I don't have time to stick your label on the package" he yelled at the basically empty LPO. My friends also had similar experiences where he yelled at them when they asked questions - this guy needs anger management classes.

Worst post office in Melbourne, mainly due to the two female staff members on duty. Their unfriendly and unhelpful attitude made for a frustrating experience. I understand that everyone can have off days, but basic professionalism and courtesy should be a given in customer service. I won't go into every detail, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. I strongly advise avoiding this branch as these employees seem ill-suited for the industry, which is a shame considering the generally good service at other postal branches. Please fix your staff!!!

When I came to ask for help on applying for my WWCC (Working With Children Check), the manager (whose name I believed is Toan) was not trying to be helpful in any way and talked very rudely and irresponsibly. I saw I’m not the only one who experienced this as the customer next in-line had the same problem with him. Please do something about this as this is still continuing from all the reviews I’ve seen and it’s such a shame as the other staffs were friendly and actually helpful.

People who work in this post are extremely rude. I sent a package the other day and it was wrapped in plastic. Apparently, it should not be in plastic. I handed to cashier and she did not know. When her manager came and talked in a very rude way to me that I should change it. I did not mind to change it but he needed to talk to me nicely rather than talk in loud voice. Australia Post should take action to their staff at this university. Rude rude people.

After reading the reviews I was really hesitant to even try to post from here, however I was greeted with friendly staff at the counter (a young guy and girl). I was served by the young guy who was very cheerful and helpful, offering different options based on my needs (posting a couple of different parcels by different means). He wasn't wearing a name tag, but i wish to thank him! Hopefully this is a consistent positive change for the Monash PO!

Rude and arrogant staff. They take advantage of the fact that the shop is inside the University, leaving it as the only option for most students who can not travel. Auspost as an organisation should really take into consideration the behaviour of staff at this branch as it portrays a bad image for the organisation in general because they are unfriendly, unwelcoming and generally sound rude!

Absolutely useless with my passport application - asked me to come back several times because the manager was never in to process it; so I got tired to lose time on my work hours and went to another post office, who rejected the ID photos taken by Monash post office because they are too small! Yes, too small: they are not even able to take photos that comply with AU passport guidelines!!!

The manager of the store is very rude, accusatory, unhelpful, sarcastic, smug and mean. He is argumentative when things do not go his way and when issues arise that confuse him and will blame the customer. He thinks he knows too much when actually he does not know. Made the mistake of letting him talk again only to hear bad things come out of his mouth. He is not one to listen to again.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Toan is a smug arse who has no respect. Instead of explaining the situation caused by the sender's fault, he says "its returned to sender". When I asked about why it was the case, given that I received an email 3 minutes ago saying that it was ready for collection at the post office, the response I got was "it was returned, already picked up, it's gone now".

The staff is very rude and doesn't know how to behave with customers. I am having the same experience for the second time. I don't know why there is no action taken on them based on all the bad reviews. (Update-Beware of the manager here. He is so arrogant and if you questions him your courier or post won't be delivered. Make sure to get a tracking number if you mess with him)

I'm pretty sure Toan derives pleasure out of treating people horribly; every single interaction I've had with him (and certain other staff) has been condescending and rude, to the point where I now know his name because he so consistently delivers piss-poor service. The Auspost HR team need to take a look at who they've hired at this branch.

The manager is absolutely rude! Just doesn't know how to talk to customers. Threw the scissors at me to cut and paste an invoice. Had to send an amazon return parcel, didn't help with anything. I doubt if I had to actually pay for the return. The ridiculous treatment doesn't even deserve a star. The younger staff seemed to be doing fine.

I needed to submit a passport renewal application but was hesitant to do it here given its negative reviews. I bit the bullet and decided to check it and am glad I did. They knew exactly what to do, could do it efficiently, and even called my phone when they found an error I made on my application so that I could fix it. Great service.

Rude staff. The lady staff was talking to the manager and completely ignored me trying to ask some directions to Australia post lockers. Both of them seemed very annoyed to give any information. I was planning to buy some express post envelopes but was kind of put off by their altitude so went to another Australia post to buy them.

I am registered with Aus Post and yet he returns parcels to sender and does not explain policy...he says it is not his job to explain anything to customers. Will not come here again. Was rudely told by a staff member that wasn't even serving me that I was wasting their time after I had a payment mix up that took 5 mins, at most 10, to clear up outside the store. The store was empty to begin with as well, there was no one in line after me. Would not recommend.

Makes you pay for a certified document, $1 per page, other places (excluding post offices) provide this serivce for free. They also reject any passport quality photo for ID that isn't their photo making you pay $12 for their inferior photos.

Terrible. Parcel left here for me to collect. No parking on campus that has more than a 2 min allowance. 300m walk with a 30kg large box. Pick up your game Australia Post. You have private couriers that run rings around you!
