Worst experience possible! LPO changed their timetable which was not reflected on the card and only opened during week days 9-5. I had to take half a day off work during the week to collect the parcel. The lady working at LPO couldn’t even find the right package and clearly had no idea what to do. She didn’t even read that there were two boxes noted and registered under the tracking number. I had to return back to the post office when I realised half my order was missing. Upon my return, the lady stood there staring at me for 5 minutes while her co-worker counted cash in the till. I had to ask for her attention twice and she seemed unsure why I had returned and wanted to ignore me. When I explained the situation, her co-worker insisted that there was only one box, that any secondary parcels will have a seperate tracking number. The company that I made the purchase from reconfirmed this to be false, that the first few digits (as written on the parcel collection card) is the same. LPO was absolutely useless and rude. I had to point out that my second parcel was right behind the counter, which clearly had my name on it in big bold black permanent marker. At that point, the girl tried to convince me that it’s parcel click and collect, until she scanned the box and realized she was wrong the whole time. Absolute waste of time and completely incompetent.

I missed a Sunday morning package delivery and was left a barely legible next day Collection card for the Syndal LPO (which isn’t my local). I went to the Syndal LPO the next day and was told the package hadn’t arrived yet. After waiting several days with no online updates, I found the a Syndal LPO had no way of contact by phone and raised a customer complaint. This yielded no results after several days. Over a week after the attempted delivery and pickup, I asked my local Glen Waverley LPO whether they could check on my package. They found in employee accessible system that my package had been delivered to the Syndal LPO one hour after I attempted pickup, but the customer facing system had not been updated. Upon picking up my package from Syndal, the employee blamed the driver for not scanning and handing over properly and said a physical note had been sent to me as the package had been there over a week. All up, it took a month for me to get my package, which was from a major Australian retailer. I received packages from overseas faster than this, during the same period. I’m unsure how much the Syndal LPO is to blame for this very poor experience, but am very disappointed with the Aus Post system.

Dear all , This is the worst experiences I ever had with post office . I have been waiting for a package for a while and only received one email at the time package dispatched after 3 weeks in transitions , this item landed at Syndal LPO for collections, within 3 working hours , this item was sent back to original sender . I checked the policy on post office web site , the correct process is the package need to be in post office for 5 business days waiting for collection. unfortunately , I only got couple of hours and have to be lucky check the status on the only one email I received for this item. The lady works in this post office is very rude - she only blame the driver ! She did not follow the correct process , and she only blame others ! She is not even listen to her customer and understand the topic and try to make it correct . It is a horrible experiences. I do not think this post office is going to make any changes . Good luck with local residents !

I got a card to collect a package two days ago and when I went today morning I was told it has been send back to sender who is in China as it was over 10 business day! They advised to call 131318 with tracking number. When I did officer told item is dispatched yesterday (1 March) and they cannot do anything but I have to inform sender in China!! I did and then around 11 I got another card from post office urgent notice advising come and collect the item on 27 Feb. and it was dated 28 Feb!! Aus post need to come with better customer service please.

Tried to post a parcel with printed label via myPost business. They told me that the label was declared the weight wrong, but i told him that this is still within the range. And they still refuse to post it and ask me to paid 34 to post it. Uneducated staff and only ask for money. Did AusPost even trained these guys? Or they are just ignore the guideline and just ask for more money. Never go to this post office again. Wasting my time. Hopefully, bad review could makes AusPost keep up and aware.

I've used Syndal LPO for more then 10 years. The new owners or whatever they may be are unprofessional, unprepared, impolite, unhelpful. The recent reviews are consistent because this new owners or staff are equally consistent with their behaviour. It is sad but I don't think they are there to provide a service and make a living out of it. They bought our leased the LPO simply to make money. There is literally NO costumer service. A serious contrast to the previous owners.

I’m a little surprised by the negative reviews. I’ve started using this post office because my local is unreliable. Syndal has proved to be so much better. The lady that works there is so sweet and friendly. Have had no issues with sending packages through this post office and actually travel 10 mins to get there because it’s so much better than others

Poor customer service. I was expecting a parcel and the status was never reflecting correctly on the tracking log. I was not notified that the parcel is ready for collection at the post office. I had to make random visits to check if the item has been received at the post office. I found the staff unfriendly and not willing to help with queries.

At home but the postman just left a notify card and ask for pick it from syndal post after 3pm!wait for long q and just 1 staff!The staff is very helpful,but feeling tired for this experience!!!! For AU POST : If u don’t like it ,pls. don’t do it!

Australia Post courier doesn't knock on your door, just drops off a 'you have a package' card. Card indicates pickup available on Saturday. Come Saturday the LPO is closed with a sign indicating the new hours have been in effect for 6 weeks.

Amazing post office! I go out of my way to come to this post office & avoid my local (which is lacking in customer care) as the service is SO much better & it rarely gets busy! Forget the cranky others! Go to Syndal!

Great place to go while the australia post store in the glen shopping centre undergoes renovations. The store in the glen shopping centre is just a tiny pop up store at the moment.
