Unfortunately there is no zero rating option. In regards to the self service stations, there is either no one there and you have to wait for someone to realise that it's flashing red and assistance is required or you have someone looking over your shoulder pressing the buttons for you when you did not request assistance. One issue that I had today was a large letter that I wanted to send, I checked it was able to fit through the slot and it did all the way through. But the Australian post staff cancelled it saying that it doesn't fit and i have to send it as a parcel. Apparently it need to slip though without any assistance through the slot to be able to be sent as a letter. I checked the slot and no where does it indicate that the requirement is it needs to just fall through. I would not have attempted testing it if it was not sure it would pass though as it would damage the envelope. I have had post office staff pass it though in front of me saying it was fine as long as it goes though. My item is not breakable and has bubble wrap as padding throughout inside the envelope. Appauling and rude customer service. I send a handful of post daily. Now I understand why people are looking for alternatives to the Australian Post. I do not like posting negative feedback on one issue but I have come across this particular women before and every time left upset, shaking my head and not want to go back to this store again. I think the time has come that I move on.

Seems to be a nice and fully equipped post office, bit hard to find but not impossible. Main downside was customer service, I felt like I was a massive nuisance asking for same day service keypass, which is advertised at only two locations by Australia Post. Customers shouldn't feel the need to apologise for requesting a service that is clearly offered. Basic manners and customer interaction isn't that difficult, aren't you getting paid? Couldn't help overhearing the customer beside me getting treated in a similar way. On top of this, it was a painfully slow process considering I came early in the day with all relevant documents and forms pre-filled. Anyone needing this service should make the journey to Footscray, wouldn't be hard for them to provide you with a better service for the price.

Flinders Lane - you do the EXPRESS KEYPASS service so DON'T ASK THE CUSTOMER TO GO TO OTHER LPOs to do it there was a case today where a customer went to one in the inner city suburbs and wasted the worker's time as he said he was at your Post Office before ...but someone in Flinders Lane told him the wrong information..... Where did you get the idea that other LPOs can do the EXPRESS KEYPASS and get it back in 2 days You know the other LPOs only do the slow processing don't you? lift your game people

It's one of their bigger branches, with most of the services expected of an auspost branch available incl identity and travel services. It used to be seriously crowded pre COVID (queues out the door) but as you can see from my pics (taken on a Monday around 9.30am in july) time your visit correctly and you may just get your stuff done without queuing. Parcel needs well stocked, and most staff know what they're doing so it should be a pretty straightforward transactions. There's also 2 long benches with pens available to assist with packaging up your parcels.

I am giving this 4 stars as I want to thank the young lady who helped me carry my very heavy 14 kg parcel back to my apartment 2 doors down yesterday 20/2 (due to recent surgery and being unable to lift anything heavy) You really went out of your way <3. The post delivery drivers have gotten so lazy as I work from home, they don't even ring your bell to come down anymore. Everything gets taken straight to the post office. It's such a bother to come and collect parcels when I work from home.

I found the staff very helpful and efficient. It was a little difficult to locate the actual post office - address is 271 Collins st, but the office is located right at the very back of the building (behind the lifts) and it's not obvious to see. Also the signage from the street doesn't stand out and can be easily missed The machines for signing up to the internet were all broken and out of service.

One employee took a bit longer to type in the foreign address from my form. As it was a few minutes after 5 pm, one of her co-workers complained to me saying „we want to go home.“ and commenting on my handwriting. Sorry, I didn‘t know I have to go to a calligraphy class to be allowed to use one of AusPost‘ services. This lady shows rude behaviour and should be reminded what customer service means.

Had to do my lands title identification, which was a painful long process but staffs here got them all done professionally. Shout out to Logan, who is the trainee but she was very switch on and her willingness to help getting things done really impressed me. Compared to what I had been treated at 440 Collins st branch, staffs here are what I call five stars professional customer service.

Jessica is an amazing customer service person at this outlet, she assisted us with attesting our documents straight away without hesitation!! Prior to visiting here, we have been to 2 police stations & 3 chemist warehouses but they have turned us back, Shame! Jessica is excellent in her skills and ready to help the community! Thank you

Impossible to collect mail from AusPost as they open at 9 when I am at work and shut at 5, which is when I leave the office. To add insult to injury, they are closed weekends. Someone with very low intelligence has decided their opening hours to be so. Do other businesses in the heart of the CBD close their doors at 5 too?

Excellent customer service. Everyone is so wonderful and polite, was not busy at all during the times I was there. Got called over and served straight away by a gentleman. Finished my Keypass early, Aus Post Flinders Lane you’re doing a fantastic job at making your customers happy!! thank you and keep up the good work!

Definitely due to the friendly, helpful and professional customer service. Thank you! Efficient and friendly staff. On entering, was met with a smile, kind words and good customer service.

For Australia Post - this is a pretty good store. Staff are friendly - and most of the time queues move very quickly. Hard to find if you don't know the exact location (non-street facing shop front). Self check-out is good - but having limited products on the shelf make it pretty limited.

Tucked into the belly of 271 Collins St, this Auspost branch is very discreet and easy to miss. Staff were polite, easy to deal with, and knowledgeable. There were lots of counters open to serve customers and the lines were not long considering we went there during a December weekday.

The staff here are efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I literally have never enjoyed waiting and running errands at a post office and always expect to lose 20-30 mins of my day waiting and explaining myself, but i was in and out under 10, i only wish it was open Saturday’s too

Clearly no interest in doing anything quickly in these parts. Usually a post office is a quick moving place but we’ve been in line for so long I think I should order lunch. It can’t be that hard! Every other store manages in the whole country. Time for some back to basics.

Always happens, you pay extra for express from sender, it comes a day or 2 early. So you pay normal delivery and they tell you 3 days b4 hand, and guess what never turns up by the ontime due date. Then you always get the excuse covid blah blah blah. Just not good enough.

Prompt, friendly service, very busy Friday afternoon but you can't complain I mean it's our fault. We know it's a small post office. Small selection. Features a rare early pick up on Weekdays - if you call 131319 they can advise details on 6:30am collections.

Excellent service. Went for a passport application, the staff there was very helpful, quick and efficient. Got everything done in just a few minutes from getting the photo taken to lodging the application. Will definitely go back there for any service.

Such great staff! Had a bizarre experience with my Medicare card falling into a tiny gap in the counter. All hands on deck, counters pulled apart, and 15 mins later it was found. Thanks team - amazing work!

ITS BUSY BUT THE QUEUE MOVES FAIRLY QUICKLY Full post office service - everything from stamps to passport photos to bill paying. Staff here are quite friendly. Best to avoid 12 - 1 pm if you can!

It is extremely difficult to take passport photo for my toddler but Jessica did a great job. She is very patient and professional. She is definitely an asset for the company! 5/5 for Jessica.
