I made a complaint over the phone, however I'm going to record it here as well. Today I received the plumbers from Australian Hot Water at my place to fix an issue with my hot water tank. However, I didn't receive any call to be advised when they would come. I contacted my real estate agent to check if she had any information, and then she contacted the company. A couple of minutes later I received a call from an attendant from Australian Hot Water saying that the plumbers were coming to my place in the afternoon, to which I replied saying that no one contacted me about it. In a very rude manner, she said that she had called me yesterday and I didn't pick up, so she left a message. I said that I had not received any calls (and honestly I have no reasons to lie about it). She continued very irritable and informed me that she had to "move around" other clients to accommodate the demand at my place and that they were all very busy. I told her that she was being rude and that it was not my problem. By the end, I remember telling her that she should be polite the next time she talked to a customer, to which she replied with something like "I will keep that in mind". Later on, I received another call from Australian Hot Water as I had sent an e-mail asking how I could make a complaint about the incident. The lady who I spoke to apologized and said that the business has been quite busy lately, etc. I understand that we become stressed when having high work demands, but her attitude was not professional at all, to say the least. I hope she receives feedback about it, so that doesn't happen again in the future.

We were worried about any plumbing jobs as we have had terrible experience in the past that resulted in going to the tribunal. Thankfully this time it was hassle free and the expertise and service were excellent. The guy who came in for the inspection knew his stuff, explained everything to us thoroughly and gave us options. We then had our gas water heater replaced within days from receiving the quote. They also have electricians with them hence simplifying the process of installing extra power points. The job was done in less than half a day and was absolutely stress and hassle free. Price was reasonable and competitive as we compared 3 quotes. Most importantly my house was looked after and wasn't left with a mess or broken/destroyed items to deal with afterwards. Would certainly recommend to others.

Our old 80 gal gravity feed Joseph Autohot water heater in the roof sprung a major leak flowing through the ceiling into the house. I contacted Australian Hot Water who were excellent in quickly responding and discussing options, we deciding on Rheem Model 4A1315. This involved isolating the old roof heater, planning and installing new pipework etc coupling the new outside water heater to existing pipework. I could not have been happier with the speed, expertise and professionalism in organising and completing the installation now working perfectly. They were very easy to deal with and the pricing for our complex installation was very reasonable, I would certainly recommend them to others requiring similar services.

All office, sales and technical staff members at Aust Hot Water Northern Beaches - though we live in Lane Cove! - were helpful from first enquiry about replacing our instant gas system with a split heat pump system right through to our final decision ( three months of agonising over our needs and comparing specifications of competing systems) to instal a Sanden with a 315 litre tank. One week now and watching the roof solar easily reheating in about three hours every day is a highlight in Covid’s gloom.

Absolutely fantastic service. Michael, the technician that came to relocate my hot water tank is a qualified electrician AND a plumber as well. Super efficient and kindly explained all the process and gave advice. He took pride on his work...he extended all pipes for water and electrical, all aligned perfectly and with the minimum obstruction possible to allow us to fit in a dishwasher. Recommended 100%. Even the lady on the phone when I called to book the job...she was great!

Excellent service from the first google search, prices including installation were clearly advertised unlike many suppliers who have to come out and do a site check. Their website booking system is simple and easy to use and they called to confirm everything within 24 hours. Three days later they had completed the installation and the place was left exactly how they started. Clean and tidy with a brilliant explanation on the warrantees. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Two plumbers and one electrician on-site within 2 hours after my confirmed order. They are ALL polite and professional. For the step where they located the heater, the plumber consulted with me first and explained pros and cons before they work. The electrician also explained to me how the electrical operating and wiring after his job done . They completed everything within 3 hours. Efficient and Polite! Highly recommended!

Excellent, prompt and efficient service. They arrived within 5 minutes of the booking time. Storage tank hot water heater, which they themselves installed for me 25 years ago, removed through difficult access and new continuous flow system installed in its place in 2 hours flat, with the site left perfectly neat and clean by personable and highly skilled technicians. Could not ask for more.

Georgie and Samantha in the office were very friendly and helpful and followed up immediately when I rang. They sent Troy around within a couple of hours to check the measurements for the heater and the following day he and Angus installed a new one and removed the old one. After a disappointing experience with another provider, I called Australian Hot Water who were very helpful, quick to respond, and diagnosed the fault as an electronic failure within my Sanden heat pump. Being seven years old, I opted to replace the whole unit. Within a day the unit had been replaced and within a few hours hot water service had successfully resumed.

Georgie was so nice and a pleasure to deal with, she explained the whole process in detail. The plumbers arrived rite on time and the whole process was taken care of Very quickly. I obtained a bunch of quotes for my hot water tank to be replaced and Aus hot water came in $200 below the nearest competitor. Would recommend!
