We are very fortunate to have Ava Pharmacy, a woman-owned business, in our neighbourhood. One significant advantage of her pharmacy is that she is always on site. Outstanding pharmacy in the St. Clair and Yonge Area. Ava Pharmacy is a hidden gem tucked away inside the Sobey’s plaza. Manel, the lovely owner, pharmacist is an unparalleled professional, caring pharmacist. She can’t do enough for her clients which means so much considering our pandemic reality. Luckily I happened upon her when I first moved into the neighbourhood. I never plan to leave her care. She took my health and medical needs under her wing and diligently sought sources to make certain that I have all the medications that I need. There were issues during the quarantine regarding limited access to some medication but Manel ploughed through all obstacles. Further given my vulnerable, high risk status she personally delivered my meds to my home right from the start. SHE HAD NEVER EVEN MET ME! Ava Pharmacy with Manel at the helm cannot be surpassed. Ava Pharmacy is an independently owned gem in this little plaza. The store has everything you could need and the pharmacist Manal is an efficient and caring professional. She is extremely helpful, courteous and has always put in the effort to make sure the care is top notch every time I've gone in. Before this place I've only dealt with pharmacists who are extremely impersonal. In the future I doubt I'll find a pharmacist who will meet the high bar that this business has set for me.

Manal, the pharmacist at Ava Pharmacy, is a one of a kind gem. She is one of the most caring, kind and concerned pharmacists I’ve ever met and she truly cares about her patients. Although the store isn’t huge and therefore the selection is limited, it’s wonderful to browse the shelves because there are all kinds of items here that you wouldn’t find in a chain store drugstore. And if you can’t find it, Manal will get it in if she can. Really wish all pharmacists were like her!

Manal Kelada is a really superior pharmacist. She is very knowledgeable about prescriptions, is concerned about my health, gives extra advice about when to take pills, and gives me cost-saving suggestions. During the pandemic, she's even offered to bring prescriptions to my nearby apartment. I much prefer this personal and caring service to the big drug store chains... and she carries a good assortment of personal care products too. We are lucky to have you, Manal!

Manal, the pharmacist at Ava Pharmacy, is a knowledgeable professional and a very kind individual. She's helped me many times and always makes me feel as if any question I may have about my health and possible treatment is very important. Also, she's never given me the feeling that she was trying to make me spend more money than needed. I go there often because many over-the-counter pills and creams are cheaper than at the chain drugstores.

Manal is fabulous, empathetic and what you would expect from a pharmacist -- the technicians at the larger pharmacies are nothing more than order takers and you won't find that with Manal. My guess is that any non-stellar reviews are from the previous owner. Manal took over a few years ago and even though I moved from the area, she will continue to be my pharmacist. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my health!

Now that I've found this small, independent neighborhood pharmacy, I realize the difference in the care provided by Ava Pharmacy versus big chain pharmacies where I'm just a number.
