My family had an amazing experience at Avani’s. The quality of the food and the customer service is out of this world. The staff were very friendly and helped with ordering. We felt very welcomed. They have a great variety of choices for veg or non-veg. We ordered the Aloo Tikki Naan-wich, the Naan Chips and Dip, a Paneer Tikka Poutine, a Bowl and a Burroti Roll. The flavour was so great and each bite was better than the last. And everything is reasonably priced - good prices for large portion sizes and amazing food. The drinks all taste so good as well - we got mango and strawberry lassi, and masala chai. This place really is a gem and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area or passing through.

This is a great place to pick up a roll or a rice bowl with fresh ingredients that have great taste, and enjoy it while sitting in downtown Oakville or walk by the lake. Had an incredibly tasty, customizable bowl. It was very flavourful and fresh and a great healthy option. I felt very bad for the only man who was working when we went, he was doing everything as fast as he could but he also had to be answering the store phone and a customer had to leave due to the slow service. There should be at least 2 people working there at all times as that is very difficult work to be cooking/making bowls, taking orders, being cashier, and answering phone calls all while trying to be quick and quality. I do not blame that worker, he did great and the food was great, but there should be more people working.

Just visited Avani in Oakville for the first time since they opened and I was extremely happy with the service we received. I cannot remember her name but she was so helpful with selecting toppings and sauces for our Bowls and Burroti. Had the chicken massala with loads of fresh toppings. This place is AMAZING!!! The food and customer service are top notch! The staff were super kind and helped us choose what to order! Below average food. We were group of 8 people ordered different things, from bowl to rolls to naans, veggi to chicken so we covered it all. I don't know why but every single dish was too sour even the one without any chutney. Chicken smell bad and paneer was dry. Definitely not the Avani standard that we love for for the last 15 years. There was only one server and he was extremely helpful. That's the only good experience. Hope franchise owner checks the food they serve.

Ordered Chai , Mini Samosas and Paneer tikka poutine. Nowadays, most of the Indian stores use Chai machine. They all taste almost similar. So no complains. Mini samosas were good but I didn't get the usual tamarind chutney with them in box. But they tasted good. Now, the reason behind 3 stars, Paneer tikka poutine. It had lot of paneer gravy which was not even warm and it had less fries. Paneer Gravy taste wasn't the best even. It was an okay experience.

Had a horrible experience! We were so excited after seeing all their ads. Did a pick up order, but were dissatisfied. Our rolls were soggy from too much sauce and there was barely any real flavour. The butter chicken sauce was too sweet, and the tandoori naan bread which comes with the bowl was more like papad (super stiff and dry). Was expecting way more personality from their food.

Saw an ad on Instagram a few weeks ago and planned to come here. Unfortunately, the food felt like it was a day or two old. The brown rice was stale and crispy. Fresh naan is usually stretchy and takes two hands to break but this naan was stale and just broke into two pieces with little effort. Service was good but food has a lot of improvements.
