We found what were looking for.. Ave Maria is located in Casa View shopping center. It is broken up into 4 small rooms, which have different rooms and items, you really have to take your time to look around. It is clean and the person behind the counter greeted us and asked if he could help us, very friendly.

When Sacred Heart in Richardson closed, I needed to find a new Catholic shop, and Ave Maria was recommended to me. I was very happy with the selection of Catholic prayer cards and books available and appreciated how the little store is divided into sections to make browsing easier. I will definitely be back!

Reason for stars: Catholic bookstores are difficult to come by in this section of the country. Reason stars deducted: small with fairly poor selection and the one person working there on our visit did not say one word to us much less try to assist

I've shopped at this store sporadically for almost 20 years. I've only ever been treated well. There is lots to see/browse and I especially like the more traditional books from TAN as well as the St Joseph children's books that they sell.

I visit once a month to purchase prayers cards to leave in my home church. The owners make an effort to make sure my preferred cards are in stock. It is not a large purchase maybe $15 Very friendly people
