Aeroplan members avoid this location! I booked online and got my rental on time. It was the return of the car that was awful customer service. After returning the car the lady charged my credit card! When you book online they already charge you so you don’t have to worry about payment after. This lady was so quick to charge my card that she doesn’t even have the time to read the rental agreement that says I already pre-paid. Worst of all they can’t even refund you on the spot. I had to call customer service and it took 3 weeks. THREE WEEKS TO GET A REFUND LOL. What a joke this location is! I received no apology from this lady and she needs to learn basic customer service skills. The skill is called “listening” She didn’t even let me finish explaining that I already paid before she interrupts and says that I’m only getting a deposit back lol. I worked in customer service for 10+ years and this location clearly lacks basic customer service skills. I will not be returning to this location and actually have already rented from another Avis location who had great customer service skills. TLDR: AVOID THIS LOCATION THEY WILL DOUBLE CHARGE YOU AND YOU WILL WAIT 2 + WEEKS TO GET A REFUND!

EDIT: SONIE AND NANDIE ARE AMAZING!!!! They just called and resolved this issue and the most professional and amazing way possible. They also refunded me for the day I was denied to return the car. So from the bottom of my heart I am making this a 5 star review because they have shown they cared! Original review before the issue was addressed: came back to return my car and the service guy was super rude. I was there 1:58 and they close at 2. I was in a lot of pain and was late but I came before they closed. He said he turned off the system and was really unpleasant. He did the same thing with a pregnant lady who was begging him. Seriously not cool. When I took my car I was serviced by two very professional and friendly ladies and I had a great impression about this place this could have easily been a 5 star review!

Your custom service was amazing, you were so engaging and dedicated to ensuring I understood the process throughly and that my family enjoyed this rental. Yes returning the vehicle to the parking garage can be a bit tricky so its important to pay attention to the signs, But would I return or recommend this location? 100% Small gestures do go a long way, Sonie thank you for going above and beyond by simply walking me to the elevators to ensure I knew exactly how to get to the parking garage to collect this vehicle, you are a gem!

1) check the gas level - mostly not full 2) car not checked by them for any damages- stating that they are very busy.. 3) parking is 3 level down the office and they expect us to come up and down to let them know / check the car .. they don’t 4) always not available around 9:10 even though it’s working hrs .. 5) they allow booking only when they want .. eg car not available for booking in advance thru discount code for weekends during spring And summer.. I am not able to reserve the car for any weekend from now till next 9 months .. can you believe it’s real ?

Overall my experience was Okay, the office staff could improve their service I am a corporate traveler and I have rented from this location for almost a year now every week. I have had a few frustrating experiences with this location. Rental receipts are not closed out when the car is returned and emails are not sent regularly for each rental, making my expense reconciliation a nightmare! Although the location is small, the car selection is good and I have been upgraded several times due the lack of cars at the level I booked.

Don’t deal with the office in 50 Burnhamthorpe rd. W in Mississauga L5B 3C2. They are scammers. Been dealing with them for 9yrs and they rob me 2 weeks worth of rental. You can’t take my money unfairly. You owe me and owe it to your customers to tell them clearly the consequences of returning the rental earlier and give them ‘your customers’ the choice. It’s my choice if I want to keep the car or give it back and lose my money. Scammers. Shame on you. Dishonest.

Edit:. Got a call from the manager. She explained the charge and we are happy with the resolution she provided. Original: Shady business as I returned the vehicle to their garage and asked the guy do they want to do an inspection (as this is what other companies do). He said don't worry if they find anything they will call me in 5 minutes. No one ever called and a week later got a charge on my card saying 150 cleaning fee. I'm going to dispute this. SHADY!

Stay away from this location, i booked SUV through Costco , when i checked in , lady on reception told me if i bring car next day later than 4 or 5 pm she will charge me for next day , that never happens wth any car rental , usually you need to drop the keys in case if you are late , it was my mistake i should have checked reviews before I will report Costco to remove this location from their list

This was my first time booking with Avis + first time with mississauga square one locatiom . It was a nice experience with avis. Car was clean and fully sanitized. Gentlemen on the counter (sorry i dont know the name but he was there at 7:45am 5th Sep 2020) was really helpful and nice , also he answered all my questions regarding rental & return . I will definatly recomend this location.

They are forcing people to book rentals for more than one day , which is ridiculous, previously I use to always book for one day and today the charges for one day is more than two days like wow , first they stopped people from booking for more than one day And the rates are higher from other location just for one day rentals , why because it’s a square one location ?

They have very limited options for cars. Parking is 6 storeys down and they asked me to sign the vehicle damage/condition slip even without having a look at the car first. They don't offer free drop services when I inquired for it was bluntly said NO when other Avis outlets do provide it. I'll rate the one at matherson blv much better than this in all aspects.

worst experience with the lady at the desk...i forgot to print my licence copy while i had a soft copy, and she did not help in either printing or with the soft copy. I have to go inside hotel opposite to get the print-out. After I got the printed copy she changed her word saying i could have helped with printed. sadist.

Worst place. Place is like a maze. No instructions. Also Avis counter has no one there. The lady Sonnie is always going around and you have to wait forever to speak to someone. I was also charged for gas even though my thing was full when I returned. Never again at this location. I would rather walk than rent from here.

I'm puzzled by the numerous negative reviews about this center. I've been a customer for the past two years, and they've consistently been customer-friendly. They accommodate last-minute requests, are polite, and always available on the phone for any inquiries. Sonie, Ron, and Swathi have been extremely helpful

Avis did a great job. They were flexible enough to allow me to upgrade to a larger vehicle that was available, patient enough to explain their different package, and friendly during the entire process. They've always gone above and beyond each time I have rented from this location.

First of all they didn’t give the car on time , I have returned 2 days earlier , they didnt waived price for early return , lady at the counter says if return it will be charged accordingly , then later no we can’t waive the Price . Big rental scammers ,no courtesy with customers .

Picked up car Friday ~630 pm. Returned Sunday 4 pm . Did fill up the tank prior to return . Charged for 3 days and additional $23 for not filling up the tank. Been an Avis user for years in USA/Canada (personal / corporate accounts) and this was a first time experience.

Sales clerk was absolutely amazing I believe her name is Sunny. When I showed up they didn't have the smaller vehicle that i ordered, so they upgraded me free of charge to a large SUV. Very satisfied with my experience overall I would definitely rent a vehicle again.

Staff is helpful and friendly . Only got trouble when they increase their rental rates on 1st of july I had the car since June 20 and not aware of rate increases. But overall service and staff is good and informative .
