I'm not sure what people expect from a fairly rural train station? You don't need ticket machines when there are, (usually), conductors on the train or when tickets can be bought on line/app. I like the artwork and general appearance of station. As for the train service itself, I personally think it's a great way to get in and out of Bristol. Cheap and quick. Beats taking a bus almost every time. Or even a car? Nice views of the river Avon and the gorge.

It's decent. Not that busy for its size. Wheelchair accessible for sure. If you want to get to the other platform you have to leave the station and go to the railway crossing next to it. Then you can cross and go to the other platform. Luckily the crossing is never closed for long because there's about 2 trains per hour that actually cross it because quite a few services terminate here despite only 2 platforms

Small station, no facilities etc. Handy if you work in avonmouth. Only know of 2 local taxi firms that pickup from here..word of caution book well in advance, anywhere near school run time you could be there a while. Recently however (late 2022) Uber has begun to gather some pace there average wait time early morning 10-20 mins so handy in a pinch if you're going to portbury

Suburb station. Trains to and from Bristol Temple Meads only. Two platforms. No staff or ticket machine. There is one help point which displays train times and can be used to talk to GWR staff. Platforms are very dirty although few Severn Rail community group is putting best effort.

Fairly rural / industrial station, no ticket machines or staff sadly, but that's not expected from a station like this. Trains can get very busy from around 0800-0930, and from 1400-1600, due to school runs. Other than that a good station.

Has the atmosphere of a country-house hotel in the tropics. Spread over 12 acres of glorious gardens, it delivers graceful, old-school luxury better than any other train station in the West of England.

Terrible little station. No staff. Ticket machine vandalised. Scruffy dirty platform.
