Look no further for a dentist! Dr. Enatsu and his staff are so very professional, kind and welcoming. They are the absolute best!!!!! The customer service is exceptional, and they made me feel very comfortable. I am from the United States, and I had to get dental work done while temporarily living in Japan. I was so nervous to get dental work performed in Japan because I was unsure if it would be painful due to me reading and hearing of how pain medicine and anesthesia are both viewed in Japan. I researched several dentists and found Dr. Enatsu through Google. I was impressed and comfortable with making an appointment at United Dental Office when reading about Dr. Enatsu’s credentials and contributions to the world of dentistry. However, I was still extremely nervous because I was informed by a dentist right before I came to Japan that I had to get a root canal, and I thought it was going to be painful. Dr. Enatsu and his staff were absolutely wonderful and was able to fix my tooth without having to perform a root canal, however, I did have to get a crown. I visited United Dental office 3x for the crown, and each visit was painless and pleasant. Also, the work performed is excellent and you can not distinguish the tooth with the crown from the rest of my teeth. Everthing about United Dental Office is high quality! If I could in the future, I wish I can come to United Dental Office for all of my dental needs. This was one of the best dental experiences I have had, and I recommend everyone to United Dental Office!!!!!!

Dr. Enatsu and his staff are absolutely THE BEST. They all speak English! And the clinic has ALL the latest technologies. I came to Tokyo last month, ate a hard nut, cracked off half of my upper tooth, same one I KNEW I also needed a root canal on back in the USA, but I was in real bad shape and in terrible pain. I was in no shape to fly home. By the Grace of God, I found Dr. Enatsu's United Dental Clinic, right near Tokyo tower. He took me in immediately. I don't know what he did for the next 2-3 hours, all I know is that it was PAINLESS. I walked out with a completed root canal, and a temporary crown. Very important as I had to fly out from Japan, and I needed to be fully functional. I was able to eat, attend meetings, everything, next day, zero problem. Dr. Enatsu said I could get a permanent crown done back in America, but I will definitely fly back to Japan next month, as I only want HIM to do it. Dr. Enatsu is a REAL professional, best dentist I ever experienced. Also, his billing and insurance coding and clinical documentation paperwork is all to American standards, and in English, so I can easily submit to insurance - because he is U.S. licensed and trained (California). It just does NOT get any better than this, when overseas... AME.

I was in your office yesterday. I want to tell everyone thank you for taking care of me so quickly and painlessly! This is the place to go if you want a good western medicine dentist! I had a cracked tooth and had a terrible experience with a different dentist because I thought he would give me a block for my root canal. But he didn't and it was horrible! I left him determined to find a better equipped place to finish what had been started. I found United Dental on the web. I traveled to Tokyo from Fukuoka and it was totally worth it! At United Dental Clinic, I received a CT scan and x-rays to determine the exact problem. Their English is great! My tooth ended up needing to be extracted because the crack was int the root. It was extracted with no pain! Also learned about other things that I need to be aware of in the future to prevent this from happening to my other teeth. Dr Enatsu is a comprehensive dentist taking into consideration all aspects of your teeth. I am so glad I found this place. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Enatsu for Endodontics for sure!! As a dentist myself, I was apprehensive to be treated by someone other than the colleagues I know from home- I needn’t have been! Dr Enatsu is fluent in English enabling him to provide you with a clear explanation of your problem and treatment options. The office is clan, modern and equipped with digital xrays, camera and microscope enabling them to provide a first class experience for patient. Aside from the technical aspect, the staff are lovely, and even managed to fit me in at very short notice. Dr Enatsu is a calm, caring practitioner who strives to provide a comprehensive and pain free experience for his patients. The prices are expensive in comparison to the UK, however, all documentation is provided in English to insurance standard (enabling you to claim for emergency care if this is included on your travel insurance policy). If you’re seeking an English speaking dentist in Tokyo- I highly recommend the practice!

I've only been to the dentist maybe 3 times in the last 10 years due to a major fear caused by a not so great dentist when I was a teenager, so when I went to Dr Enatsu, I was pretty nervous. I needed a substantial amount of fillings and an extraction - I told Dr Enatsu there was no way I was able to have an extraction and I was very worried about the cavities. He booked me in for a series of appointments to address the cavities and always booked me nice long appointments so I had time to get comfortable and was confident the anesthesia had worked. After 4 weeks of appointments successfully treating my cavities, I was so confident I had the extraction, which was unbelievably quick and painless. Dr Enatsu is hands down the best dentist I've seen anywhere in the world and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Also, the dental nurse who works with him is just lovely, so reassuring and kind.

I highly recommend United Dental Office if you’re looking for US level dental care in Japan. The dentists are extremely experienced and up to date with newest dental research. All the staff here speak very good English so it is easy for foreigners to communicate. The dentists always explain the procedure step by step which eases my dental anxiety. Even during covid times when everyone is masked, I am always greeted with a warm welcome and a big smile by the dental assistant. All the staff members prioritize my health and comfort which is reassuring when seeking treatment in a foreign country. My experience every time is pleasant, the bad reviews here are unwarranted. This office has amazing customer service and I am always treated well even when it gets busy.

実際に奥歯の根管治療をしてもらったのでこれから治療を検討している方に参考になればと思い投稿致します。 ・欧米ベースの高度な治療とのことですが、マイクロスコープとラバーダムを使用した日本の自由診療の歯科医と同じごく一般的な根管治療と感じました。 ・初診は全体と対象箇所のレントゲンを取り、今後の治療内容の説明15分程度で10000円＋レントゲン代(1枚2000円程度)がかかりました。他の都内の自由診療の歯科医と比較すると割高です。 ・歯科用CTがなく、レントゲン写真で内部の状態を確認するのが不安でした。自由診療で精密根管治療を行う歯科医は通常はマイクロスコープ＋ラバーダム+歯科用CTの3点が揃っていると他の歯科医で聞いましたので。 ・根管充填が完了後、術後の経過観測(アフターケア)は無しです。他の自由診療の歯科医は治療の半年後に経過を見ていただけたことがあるのですが、こちらの医院は無しです。 ・私の治療の途中で助手に任せて訪問してきた外国人と談笑し始めたときは非常に残念な気持ちになりました。外国人を優遇していると感じました。 ・奥歯の根管治療後、根管の先端に膿がある状態(レントゲンで見ると黒い陰がある状態)でも治療が完了したと言われ根管充填して治療を終了としたが、歯には痛みがあり、他の医院でセカンドオピニオンサード、オピニオンでの診察結果は治療は完了していないと判断されました。1本の歯を治療するのに300000円かけましたが結果的に治療は失敗に終わりました。 本当に許せないです。 ・医師やスタッフが英語が得意なため外国人が安心して治療が受けられるが、日本語で会話が出来る人にとっては上記の経験談からこちらで根幹治療を受けるのはおすすめできない。

Years ago, I went for root canal that was previously wrong done. I remember the male dentist asking where my S.O. working and how much the international insurance will cover so that he can reach to that max level by adding extra cleaning there and repair there to maximize the amount he can get (this is so rude in many ways, if I were a Japanese he will not dare to speak about my private life, but he could if I am a foreigner and not so good at Japanese at that time. I think he behaved as if a foreigner with imperfect Japanese is an idiot and cannot recognize a money-digger who speaks about money so forcibly)... I feel sorry for people who cannot speak Japanese, because it is Tokyo and there are many dentists.

Our family of four have been with United Dental for five years. Sachie, the office manager, takes care of everything from insurance cover questions to making appointments to checking everything is ok. She is absolutely on top of it all. The dentists and the hygienists are excellent. The dentists speak perfect English and can converse with you about all dental issues no matter how big or small. The hygienists are absolutely careful and particularly good with small children who can be nervous about their first dental experience. We recommend United Dental unreservedly.

If you are scared of dentists like I am this is the place for you. They make sure that you have the least unpleasant experience. And they do it right! The doctor has studied in the US and speaks perfect English. The rest of the staff speak good English too. If I want to summarize my experience there, 1. Painless treatment. 2. Painless treatment. 3. I did a semi-rout canal there and I should say Painless treatment. 4. Good English. 5. Helpful staff. 6. Skilled dentist. This is the place to go in Tokyo if you have tooth problems.

Top quality dental care. I had a potentially difficult wisdom tooth extraction that two other dental clinics did not want to do. I found United Dental Office online and after speaking to them, they expressed their confidence that they could do the job. They performed a smooth and painless extraction of my wisdom tooth. I could not use my Japanese insurance here but it was still worth the extra cost. I just regret that not coming here earlier.

Outstanding service and craftsmanship! Since 2009 I have relied on Dr. Enatsu and Dr. Hayashi, and I have always been satisfied with their fine work, particularly complex procedures like new or replacement crowns. As a repeat customer, I especially recommend their custom-made night guards--the best I have found anywhere.

I developed a major tooth ache which turned out to be a dead nerve/abscess while on a 3 week stay in Japan. United Dental was able to get me in the next day, confirm my suspicions and prescribe me some antibiotics to stop any more infection from spreading until I could return home.
