Long waits in the direct to boot orders. The instruction on websites on how to let them know you have arrived or waited at car park or whether you should press the buzzer, their websites is confusing. Have to ring store couple times but not answering so went inside store only to tossed you again back outside, not helpful customer service staff. Since the rest of my order was unavailable, what's left in my order was so tiny they could just have given to me there. But since they didn't bother to check my order number it frustrates it's customers more. Staff are not focused on their tasks. It'll frustrate you to rather pick up your order yourself inside store. Very disappointed. You shouldn't keep direct to boot option if your workers are not keen to it. Received notice of unavailable items came to my email first then last email said it's ready for pickup and all my ordered items were listed. Got headache very frustrating.

I used to work for this company back when they had very high standards. Tonight three staff at the door. Not one could be bothered even acknowledging us as we walked in. No staff to be seen in the store itself. No actual staffed checkouts open. They don’t care that a staff member is literally standing there like a security guard watching people scan their own items without assistance. Not staff fault that this is what they are told to do but not even looking at customers and being friendly. I also hate that they are all dressed in jeans and casual clothes- even harder to identify what staff there are. Happy to charge full price, standing over us watching, not actually serving anyone and then turning away as we left. Customers are just big dollar signs walking in and out.

I placed an order with Big W Craigieburn a couple of weeks ago for pick up as it was not available for delivery. Just after someone very much loved by me and part of every day life died ...so I was a bit distracted and live a long way away. I booked pick up for Sunday 9th Oct at 4pm and that was confirmed. I clicked on the order when I arrived to confirm I was there and was told order had been cancelled! ??! There was no email to advise or explain this...but I found Paypal had been refunded. This is the last thing I needed to happen. I shop with Big W online regularly. Never again!

Durga is an absolute shocker, rude, obnoxious, and has the nerve to lie and make stuff up to try and get his way. Accused me of abusing a staff member and making her cry, only for me to walk past her 30 seconds later where I offered an apology if I did do anything wrong and she said 100% she was NOT crying or upset. All interactions I have with staff are pleasant and I can name 3 off the top of my head that will confirm this. Can also see staff feel intimidated by him and are worried to speak up. Hopefully head office will actually do something about it as he is.....

It took them over 24 hours to prepare an in-store click and collect order. The same amount of time I could have just done a click and collect from my car. There is no urgency in getting theirs orders ready compared to other stores of their size which actually do same day pick up for in store clock and collect. Service at counter was efficient. They need to improve on those turnaround times otherwise for someone who needs the product quickly but can't get into store they should stay away from the service. You will be disappointed

I have went yesterday to get balloons for party, staff who work in the party section was very rude and not give good customer service at all I was there around 5.40 pm and asked can we get 5 helium balloons but she was refused and said we are closed but I have shown notice board to her it's says it close on Saturday at 6pm then she took board away and said it's wrong. I was just shook, Really disappointed customer service that they have provides us. We will never recommend this place again.

Good variety of pans and pots available there. Bought 2 today. Update: bought some more stuff again after 2 months. I like the variety of non-stick pans available there. Also hey have a huge variety of towels with varying prices according to your choice of quality. What I also like is their considerable section of books and movies. Cutlery is also of fairly nice quality with affordable options. There is a cosmetics and personal hygiene section as well.

I wish I can give zero stars Picked up a heater (picture attached) it clearly says 79 but at the checkout it was coming a different price called manager Durga very rude person refuse to owner the advertised price …… I work in same field I know if someone misplaced the item on wrong shelf I can understand…. But there was heaps of same kind ………as a customer anybody will think it’s the same price as advertised… poor service zero stars for Durga and team

Glad to see other countries products being sold other than the one that mass manufactures bad quality wear/use once only products. Quality is lacking and a bit more variety for ladies larger sizes in smart casual. Otherwise well set out. Easy to shop. Fitting rooms lighting can be improved so u can see what things look like on in good lighting.

Darcy is an absolute gentleman, my husband and I desperately needed some photos printed as his father was dying and he had a flight at 11pm sat night. We turned up at 10 minutes to closing , I explained our situation to Darcy and he turned the photo machine back on and he went above and beyond to help us …

No generic brands, only real great quality brands at extremely competitive prices! Buy a puzzle at Kmart and buy a puzzle at bigw for the same price and you'll see the difference in quality; BigW is BETTER QUALITY ALWAYS! They sell brand name products, unlike Kmart. BigW is always a first choice.

Extremely poor customer service. I attended Sunday 23rd October at 10am. When I arrived the greeter on front door was to busy on her phone to look up and greet the customers. 5mins later when I left she was still too busy on her to look up at the customers leaving.

Overall experience is good. But I am wondering for more Indian items variety. Also we need more superior quality items. There should be more check out registers. For the time being staff is good to co-operate. I always prefer Big W to target or other stores. Thanks

Experience spoilt by political announcements over the PA,7 times during my visit. I go to the shops to get away from the news and politics, not be brow beaten by loudly transmitted and repetitive comments around any minority group, racial,gender,ability or anyone.

Always clean, staff always around, great specials to be found. Only thing I hate is when you're looking for long pjs or jackets or any winter clothing in spring, there is nothing to be found. I know it's spring, but the weather does not reflect this at the moment!

I am aware of Christmas being a very busy time but I found the staff of being not helpful in customer service. Excuse being that they are short staffed. Unfortunately this should not be my problem as I am a customer wanting to spend money. Employ more staff BIG W.

Bad customer service, the fitting rooms manager wouldn't let me try on the pants, she said the fitting rooms are currently closed. It's strange how a big store of this size closes the fitting rooms two hours before the store's closing time.

I placed an order for a stroller online in Cragieburn one of the closest stores in stock. 24 hours later I attended the store which was 1 hour away from me, as there were major storms ahead and I didn't want to be delayed. I called ahead,

Order a click and collect. Get told because it was after 12 would have to come back tomorrow. There were 3 of the item sitting in the cabinet. How hard is it to go and get one and scan it through? Absolutely ridiculous!

Went in for a refund was served by a wonderful girl on the laybuy counter who while under another stressful customer. Provided exceptional customer service skills. I have unfortunately forgotten her name …

Good variety of clothes and household goods at reasonable prices. The thing I appreciate the most is the direct to boot service. I will continue to use BigW as long as this service continues.

When it comes to your return policy, it's so bad! Tried to exchange it after he used it, it didn't work and couldn't exchange without a receipt but ut qas a gift and it's gone

They got rid of plastic bags, from self checkout. So I proceeded head towards to Kmart, I got a similar product with the added benefit of a plastic bag from the self checkout.

Great service received today from Onal (I hope I've got this right). He was so friendly, approachable and went out of his way to help us and it was very much appreciated.
