During my move last week, my Bank of Montreal card got mangled and didn't work in machines. I went to the closest Bank of montreal, and there is no one being served. The bank teller asked if you could help me and I said I need to get a new card because this one has been mangled and does not work. He asked me if I had my driver's license with me and I said no. I do have a picture of it. He said where is your driver's license. I said it's at home. He said we cannot help you. I said I know you can help me. In the past when I didn't have my driver's license they asked me some questions about my account about my residence address and Bank activity. He decided to assert his power in the situation instead of helping me. He refused to do the questions instead of my driver's license. So I had to take another hour and go to my bank location which is no longer close to me since I moved. I do not call this good service especially when the bank is so empty and it looks like there's very little for them to do. He was a male Chinese teller.
Only 2 customer one already being answered and me Standing there for 15 min with 4 employees walking around ignoring me. Nobody asking why I am here or what do I need. Not even a Hello! When all I needed was a some 1$ and 25 cent change !!! When finally having someone attention no apology for the Waiting!!? Worse bank ever. They should close there door and just have atm service at that branch cause obviously just office people.
I have used this branch for over a year for my business needs and I have found them to be very helpful courteous and friendly in all my interactions with them. Grace Neilson and Chris have both been amazing and have made banking so easy for us. Thank you guys and keep up the great work!
Their ATM is in the common area of the building which is locked out after office hours. What's the point of having an ATM that customers can't access after hours?
