I am a doctor from Melbourne and I have been a loyal customer of BOQ specialist bank for more than 8 years. The service used to be very good. But over the last one year the service has fallen down to pathetic level and also the BOQ specialist Group credit management has started harassing me to pay money which is not due. Every month you get a credit card printed statement which mentions the minimum payment to be made on 25th of every month and any money overdue as well. My statement mentions about no overdue amount, but the minimum amount to pay on 25 th February 2021. But I start getting calls from 10th of February and also emails asking me to pay the interest calculated for previous month immediately which they say is overdue. The caller talks in an intimidating manner and asks me to tell an immediate date when I will pay the interest. They make you feel like an indecent person who doesn't pay on time. I tried to explain politely that the statement says there is no overdue amount and I have time until 25 th of February to pay. But they don't listen and will email and call you again to harass saying payment is overdue. I had complained about the same issue in last December to the Customer service and an Officer named Benjamin rang me and apologised. He said that I have time until 25 th of every month to pay the minimum amount due as mentioned in the Bank statement. But this month the drama starts again - intimidating phone calls and emails to pay immediately. I have complained to Australian Financial Complaints Authority today about the BOQ specialist harassing me for payment which is not due. Please be cautious when dealing with this bank. They are nasty to deal with.

I have been dealing with banks for over 25 years of my life. I have never been so frustrated and disappointed with any bank, ever!. BOQ processes seem designed to make everything as tedious as possible. It's not about security because all banks need to have secure processes but no other bank is so irritating to deal with. For example, I have not been receiving any credit card statements in the post or by email or any notifications that I have a new credit card statement available on line, with the result that I unaware that I have been accumulating interest payments for the last three months. I can't continue banking with BOQ any longer.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH BOQ WAS SHOCKING...THE WORST BANK IN THE COUNTRY! I Cant say ENOUGH bad things about them. All smiles, charms and willingness to get you in there then they put a bullet between your eyes! Shame on you BOQ!! I find it hard to even give them 1 star
