DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! MEDIOCRE FOOD, TINY PORTIONS FOR THE AMOUNT YOU’RE PAYING. We ordered a chicken pad Thai and Cantonese chow Mein, with one beer and one iced tea. The total was $50!!! What in the world!!!! They don’t give you a receipt for your order and the prices going in are not shown. I couldn’t believe I paid $50 for two dishes and they literally felt like appetizers. My bf got the Cantonese chow Mein, when we picked up the order from the counter I literally stood there because I though the noodles were coming separately because the bowl was SO SMALL! Also, I asked for no bean sprouts in my pad Thai and the girl who took my order didn’t seem to understand, so she asked the cook and he just looked at me and said something in their language then the girl said okay to me. GUESS WHAT! My pad Thai has bean sprouts in it.... I didn’t want to complain but what if I was allergic to it BAD SERVICE SMALL PORTIONS OVER PRICED MEDIOCRE FOOD you’re better off eating subway next door, which is what crossed my mind after my meal.
Didn’t have a good experience here. There wasn’t really any service when we had dinner here. You’ll order at the counter and sit yourself down. When the chef use the bell and hear the “ding”, you’re supposed to pick up the food yourself. We had no idea until the cleaning person, who was really nice, told us to pick up our food. You get your own water, utensils and napkins from the counter. We ordered teriyaki beef and general tso’s chicken. The beef was stirred fired with soy sauce and lots lots of bean sprouts. It wasn’t really teriyaki. And the general tso’s chicken was average. We tipped at the counter but didn’t receive any service or even any explanation, except for the friendly cleaning person, who I don’t think would get the tip. Wouldn’t want to go back for average food and unfriendly service. The two stars are for the beautiful Chinese decor inside of the restaurant and the nice cleaning person.

Maybe they just did not want to serve us cos we were there only customer at 3 in the afternoon, but their food was bad. They didnt seem to put any seasoning on the yang chow. The shrimp looked like they just finish thawing it and dunked it in the rice. The szechuan beef was bad as well. It looked like mixed precooked noodles and meat and just slathered it with sauce from a bottle. The roll tasted weird too. We were really hungry so no choice. Rice and soy sauce would have been a better option. If an asian does not approve of asian food, it means something man. Probably serious.
Ordered spicy beef curry with coconut cream. That is NOT what I got. Food portion was extremely small. For this price point, it was not enough for 1 adult person. Service was terrible. Restaurant asks for tips and you have to pick up your own food along with your tray and utensils, and order up front. One of the restaurant staff was drinking alcohol on the way out. This is the kind of service you’re getting. Were they drunk when they were cooking the food? If you want to waste your time and money, go here.

Stopped by here for lunch. Baifoo Express is located next to Subway. Lunch specials hours from 11 am until 4:30 pm. The food is cheaper during this hour. Pick a protein and style of cooking and it comes with rice or noodles and egg roll or spring roll. It is very much a self serve place so you have to wait and pick up your food yourself. Quick service. And the food was ok (ordered Yu Xiang tofu with rice and spring roll)

I was in town last summer and came in here to grab some lunch. When I stepped into the establishment, the chef was *ridiculously rude* and barked at me to move inside. Had I not been in a rush to get some food, I would have left immediately. The food itself was mediocre (I got the fried rice). If he can't even get a fried rice right, then he should discontinue that attitude... he's no Gordon Ramsay. In brief, this place is not worth your time/money.
Food was mediocre. Portions extremely small and they don’t even fill the containers anywhere near full. What was very frustrating was we didn’t get everything we ordered. We got home and we were missing several items. We called back and they tried claiming we didn’t get charged for it (newsflash: not true) even though we specifically asked the girl to repeat our order when we were in the store. Wouldn’t go back unless it’s our only option.
I ordered the Yuxiang chicken which has 4 small pieces of chicken and LOTS of vegetables! The taste was not great either. Quantity was very very less and it’s all self service. I would NEVER go here again and recommend the same. They never gave a fortune cookie too, what kind of Chinese restaurant is this?!!!

Deliciously spicy vegetables. Great General Tao chicken. Lovely clean restaurant. No service didn't bother us, good tradeoff for delicious food.

Very nice restaurant at an affordable price. Our entire team dropped in unexpectedly one night and the owners were super gracious and handled our orders without any mistakes, and got us what we needed (drinks, etc.) without long waits. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice too.
Old fashioned Chinese restaurant with good food. Batter on General Tao was crispy and not too heavy. The Szechuan beef was genuinely spicy. You don't come here for the service. But the prices are not inflated and while the food is not haute cuisine, it is very tasty
Choosing this restaurant is a mistake. If you have to eat there, be aware that there will be no service at. But you will be prompted to tip when paying upfront. If you are hungry, however, go to the next-door Subway where satisfaction is guaranteed. More
During festival they put their prices up and served very small portions. Place was messy. Had to serve ourselves. Nothing cosy about this place. No service. Unable to order many items on their menu. Like Chinese fast food.
Nice place. Great food. Very very clean. The workers cleaned and organized non stop. We came at a quiet time and they were working so hard. The whole family including children. We were very happy that we came here.

Delicious Chinese home style food and reasonable price! Good location, in downtown. The owners don’t talk much but courteous. My friend from Montreal and I had a nice dîner here the day before.
I loved it! I was well greeted, the food came hot and I was pleased to see that the cooks didn't put any MSG in their dishes. Definitely going back as soon as I have a chance. Great restaurant!
I'm Chinese and this is the Worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. Tofu is hard like a rock. Meal is extremely expensive. Never gonna come back again and never will recommend to friends.
It is not to bad, but overpriced, small portions and unfriendly staff.

Not recommended. Really rude and very poor communication skills. Ordered 6 dishes but only allowed 4 plastic forks. Asking about a specific menu she was reluctant to explain.
Very fast and big portion for affordable price, very good presentation, the pad Thai with chicken was really good. The sauce was a bit sweet. The staff is nice! More
The food was just okay, but portions were small. The services weren’t friendly and you get your own food. The interior decors were nice so overall two stars.
I enjoyed a savory lunch here. Service is quick and decent. The general Taos chicken is the best I've ever had. Overall great place to get an oriental bite.
Incredible food, bit expensive. But everyone is expensive in this ECONOMY. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent General Tao, Pad Thai, and chicken peanut sauce. Excellent portions and fresh food. Going back tomorrow!
Very nice service and atmosphere, homestyle Chinese cooking upon request! Good Thai and Vietnamese options too.
Food was good a reasonably priced. It sets just around the corner from the restaurants on the main drag.
Very good food for a small price. Service is quick and the fortune cookies actually taste good!
Rude service, below average food.

Typical Chinese food, self service restaurant. The food is fresh and have a good taste.
Classic Chinese food, a bit more expensive than other places. Good service, good food.
Went on Saturday October 28 @7pm and the restaurant was closed. Maybe out of business?
very bad food for the price, very bad service and you have to pay to get the food.
Always a good place to eat! Everything dish is flavorful and the kitchen is clean
Asked about Mapo Toufu but the chef answered very impatiently with no.
Great food, great service. Good looking place and very clean. No msg.
The food was great, location was perfect and i like the rice noodle!
it's my go to when I need to eat on grande allée. love this place!!
