Bala Hissar, also spelt Bala Hisar, is a historic fortress located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. First mentioned by 7th-century explorer Xuanzang, the fort was used as a royal residence for the Durrani Empire since December 1747, when Ahmad Shah Durrani conquered Peshawar.

It's sooo beautiful and the entire place is soo historic... It makes for an entire experience... I went there on a Sunday afternoon so the whole place was quite busy... But it was still a great place to be.. Take a selfie stick along.. You will surely want to click loads of pictures

The main entrance to the fort of Golconda. Made very strong with a curtain wall protection from outside to prevent enemies finding the entrance gates. From here sounds will reflect upto darbar hall atop the fort. Nagina bagh and other important places follows from this entrance.

It is just a gateway through which a narrow road passes, it might of historical significance but there nothing to see about in the place. You can see from the photo I in uploading with this. You pass through this gate while going towards Golconda fort from Hitech city area.
