Today was my first time at Balanced Soul. The location is convenient, the ambiance is inviting to every sense. I felt calm and relaxed as soon as I walked in the door. I had an 80 minute massage and hydrafacial w/dermaplane. Benny was my massage therapist, he was friendly and professional. I requested deep tissue and some focused work on my knee, upper and lower back. He consulted with me before we got started and was able to accommodate all of my requests. He has a great touch and is able to provide intense work without crossing the threshold into wincing pain. His process is methodical while simultaneously intuitive. I felt very refreshed when I got up off the table. I am female and he was careful to keep me appropriately covered without any awkward moments. I appreciate his professionalism. Wendy was my aesthetician, and she was also very friendly and professional. I had booked the hydrafacial but had interest in adding the dermaplane as well, she explained that these two services pair very well and the pricing to me was reasonable. She started with the dermaplane and left no dead skin cell in her wake. She always cleaned her hands and my face after each step throughout the facial. The equipment and products are obviously high quality and Wendy has a lovely touch. After the dermaplaning she used the hydrafacial equipment which through the use of water, and suction removes impurities from the skin. We finished with a cooling, hydrating mask and I left with my hyperpigmentation significantly reduced on my forehead and my skin is soft, supple and glowing when I left. Every person providing services wore a mask, and that made me feel at ease during these up close services during this spike with Covid. I was asked after my services were performed if I wanted to relax in massaging chairs with a glass of champagne (the manager explained that patrons are free to arrive early or leave later and enjoy a glass of wine or champagne in their massage chairs). I did not partake this time, but am looking forward to it for next time. I highly recommend Balanced Soul Wellness and am expecting to become a regular client.

I booked couples massage and I'm at a loss for words for what happened yesterday. I experience chronic pain in my neck, back and left shoulder so I always request deep tissue. I was scheduled with Travis (don't walk but run if they schedule you with him). I explained my requests to him and once the massage began, he never used adequate pressure or skillful technique with his hands despite me gently asking for more pressure multiple times. Once this man even started doing the karate chopping technique which is not supposed to be part deep tissue. It felt like an amateur Swedish massage, at best. When he was sick of me asking for more pressure I guess, he then used his elbow to push me so hard that the entire massage table moved startling myself, my partner and the other therapist. When I said "are you serious?" He yelled "what do you want me to do? I gave you more pressure, find someone else to massage you!" and storned out. This was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had at a spa. I have anxiety and some ptsd, and this interaction has severly triggered me at a time when I needed relaxation the most. It took me a whole day to even calm down enough to write this review. Joyce who was massaging my partner was an angel. She swooped in for the remainder of the time to try to ease my pain, she did great work for the short time we had, though the vibe was already destroyed and this left my partner without a therapist for that time. I was refunded, so I can appreciate that the business tried to make it right but I couldn't help but leave an honest review, I don't want anyone making the same mistake I did with taking a chance on Travis. ***Edit/Update: I find it interesting that the owner will go out of their way to comment on every good review, but has not contacted me or acknowledged me after my terrible experience here. What's with that? Do yall just ignore the bad experiences as if they never happened? Because I'm still having nightmares and wish I could forget as easily.

I was interested in xeomin injections but as someone who has never done anything like that I had tons of questions, I mean an annoyingly amount of questions! The staff at balanced soul wellness took the time to answer every question I had and did it with a smile all the while helping me get to a point where I was comfortable, confident, and educated enough go through with the injections. During the injection process and even leading up to it, Laura the injector was extremely helpful at putting my nerves at ease (I have always been scared of needles). Laura took the time to explain where the injections are going, why, and what will happen after. Not my greatest moment but I nearly passed out from nerves after the first few shots. Laura was extremely aware to what was happening and gave me a snack, water, and some time to collect myself. After I felt better the artist Laura went back to work knocking out my well earned wrinkles. I know I may not be an expert on all this but I can assure you as somebody that was new to all of this the level of care, time and effort they put into helping me understand and come to a comfortable decision will be unmatched by any other company. Now for the results simply stated: Better than I expected by a long shot!! prior to coming in did a fair amount of research and looked at 100's of before and after photos. Personally I feel like google was discouraging because the results from the treatment did so much more for me than I could of imagined based on the examples google was giving me. 10 out of 10!! I will recommend Balanced Soul wellness to anybody and everybody, seasoned med spa vets or beginners like me. this is a place you want to check out first because I promise you wont have a need to go anywhere else.

I saw Benny a few weeks ago after getting cancelled on by another practice, and I don't think I'll ever go back to my old massage therapist. This was the first time I've ever received a massage from a man and he could tell that it was a little uncomfortable at first, and he went above and beyond in getting me to relax and turning me into a limp noodle. Not only was his personality great, but he took the time to get to know what my problem areas were and what caused them. He even was frank about how the time limit of our first appointment wouldn't allow him to work on everything all at once, so we opted to focus on the worst points of discomfort as opposed to rushing through everything on our first session. He constantly communicates with you to make sure that the pressure is right and that you're breathing properly, then walks you through some aftercare steps to ensure that you receive the full benefits of the service. Benny is someone who very clearly cares about his craft. As someone who struggles to find a massage therapist that can apply enough pressure to get deep into my problem areas, this was the best deep tissue massage I've had and I'll absolutely be coming back.

The ladies at this spa are awesome! From the moment you walk in the door, you are met with a friendly face from one of their staff. I was looking for a place that did lash extensions and it’s hard to find someone who really knows what they are doing. Emily did my lashes and she has a client for life with me. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my lashes, and they look incredibly natural, she has a real talent for lashes. The list of services they offer doesn’t stop at lashes and I also have been getting facials and chemical peels here as well. My esthetician’s name was Melissa and she was great! I had never had one before, so I was a little nervous. Melissa was so knowledgeable and took the time to sit with me and talk me through the different kinds of peels and what series would be best for me personally. I have had 3 so far, 3 to go, and I’m loving the results I’m seeing so far! Balanced Wellness gives you a high end spa feeling, while still maintaining very reasonable prices for all of their services. They are always offering some sort of special, or package and you can tell they genuinely love to do what they do!

I have gastroparesis and severe nausea during PMS. Sometimes, I get very dehydrated from vomiting and can't rehydrate very quickly because of the gastroparesis. My husband forced me to go get an IV, but I really did not want to wait for 4 hours at the ER and spend 1,000 bucks. Thankfully, I found Balanced Soul Wellness. Their price for an IV is competitive with other IV therapy places in the area, and I would choose them over other places because of the staff and calming environment. As long as their price doesn't go up, I will be going back and recommending it to other people. They do cosmetic procedures as well as waxing and nails, too! EDIT: I've gotten very dehydrated multiple times before. I start having a feeling of doom and unable to keep my mouth or eyes moist. I was feeling dizzy standing up, but not passing out. Please don't go here as a substitute for getting checked by a Dr. If you have been sicker than having a stomach flu or take medications that mess with electrolytes, go to the ER.

I had the most wonderful experience at BSW! Benny made my first massage ever an incredible experience. He was kind, thorough, made sure I relaxed when I wasn't, and most importantly made me feel comfortable and completely at ease. I felt like a brand new person afterwards! Wendy gave an excellent facial! She talked me through each of the products she used, explained each step as she went, explained my specific skincare needs to me and made the experience relaxing, lighthearted and fun Stacy did my spa mani Pedi and was so fun to talk to and let me do my thing while she got my toes and fingers looking pretty! She also gave me some tips about Pedi care that I don't normally get when I go to other places for a mani/Pedi The atmosphere was relaxing and trendy looking and I left feeling like ten million bucks. My body hasn't felt this good in a long time. I can't wait to come back and highly recommend you try this place out! You won't regret it.

Oh my gosh, where to even begin... First of all, the online booking process was very user friendly, and there were a variety of times that were offered. When I got there, there were spacious parking spots directly in front that were reserved, which was nice having the location in San Marco. The decor felt absolutely magical! I felt like I was in an enchanted rainforest. I was immediately greeted and given water while I filled out my form. The staff are extremely friendly, even those who I didn't have appointment with smiled and greeted me in passing. I experienced my massage with Benny, who is all together caring, skilled, and personable. I came in and exhausted teacher in the midst of pre-planning for the school year and I came out feeling like a completely different person. While I'm financially unable to commit to a membership, I will most definitely be back!

Went in for a lash lift and had a wonderful experience with Emily! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. One of the many things that impressed me was that Emily took the time to ask how much curl I was looking for and how dramatic I would like my results... for a lift! Not extensions! Amazing! The actual service was very gentle (no tugging trying to get the pads or rods off!!) which was better than any other lash lift I’ve had. The final result is exactly what I had in mind! I also went back for B-12 supplementation. They are awesome! They worked me in on short notice and I was done in less than 10 minutes. They are super nice and put me completely at ease, best of all I barely felt it. I’m a believer

Everyone here was friendly, but the quality of service was subpar and, unfortunately, not worth the money. For example, I got a massage where they hardly used any oil, and I felt like the masseuse was trying to scrub me with their fingers, and I got a pedicure by someone who barely knew how to file nails and had to have another nail tech shape my nails. The ambiance is nice, but I wouldn't consider this a wellness center as they encourage drinking rose beverages before and after massages when hydration should be the focus. Overall, they were overpriced and amateur skilled to perform 'wellness' tasks on their clients. Therefore, I would not recommend getting any services completed at this place.

Balanced Soul Wellness has a great atmosphere. You feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. I’ve only been in for massages. Victoria is amazing! Every time I’ve gotten a massage from her, I have had major improvements in my chronic pain areas. She takes her time, is communicative, and is invested in the well-being of her clients. I also have to give a shout out to Kenya- she has been at the front desk the last couple of times I’ve been in and she is so sweet- she even walked me to my car with an umbrella when the sky fell out after my massage last night! There seems to be a great team here and I wouldn’t hesitate to try other services in the future. The location is super convenient too.

I’ve never done Reiki massage before and it’s been on my list to do! My best friend who lives in San Diego CA called all over Jacksonville to massage places to surprise me with a GC for my birthday. When she called Balanced Soul Wellness and spoke to Victoria she knew she found the right spot! She said that her energy was amazing and she was so helpful answering her questions about the process of the whole Reiki massage. So I booked my appointment for today, everyone is extremely friendly and Victoria was AMAZING! She explained the whole process to me and was gracious throughout the whole process! I will definitely be doing more work with her and I am so happy I came! ❤️

Great place I love it so much! For a long time I suffered numbness in my left leg , it’s because of my way of standing, walking and even sitting and it was part of my life for the past few years ! Victoria did a great job without even me asking or mentioning that numbness! It took just one time of a great message for that leg to suddenly notice the improvement! In general, Victoria is very professional and nice and for a few months now message even helped a lot in a positive way giving me a lot of relax and in too many ways of healing from and anxiety and stress! Excellent massage by Benny, thank you! He was very thorough, explained different options for service, listened to what my needs were, and delivered. The front desk staff was super friendly and kind, and entertained all my questions as I reviewed the list of services offered. The ambiance is relaxing, the decor, both in the waiting area as well as in the massage room set the tone for peace, relaxation, and wellness. Afterwards it was a treat to spend a few minutes listening to birds in the relaxation room before leaving. It was my first time here and I will definitely be back.

Victoria was professional, kind and completely attuned to pain relieving techniques!! She helped my lower back pain go away almost entirely and so quickly. SO AMAZING!!! I’ll definitely be back to have her continued help. Wendy gave a wonderful facial!! Listened to my concerns and explained items she found while performing the facial! Great advice to keep my skin looking fresh and bright!! Lily was helpful and kind during my spray tan as well!! She’s explained what I needed to know about the spray tan. It’sa beautiful natural beachy bronze color and EVEN!! Great team here!!!

My first visit here was a gift booking for the 80 minute deep tissue massage. Genevieve was my therapist and she very pleasant and answered all of my questions. I have a shoulder injury and she was very gentle with the area. I would recommend this place. The only area that I would recommend changes to, would be cleaning the waiting area rug, turning down the scents at the check-in/out area, and cleaning the overhead vent in the bathroom. Not that any of these things were horrible or bothered me. I was previously a maid and I tend to notice every thing.

Stumbled across this place and so glad that I did! A soothing atmosphere and gracious staff always checking to make sure I was comfortable was refreshing. Started off with a massage with Benny and he tailored it exactly to my needs and expertly showed my problem areas who was boss. After that was a hydra facial with Wendy and I'm certain my face has not been that clean and glowy in a long time. I finished with a mani/pedi with Wendy, who had me laughing the whole time, and then left wishing I could do this every week. Very nice experience.

I had Victoria for an 80 minute massage and Lily for a 50 minute facial, both were amazing. First, the building had a very calm and beautiful ambiance and decoration; everyone there were very nice and friendly. Victoria was considerate and understanding. She had good pressure, was ok with working in silence but also made good conversation. Lily was great, gentle hands and light pressure, when she extracted my blackheads it didn't feel like she was impaling me lmao. Overall I would definitely recommend the experience and these girls!

So if you’re always dehydrated and you wanna lose weight or you want Just want flawless skin. But you hate taking vitamins or supplements so you can have your hair grow. Then you need to come to this place they have IV therapy. Some people really don’t know that this is beneficial for a lot of people. Another thing is it’s a great way to take care of your body. I have used the place for for my very first fillers with great results. Lots of people were complimenting my “natural” lips lol I’ve had a facials done as well with Bri, who was amazing at explaining my skin type and causes of my breakouts. Every-time I go, I get offered something to drink and it I have to wait at all, I’m sitting with my feet up in the luxury massage chairs. I leave every time feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Thank you Bri, Kellie & all the Balanced Soul Staff who is always nice and professional.

Victoria was the massage therapist that took care of me. And after explaining some of my concerns to her, she was super understanding and extremely considerate throughout the massage. This is one of San Marco's hidden gems tucked back next to the good dough. The staff is amazing. My daughter and I had a wonderful spa day to celebrate her birthday! I love the dark, quiet, and peaceful atmosphere. It is unlike the salons I visited in South Florida that were bright and a little more clinical in their approach. This wonder oasis gives off a more natural vibe. Both my daughter's and my massage therapists were professional and amazing. I totally recommend Balance Soul Wellness. I will be back.

The customer service was excellent and professional. The establishment is welcoming and very clean. My service was clearly explained to me and you can tell the staff care about their clients. My best friend and I went today to celebrate my 40th birthday and got a facial with Wendy and a deep tissue massage with Kenny! Both were amazing!!! My face feels clean and refreshed and Kenny was able to work the knots out of my neck and shoulders, which is exactly what I asked of him!! The spa was so cute and peaceful! I get my spray tans here by Kellie. There is a lot of flexibility with appointments that accommodate my schedule. She is quick, efficient & the results are awesome & long lasting! You can easily squeeze in on a lunch break and be ready for your event that evening! While waiting for my appt, I hang out in the IV room in the massage chairs. Who knew getting a spray tan would turn into an experience?! HIGHLY recommend!

What a hidden gem in Jax! I booked a massage and facial for my birthday and enjoyed it so much. Benni literally gave me the best massage that I have ever had and I have had massages all over the country. i am going to book right now. Wendy gave me a great facial as well. She didn't cut any corners. The overall spa treatment was relaxing and the host were very attentive. This is my new fave place.

I've gotten the Swedish full body massages a couple times. I really enjoy coming here for services! The location is great, the staff are kind, and most importantly I feel really good after my massages. Most recently, I had my husband join me for his first massage. He works a physically demanding job, and he was happy with how his back felt afterward. You'll be treated well here!

Had a birthday celebration with a spa day for 5 friends. Treatments were excellent but they put two together in a room which is uncomfortable. Slso $50/person lunch was ridiculous! $50 total would be more appropriate for sandwiches, cheese/crackers, fruit/vegetables. We brought in the dessert.

Love to support this local business. Well-run and welcoming all round. Massage therapist Benny Ball is excellent and also offers tips and techniques for maintaining that level of relaxation between sessions too. Wendy Elder provides excellent facials and skincare advice. Highly recommended.

A friend of mine recommended I see Bryanna for lash extensions. I am very pleased with my lashes and my whole experience at Balanced Soul Wellness. Bryanna did a fantastic job on my lashes and I love the atmosphere there - it's very chill and relaxing. I will return and i highly recommend.

I bought a mother’s day package that my mom just used now and She loved the facial and massage!!!! She also had mani and pedi that was ok. But definitely we come back for massage and facial services.

I don't recommend gift cards here. They have a 1-year expiration and will not honor any amount if it's past the 1 year mark. I would have happily taken 50% of the worth, but they refused even that.
