My recent dining experience at Baltaire Restaurant in Los Angeles was an extraordinary culinary adventure, offering an exquisite blend of upscale dining, impeccable service, and a sophisticated ambiance that made it a truly memorable evening with my family. Upon arriving at Baltaire Restaurant, the grand and elegant exterior immediately set the tone for a luxurious dining experience. The restaurant's opulent decor, with its tasteful chandeliers, plush seating, and stylish bar area, created an upscale and inviting setting perfect for a special occasion. The menu at Baltaire showcased a tempting array of delectable dishes, featuring premium steaks, fresh seafood, and other refined culinary delights. After much contemplation, our family decided to try their signature "Dry-Aged Ribeye Steak," their "Lobster Bisque," and their "Grilled Asparagus" as a side. The Dry-Aged Ribeye Steak was an absolute masterpiece. Cooked to perfection, the tender and flavorful ribeye showcased the exquisite taste of dry-aged beef, which had been skillfully prepared to enhance its richness and depth of flavor. It was a true testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs at Baltaire. The Lobster Bisque was a creamy and indulgent treat. The velvety bisque, brimming with succulent lobster meat and delicate flavors, provided a luxurious and satisfying start to the meal. The Grilled Asparagus was a delightful accompaniment to the main course. The tender asparagus spears, lightly seasoned and grilled to perfection, offered a refreshing and healthy addition to the meal. To complement our dishes, we received exceptional wine pairing suggestions from our waitress, Emily, whose knowledge and passion for wine truly elevated our dining experience. Her attentive and friendly service made us feel welcomed and well-cared-for throughout the evening. The attentiveness of the entire staff at Baltaire was commendable, from the hostess who greeted us warmly upon arrival to the servers who ensured that every detail of our dining experience was flawless. In conclusion, Baltaire Restaurant in Los Angeles is a fine dining gem that delivers an extraordinary culinary journey. With its delectable dishes, upscale ambiance, and top-notch service, it's an ideal spot for celebrating special occasions or indulging in a luxurious meal with loved ones. Whether you're a connoisseur of premium steaks or appreciate refined dining experiences, Baltaire promises an unforgettable evening of culinary excellence. Prepare to be pampered and delighted in the elegant surroundings of Los Angeles.

I recently dined at Baltaire and I must say that my experience was nothing short of distressing and painful. It is with great disappointment that I write this review, detailing the unfortunate incident that occurred, resulting in a permanent burn mark on my finger. I would strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution and reconsider visiting this establishment. From the very beginning, the lack of attention to customer safety was apparent. As I eagerly awaited my meal, the restaurant staff brought the food to the table without providing any warning about the scorching hot plate. Without being informed about the plate's temperature, I unknowingly reached out to touch it, only to suffer a severe burn on my finger. To make matters worse, the injury sustained during this incident has left me with a permanent burn mark that will not heal. This is a clear indication of the severity of the burn, and it is extremely distressing to know that my dining experience has resulted in a lifelong reminder of the negligence displayed by the staff at Baltaire. While accidents can happen in any restaurant, it is the responsibility of the establishment and its staff to prioritize customer safety. In this case, the lack of warning about the hot plate was a serious oversight, and it has left me with physical and emotional trauma. The fact that the burn mark will not heal only adds to my frustration and disappointment. Moreover, I would have expected the restaurant to take immediate action and show genuine concern for my well-being. Unfortunately, their response was lackluster at best. The staff showed no remorse for their failure to warn me about the dangerous plate, and their disregard for customer safety is both alarming and disheartening. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against dining at Baltaire. The complete disregard for customer safety, coupled with the permanent injury I suffered, has left me deeply dissatisfied. I believe it is crucial for any restaurant to prioritize the well-being of its patrons, and Baltaire has failed miserably in this regard. I hope this review serves as a warning to others considering dining here. It is crucial to prioritize your safety and be aware of the potential risks associated with dining at establishments that display such negligence.
Baltaire was the site of our most recent bros dinner. Nothing like a good bros dinner. As Michael Scott once said, "Bros before hos. Why? Because your bros are always there for you. They have got your back after your ho rips your heart out for no good reason." The 3 bros sat down in the beautiful open air patio on a nice evening with no humidity. Gotta love LA. The feng shui in here is immaculate, as it just feels like a completed space with no clutter. Everything is as it should be. First and foremost, I need to shout out our waiter Jose. He was JOKES! Engaging with our un-witty banter and humor, just a good people person overall. He also had some great recommendations for wine and food, URGING us to get the octopus as a starter and what a fantastic call it was. Jose even played along with us as we asked what wine he recommended when we were just going to get the cheapest one anyway ahahahaha. We are on the come up but the bros aren't there yet! For starters, we went with the aforementioned octopus, the tuna tartare, and a mix of west/east coast oysters. I'm biased but west coast oysters are LIKE THAT. Apps were fantastic, no misses there. For mains, 2 of the bros got the filet mignon and one got his RARE like a psychopath. He dug his heels in the sand and said that at a good steakhouse you should always order rare. I couldn't disagree more, but this type of civil discourse is what pushes our society forward. He also grew up on a sheep farm so maybe he does have a bit more credibility than me... I always ask for affogato for dessert even though it's rarely on any menu and, much to my chagrin, most times they say they can't do it. Jose met my request with a furrowed brow, light smile, and a quick head nod while saying "Of course" in a tone as confident as Floyd Mayweather when talking about any potential opponent. THANK YOU JOSE THAT AFFOGATO SLAPPED. After dinner, the bros hopped in an uber and ended up playing Super Smash Bros and Rocket League into the wee hours of the night. A true bros night.

So I had a fantastic experience I Baltaire the selection of drinks is second to none the selection of meats is absolutely stunning the only thing they did not do good is the oysters other than that all 12 out of 13 dishes we had where fantastic. By the way I have to share a story of something that happened to me while I was eating so they bring me my main course a porterhouse steak. Prior to that they bring fresh plates for everybody all the plates were clean apart from mine it was full of stains. So I'm looking at it and before I say anything the waiter goes don't worry that's steak sauce I turn around look at him puzzled then I looked back down at my plate and I'm like this is not steak sauce. So I proceeded to touch those spots on the plate only to discover that the guy had brought me dirty filthy plate so once he returns I asked him to please bring me a fresh plate and with an attitude he removes the plate from in front of me and he leaves shouting okay. Now his response according to mine was completely out of place so once he returned with the fresh plate I proceeded on to telling him thank you for bringing me the new plate and next time please reserve your attitude for your wife when you get home. Obviously I was being sarcastic and again with Attitude he turned around to me and he said okay I will. Now the funny thing is I told our waiter the waiter went and called the general manager and they sent the waiter home I have to say this says a lot about this restaurant that they care about their clients and they can be reassured that I will return many times and I will bring all my friends and I will recommend to all my friends to go there. Other than that our waiter Johan from Sweden recommended only the best for us and I'm happy that we listened to his recommendations.
Restaurant is really beautiful, no doubt about that. I do have an issue with the food and service. We ordered a bunch of apps and when asked about what kind of cheese the lobster mac and cheese had, I was greeted with an inquisitive look of not knowing and that it was just cheese. Not all of our apps came out with our meal and we’re still left on the bill at the end. Instead of removing the charge, we inquired and let them know the risotto never came out and they were surprised. They just did a negative charge and left the risotto on the itemized receipt, thus, taxes and tip were still being calculated off of the old total versus a new grand total (all food minus risotto cost). It just seemed like a lazy way of trying to fix half the problem. Finally, to highly level of service here, my wife had a half filled sprite that our server came and filled with water. We told her it was sprite and she just apologized and walked away. The sprite was still on our bill and we weren’t even offered a new drink. We just wanted to go home once we realized this was still there and just paid the cost of the sprite. Again, it’s not the $6 sprite that was the issue, just the errors and not wanting to fix it. I did get a bone in rib eye and enjoyed it with the house sauce.

One of the best restaurants and dinners that I have had in the Brentwood area and surrounding. The design on the inside is really beautiful, open, and very well done. Suitable for any almost occasion from very formal to business casual. I dine out for food and drink exclusively and don’t really care about celebrity sightings, but we saw two very famous celebrities at different, unrelated tables tonight so it’s a very interesting, diverse, and delicious place to have a dinner. Our server Lisa did a wonderful job as well. For my starter I chose the Grilled Artichokes, because that’s a seasonal favorite for me, and really enjoyed these and ate every bit. For my entrée I chose the Center Cut Filet Mignon 10oz and loved it. It was cooked perfectly and was warm the entire time I ate it. Finally for dessert we chose the Bourbon Croissant Bread Pudding which was deliciously sweet and a great end to the meal. Overall a terrific dinner and I would suggest to anyone for any occasion. They also have two large private dining rooms near the kitchen so it would be great for a work function as well.

I attended a corporate dinner with 25 people so my experience was not your traditional dinning event. I think sometimes rating or reviewing Michelin stared restaurants is a little dicey. I mean a professional Michelin person went here and decided it was worthy of a star what is a normal dinner like me going to add? Anyway very nice restaurant, great food from what I was exposed to, I would like to go back and experience a traditional dinner at some point we had a limited menu. I ordered an Old Fashion Cocktail that had a smoked glass which if you like Old Fashions was a nice touch. Rib eye steak was what I expected from this type of establishment sides were also very nice. The service was spot on even with a larger party they had additional staff help service so everyone had their meals down within about a minute of each other. These are the little nuances that make a good restaurant great. If you have the means to try this place I doubt you will be disappointed. Disclaimer, don't go here if you have a budget, it's a little expensive...... :-)

Great food, service, and location. Room is very open, with tables spaced for intimacy. Very attractive bar area as well. We arrived for a late lunch and there was only a small crowd. Greg took amazing care of us, being very attentive and accommodating. Everything we had was outstanding! Started with the Biratta with heirloom tomatoes. For our entrée we had the steak sandwich and a special, a ribeye medallion and shared an order of Brussel sprouts. Dude - this was the best Brussel sprouts we've ever had. Desert was a bourbon croissant bread pudding with homemade croissants, and a butter scotch pot de creme - a multilayed flan type dessert. Greg made a great recommendation on a dry Riesling that the wife very much enjoyed. This is a great place. Very happy we found this place, and would strongly recommend it.

We are so fortunate to have this amazing place just a few minutes away from home. When we think about celebration, Baltaire is one of our favorite places. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. The atmosphere is elegantly charming, the ambiance is lovely with soft enchanting music, the service we received is efficient and excellent, and the staff genuinely cares about our experience. They made us feel welcomed and gave us great recommendations, truly a memorable time we had here. Fantastic cocktails, delicious food, and delightful desserts. Wine menu is extensive and curated particularly high standards. I am pleased with the overall experience here, from stunning presentation, interior design of dining venue, cleanliness, to the warmth & attentiveness of the people. My partner and I love this restaurant and would be happy to come back here again and again. Thank you for having us!

Phenomenal food and service. Even during the pandemic where most restaurant service vanished, baltaire kept up the service to top notch. Food is excellent. Great jumbo shrimp cocktail. All the meat/steaks are amazing. One of my favorite burgers as well. And the drinks are great. Whenever I make it to Brentwood I come to baltaire if I can. The front manager KC is super friendly and hospitality. Makes you feel like a regular each time you come. 10/10. Edit: came for lunch the other day and had the Banh Mi steak sandwich. I had to give a review. This sandwich which was incredible. Lunch at baltaire is such a great menu but I hope they keep this on the menu since it’s new. It was so good! Edit 2: back for lunch again today 7/8/22…had the crispy chicken sandwich and WOWWWW. Best. Chicken. Sandwich. Everrr. Step aside honor bar. This was legit the best chicken sandwich I’ve had.
Reservation for 8:15pm, seated at 8:50. Multiple people and groups walked in being seated right away. Yes it was busy, I had to ask the manager what was happening he said they were just busy. One section very loud live music (totally fine and love live music) but it was blaring, we had to scream at each other to have a conversation. Food was great, (never had problems with their menu or food) except that a burger can be ordered at the bar, but not at a table? Also, service; had two servers and they were slammed, but not once were we checked on (we had to flag them down to order more drinks) and the only time they came unsolicited was to give us the bill. I would recommend this restaurant on an off night or before /after the holiday season.

Don’t quite understand where the good reviews come from… The Food is very very MEDIOCRE to be nice. Salmon crispy rice, rice was super hard, lobster Mac and cheese was very bland, we had to dip it in our sauce to give little more flavor. Branzino was small portion and salty. We dipped it in Mac and cheese to make it little better tasting. Drinks were not good, didn’t leave us wanting to order more. The old fashioned tasted like Potpourri and on top of that we told them we had birthday and nothing… for fine dining restaurant I definitely have been to way better places in LA. If it wasn’t for the fact we were there for a birthday, I would have definitely walked out. Also told them twice we had birthday and nothing. would not go again!

Besides the tastiness of the food , this was the worst restaurant I have been to in a long time. I met a friend there on a Thursday night. We walked in and there was a ‘band’ playing. It may as well have been my 4-year old on the drums. The singer was so horrible, the drums were so obnoxiously loud and not in tune with the singer. The noise level was way above any acceptable level and I enjoy live music. This band was so bad. To top it off, the acoustics in a room with such low ceilings was bad as well. The hostess, a tall lady with dark hair was so rude, she acted like she was doing us a favor by talking to us. We won’t be returning to this chaotic atmosphere again.

This place is absolutely great. For the amount of times I’ve been here every time the service and staff is great. They are so friendly. The location is great as it’s in one of the hearts of Brentwood. Its a very fancy restaurant but don’t sweat on wearing jeans and nice clothing because I’ve gone there a lot just in shorts. The presentation is great and I love it. The food is great I always get the burger with fries and a lemonade. Everything is great the fries are amazing with spectacular crunch and amazing flavor the lemonade is lemonade and the burger is always so juicy. This place is always so consistent and that’s why I love it.

Baltaire has an amazing ambience and food. It's a total vibe for a date night or just being out with friends. I had a number of items on the menu including bone in ribeye, lobster risotto, lobster Mac, crab cake, Caesar salad, and sauteed spinach. All were very tasty as well as the old fashioned that I enjoyed prior to dinner. There was live music and people were dancing but also an area away from the lively music. The one setback is parking is an incredible challenge. Street parking hard, valet only takes cash and parking decks are for specific restaurants. By the way Baltaire isn't a restaurant you hit up and try to save a buck. You will pay for the experience. And it was good.

Baltaire aspires to 5-stars, but misses wide at their price point with inconsistent service, stale bread, tons of noise, and small portions. The look and ambience of the place is top notch, but the noise level when it is even a little busy is off the charts. Sashimi was delicious, but small. Sea bass was good, but overcooked and small—such a shame. Broccolini was delicious Service started off strong, but then fell off a cliff. Asked for a bread plate, never got it. Maybe not a huge loss because the bread was stale and they never bothered to refill it. We were a large party, so maybe they are not equipped to handle that ♂️ ?—three stars Facilities (bathrooms) were not well maintained or checked on—two stars
After dining at many steak houses around the world, Baltaire is number one on my list. Reason is how they cook and flavor their steaks. It's not over seasoned which allows you to taste the true flavor of the meat. When you sit at the bar or restaurant there is plenty of room between patrons which gives this a relaxed unwinding feel. The classy decor, attractive patrons and great services makes this my favorite dining location!

Definitely a must! This place is buzzing at dinner time. Its dimly lit but spacious and lively with live jazzy tunes on Friday nights. We reserved one of their rooms for a more intimate experience but could still listen to the live music and enjoy the ambiance. The staff was great and helpful, the room was beautiful with a large wine cellar. The food was exquisite, their specialty drinks were amazing (the Old Fashion was one of the best I’ve tried!), and the dessert did not disappoint. This is the perfect place for a special night out, romantic date, or upscale celebratory gatherings.

I went for the brunch, and it was absolutely amazing the fillet mignon was melting on my tongue, and I cannot forget to mention the cinnamon roll. It smells and tastes like heaven. It was huge so we took it up, and even after warming it up in the mixrowave it was the best abd most fluffy dessert My partner and I loved the drinks that are part of the 85$ menu. We had a reservation for four for dinner. We ordered three appetizers, four main dishes, and two desserts. Our appetizers were phenomenal, including octopus, lollipop lamb, and Caesar salad. However, the filet mignon steaks were dry and not cooked to a medium level. On the other hand, the sea bass was outstandingly delicious. We loved our desserts. All in all, it was a pleasant experience but not outstanding as the price would suggest.

Came here for a Valentine’s Day dinner as I’d heard a lot of great reviews. For starters we had to wait about 10/15 minutes to be seated with reservations and the tables weren’t even that busy. We sat down and I looked through the wine list; very expansive. The food wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. The reviews for this place said otherwise but I just feel like it didn’t live up to its hype. Service was okay but not what I thought it would be. Hopefully you guys have a better dining experience for the price.
My favorite and only place to go to for a steak. Their ribeye is perfection and sides are delicious. The onion rings are huge and the broccolini is so good. Atmosphere is dim, but not too dim. Service is top notch. Servers have knowledge and friendly. Valet parking out front. Worth every penny.

We went to Baltaire to celebrate our anniversary and it was a romantic and memorable one. Above all, the services were excellent. One of the dishes was served late, and our waiter offered us a free dessert for compensation. Food was impeccably delicious. Atmosphere was great!

Went there for my lunch birthday and had a great time in the private room. Thank you Baltaire for making us fill welcome. The food was bomb.
Great service. They had a special, blackened Chilean sea bass tacos. They were awesome. The steak tacos my friend had were just ok. More
Outstanding food, drinks, and service. Offers indoor and outdoor seating is a added benefit. We will definitely be back
You wanna be loud? It's beautiful. It's expensive, but you will see The finer things in life.

Our experience was mediocre at best. The ambience is incredible! Sadly the praise stops there.
The Filet Flight was a dream, as was the Dover Sole. The desserts were fantastic as well.
