Advertising Review - 40% off purchase: 1 out of 5 2019 Feb 27, I walk in and see signs for 40% off purchase everywhere. I shop and head to the the cash register l, and Alat the register they notify me that the traveler pants were not part of it. I tell them that I will not be taking it, and didn't understand why the traveler pants didn't apply. Nice lady at the cash register said it doesn't apply to BR picks. Now I'm totally confused because I see no sign anywhere that traveler pants were a BR Pick. I purchase 1 item. Head towards the exit and see the white sign with the advertisement. I read it and try and make sense of it fully. I see an associate and ask them why, they didn't know so they got the manager. Management Review - Ms. Leut: 1 out of 5 Without hearing me out she came, and told us that the 40% off didn't include traveler pants. I replied "okay, but this is where I'm mislead". She cut me off and said that if the 40% off purchase applied it would be on the shelve where the clothes were, "and I'm not going to give you 40% off because it doesn't have the sign by the product." I interjected and said but how am I suppose to know that they were BR Picks? Then my husband said he would like to return his traveler pants now, she said okay and showed us to the cash register and said someone will help us with that. I wasn't complaining to get 40% off just that Me as a customer don't what items are BR Picks and need to be educated with in store words so I can maximize my spending, and help with providing a misleading solution. This is what I know. I know the associates are brilliant and overly friendly to assist and they are professional! I know I'll be spending traveler pants money at lululemon for their commission pant because it's great and they don't have misleading advertising and a manager that won't listen. My recommendation, to print out signs and post them up say "BR Pick" and in small words "discount may not apply", train the great associates/staff to announce it to customers that certain items will not apply to the misleading advertising, and lastly just listen and hear out people.

Dear God, where do I start with their staff...I'm convinced that they neither do sensitivity training nor customer service etiquette. I had a SA who had no business in my transaction stand over another and stare/eavesdrop on my conversation about whether I wanted their silly credit card or not...she stood there for the whole transaction and stared me full in the face! I guess she was the self designated BR monitor? The others were busy gossiping...while the store was busy with customers! I pulled the manager on the side to speak to him about my experience, and wouldn't you know the nosy sales associates pretended to repack clothes right next to us - and then carried the news to the others!! High school behavior from grown men and women?? Come on, BR. Represent the brand better than that. Sooo disappointed in y'all!

The worst customer service. I ordered two items from Banana Republic online and went to return them in store as they didn’t fit. They were delivered in packaging that had the Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic logos on them. Before I even took any items out of the bag or pulled up my receipts no, the salesperson (elderly white woman with an accent) looked at the bags shook her head and said “No, those aren’t from here.” I don’t know if it’s because I am a person of color or because she thought that I looked poor, but either way, what kind of service is that? I removed the items from the bag and pulled up my receipts and she seemed genuinely shocked that I had actually purchased something from Banana Republic.

In my first two visits to this store, service was quick and efficient. This visit has completely ruined those experiences. With over twelve guests in line for checkout, (at 1:30PM on an unremarkable Thursday,) there are two clerks at the registers, managers come and go - not opening additional registers - while the line grows. It's been over fifteen minutes, and only one guest has advanced through the line, while registers remain closed and available associates and management whiz past. This will be my last visit to this store.

I shopped here in September and was very impressed by one of the managers, I think his name was Mark. He really knew his stuff. He suggested certain sizes based on the cut of each individual item, knew my size just by looking at me, and was very attentive. He tirelessly brought me and my mom different sizes and gave his opinions on which looked better. I don't know if he works on commission, but he earned every penny. So look for Mark, handsome with brown hair, and you'll have an amazing shopping experience.

To clarify, my rating is for the company's products and not for the store - some of the salespeople in this store are quite friendly and helpful! But Banana Republic's clothing quality is going downhill. I used to buy most of my shirts and some business-casual stuff from them, but they haven't been made as well in the last year or two. They're getting holes or small tears within just a few washes (and since I air dry my clothes, it's hard to believe that my washer hates only Banana Republic clothing).

Great shopping experience with good, well informed service and advice. The store is clean and well organized. There's always a corner with some good specials or "final reductions" where one can find surprisingly good deals. If you're shopping while stuff is regularly priced, it's going to be quite expensive, so I advise to wait for promos, etc. Quality of clothing is better than average with certain items even of top notch quality, so try to look for those. Recommended.

Very clean, light, and comfortable shopping floor/environment. Many selections to choose (a way more than the one located at UTC mall). The price especially for those on sales items are super good. Credit cards accepted. Fitting rooms available. The employees are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Located at the first floor of Fashion Valley mall. Public restrooms nearby. Free parking lots available in short walking distance.

I loved this BR location when it was downstairs. The selection and customer service were great. I could always find multiple items to purchase. Since moving upstairs, they've changed everything. The new store is beautiful, but the selection leaves much to be desired. Everything looks the same, and nothing you see online can be found in the store. I guess this is a more high-end BR now...and it sucks.

Store is clean cool and comfortable. In side the store, I had a pleasant experience. I rated them low because what I witnessed just outside the store that left a bad taste. One of their employees started to yell at an elderly gentleman because SHE RAN INTO HIM. Even though it occurred outside of the store, she was wearing a store name tag, so she was representing the establishment. BAD MANNERS

The general manager for this store is amazing! I asked for help to locate a size and an associate + GM confirmed the system said they had none in stock. However, the GM did not trust this was correct and searched the store herself. She located my size just before I left the store! The dress fit perfect for our family photo shoot the next morning! Thank you!!!

New Banana Republic location: gorgeous walking in. They’ve taken it back old school to the Banana Republic props: old suitcases, safari style. Customer service: BIG FAT ZERO. There were about 20 people working there and not one person said hello. I was ready to buy and instead walked right out.

The store is gorgeous and the staff are excellent. I was greeted and helped by a very friendly and professional gentleman - possibly a manager - and I was checked out by a kind young woman. I will return, especially now that Banana Republic is once again selling business suits!

Can't believe I forgot to review this place, definitely 5 stars. All of the employees are very helpful. I don't typically go out to buy clothes, but the day I did, this clothing store made me feel truly welcome. The others I've visited have a bland experience in comparison.

Store itself is fine, but the quality in clothing is not what is used to be. Pants from them were a hundred or more. No problem paying that as I've gotten 10 years or more out of their clothes. Now im lucky if they make it thru a year of wear and tear.

It is so rare to walk into a store at the mall and have ample space to walk around the clothing. This store is so well merchandised and always so clean. The employees are nice and helpful. Quality merchandise and new items all the time.

First time eating inside and the music is too loud, you can't hear the people at your table talk. People at other tables talk louder and it's just too noisy. Food is great if you can tolerate noise
