DO NOT TAKE YOUR WEDDING OR BRIDESMAID'S DRESSES HERE! It seems that this place is well regarded for their self-service machines, but do not trust them with your dry cleaning! I was looking to get one bridesmaid's dress dry cleaned (the only bridesmaid's dress from my wedding) so that I could keep it as a memento, but they have completely ruined it! When it was brought to them it had a bit of mud on the bottom, but now it is now covered in dark blue stains. If you check the other reviews you will find that this is not the first time they have covered a dry-clean item in dark stains, so there must be something wrong with their equipment or expertise (I wish I had noticed the other review before taking my dress here). To make matters worse, their customer service has been appalling! Getting hold of anyone with authority was very difficult, and on several occasions they never called back when they said they would. Their initial compensation offer was a joke (a quarter of the value of the dress) and even their final offer (which took weeks to negotiate) was only half the value of the dress. It was a thoroughly unpleasant customer service experience and I have been left with a damaged dress and not enough money to repair it or buy a replacement. Do not take your valuable dry cleaning here!

Haven't needed to use a launderette for years... Then we got a new cat. In the space of 2 weeks, we had half a dozen trips. Each time, the woman who worked behind the counter came and helped me with the laundry, advising me what washers would be best (actually loosing profit by advising me to use cheaper machine). As a result, I have kept going back since. I took a quilted tapestry in that I thought was unsalvagable. The same woman repaired it and restored it to it's clean former self. I now take my partners suits and other dry cleaning there. They come back smelling pleasant without that nasty chemical whiff that you usually get with dry cleaning (they use an environmentally friendly system ). Their prices are really good and the shop itself is clean with comfortable furniture. I nice balance between professional and homely. I would definitely recommend this service.

Service quality is very variable. I used the ironing service a few times, however half of the clothes sent would always come back poorly ironed (needing to be redone from scratch). Last time I called to report the poor quality of the service, and they explained to me that I should have 'slightly moistened' the items before handing them for collection (rediculous! Do they lack water sprays? How is the water going to stay on the clothes till they iron them the day following the collection, and realistically it's really more than just one day). They refused re-ironing the faulty ones or refunding unless I will be sending further items. I explained I am not happy to use their service any more, and would like to save my self this hassle, and only want them to fix the faulty ironing or refund, but they refused.

Had very bad experience just now. I have never known a laundrette to charge 1 pound for coming back late after your wash has stopped. I was not informed of this when I left my duvet in the wash and actually informed the guy I would be back. After returning, they literally held my item hostage till I paid the one pound I didn't even know about. I would have gladly paid but had no change and had my kids in the car, so was rushing. He refused point blank and said I need to pay the pound if I want my stuff. No such thing as customer service and had to find cash machine, which charged me for the transaction and then go back and pay! How disgusting, all for a pound. I won't be returning as this is not the first bad experience I've had there.

Attended with the hopes of same day dry cleaning of one dress and ironing (not same day) of another. First price quoted for the same day dry cleaning of the shorter dress was £25; I explained that this was nearly the same price as a new dress and declined. The man behind the counter was quite abrupt and walked off. I called him back to ask about the cost of ironing the other dress and he quoted £10 despite the fact that prices on the website do not extend past £6 for ironing of a MAXI dress (this dress was a cotton mid length sun dress). Again, he was very abrupt and rude when I declined. Inflated prices, not reflective of prices listed on the website, and poor customer service.

Poor service, started off ok but then regularly failed To give clear times for collection. Then took my shirts and didn't bring them back. Didn't answer the phone after several calls. Then when I managed to get through to them they said I was lying about ringing them multiple times even though I left them a voice mail. Then after that said that I never booked the service I asked for even though I did it by email and they confirmed it. I do not appreciate being called a liar when the evidence quite clearly shows they have just failed to provide the service they said they could. Will not be using again and recommend anyone else finds a more trustworthy and reliable business.

Have only used a launderette once before and from that I expected an unattended room with lots of machines and having to argue with a local shop about why I want my change in pound coins. This couldn't have been further from that. The staff were lovely and there was plenty to change as I needed it available, Comfortable seating while waiting and it's open until 9pm unlike most which seem to open only during office hours meaning they might as well not be there for most folk. Take time to come here even if you pass another one

Traveled to Manchester from Australia and went to Bandbox laundry for a coin operated launderette. Really helpful staff,friendly and the machines were very new and state of the art. While waiting for my laundry to get done, I was given a verbal tour of Manchester by the kind lady there and also was advised on eateries nearby as I was hungry. Next time in Manchester I will definitely use their service again and highly recommend them to everyone. They even give you change if required. My clothes came out fresh, clean and dry.

Absolutely terrible service First few pick ups were ok but then our chef tunics, 4 of which were brand new worn once, came back with the same blue ink stains all over them. Bandbox never returned our calls or made any effort to sort this out. When we called for the 4th time they tried to blame us, make out the stains were already there and accused us of lying about them and said we never contacted them about it. I did finally speak to the manager who promised to visit and see us but nothing actually came of it. Avoid

Terrible experience! Fraudulent dry cleaners! Brought my down jacket for dry cleaning, was quoted £30 by the lady!! Was desperate so had to accept the price. When i went to collect my coat, it was two different men at the counter, when they saw my receipt with a £30 payment for the dry cleaning service, they laughed amongst themselves mouthing that they cannot believe i paid so much for it! Went on the website, realised it only costs £15 maximum for my down jacket. Absolutely shambolic service. Do not get scammed!!

I had a light grey velvet blazer that i got curry sauce on when drunk. honeslty thought i was gonna have to throw it away as velvet is hard to clean at the best of times, let alone a big yellow stain on basically white. Got it back and it's good as new! Honestly so impressed. Also, turns out i paid when i gave it in, but forgot and tried to pay again when i collected and they insisted I had paid, which i really respect. will definitely be visiting them again!

I bought a suit from Primark this morning and it was badly creased. I googled ironing services and Bandbox came up as being very close. I arrived up at 10:15am and spoke to the lovely lady behind the counter and she agreed to have my suit pressed within the hour. I went to have some breakfast and returned by 11:20 and it was ready waiting for me! Thank you so much for pulling me out of a sticky situation, superb service and my suit looks fantastic!

A little disappointed, booked two separate washes, firstly they were late collecting, although only 45mins I was waiting to go out and no one had bothered to contact me to say anything. Also, even though they used two bags the washing was mixed in the bags coming back. I was expecting my separated washes to be kept separate. Some of the clothes were a little damp too. Could just be a bad day but not really great service.

I m doing decorating in my house now. My friend James dropped off something for me this morning, but unfortunately he leaned over to a painted door, which ruined his coat. He rushed out into the shop and received amazing service. They even stopped prayer to help him. Eventually they saved his almost thousand pounds coat and let him leaving with a big smile!!! Thank you very much for saving me from such a great debt!

Hi... Visited the Bandbox Laundry today. Was greeted very well and offered chocolates'. I dropped off my large service wash and duvet service wash. All the washing was done with in 4 hours.. I was thrilled by the excellent service I received and the perfect price charges. They even do free pick ups and deliveries which is great to know. This place is my regular laundry now, I even get free parking here.

It used to be a great place to go for service washes. It was clean and tidy. But these days it seems a bit unkempt. The prices are very high and there seems to be water troubles. Apart from the physical appearance, the people are really nice. They are very welcoming and do their best to keep the place running smoothly. I had my coat dry cleaned here and they did a great job. I appreciate their service.

Great customer's service. Over the Christmas holidays the shop closed at 8pm instead of 9pm the regular time, I wasn't aware of this. However after getting there for half 8 with three bags of clothes to dry, I was allowed to use the machine until 9pm while the staff were doing their cleaning. I was so pleased, yeah like I said earlier great customer's service and polite staff. 5 stars

The only laundry in Manchester you need to know. Generous opening times, high quality machines and helpful staff. I had an event at Manchester Arndale and needed 16 hammocks washed and dried. I had 3 machines going at the same time and was done in an hour. And the staff told me they would have collected, washed and dropped everything off again at the Arndale, if I book in advance.

I had my first visit to the store today and was not disappointed. I was a bit nervous but the lady behind the counter was extremely helpful. I got to sit and have lunch and get on with my work while I was waiting and it was completed really quickly. My clothes and duvet are lovely and clean and it is definitely worth the price. Will definitely be using this service in the future.

Coin operated / self service laundrette that's located near the Whitworth Art Gallery. Had to go twice and got a very frosty/passive aggressive reception from the girl who works there. Asking simple questions or getting change seemed to provoke a snappy, irritated response and it's really off putting. It only gets two stars because the washing machines and dryers do a great job.

I've been using Bandbox for my service washes for a few months now and would recommend them to anyone looking for an easy way to get a load of laundry washed and dried with no effort required at all. It's a next day service, and it's never been a problem arranging a collection, even on a Sunday. The staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

We get our laundry done by Bandbox every few weeks when our tiny washer gets overwhelmed with how much we have piled up. They do incredible door to door service and have incredibly fast turn around if you are pressed for time. The staff who work here are always really helpful and keep us posted about when to expect. Can't rate them high enough.

It was my first time at bandbox and I was a little nervous but as I went in I was welcomed by the staff, they were very friendly and polite. They offered me a delivery service so I didn't have to carry two bags of clothes on the bus, the next day they arrived at my house smelling nice and folded neatly . I will definitely use them again.

Staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful, very often go out of their way to help customers. Washers and dryers comes in both small and larger size and there's plenty of them so no long waiting time. There are plenty parking just outside too. They have also put some sofas and magazines for you while you are waiting! Top place!

My partner collected my Clothing after 3 hours to find my jackets with blue dye and the puffiness gone from them avoid this company at all costs. these people can’t wash whites, fluffy or puffy clothing my designer clothes are in ruins I asked for a wash service and now I have to replace everything due to these bloody muppets.

Some Bandbox business cards were left at reception in our building so we decided to give them a try. We just did a collection service wash and what a great experience! We called Sunday morning and had our laundry back 24 hours later... all washed & folded and it smells amazing. Very competitive pricing and excellent service.

Referred by friend so first give some dry cleaning and was impress. So decided to give wife bridal dress and it came out as new. I am regular customer of bandbox from now on.

Excellent 'wet cleaning' service. Suits have come back spotless and well pressed. They were also kind enough to sew a couple of buttons that were coming loose on a suit jacket and a hem on a pair of trousers. I discovered them through a great offer on Groupon for new customers and I will definitely be going back.

The actual service provided was very good. I entered a 3-piece suit for dry cleaning and when it was returned to me, all the stains had indeed been removed. 4/5 because the price I paid was different to that I was quoted and my ticket was misplaced by a member of staff. Minor things - I’ll be going here again!

I've been to many laundromats, this is my favorite ever. Washing machines and dryers are new and very efficient at cleaning clothes and drying them (dryer takes 12 min to completely dry cotton!). The staff is super friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to help you. Love how clean the place is.

Staff lacks any customer service expertise. They're sarcastic and sometimes a bit aggressive. Pricey for what it is. Plus they use metal pins with tags on your clothes, sometimes more than one (why???). When you discover it's too late, you've already been pricked. Not pleasant smell after cleaning either.

I have been using Bandbox for a few months now to iron all my Shirts, taking in 10 every fortnight. The service is top notch; The job always done to a high standard, always turned around within a day or two, good price & very convenient opening hours - Open till 9pm M-F and open till 8pm on a Sunday!

This is genuinely the best dry cleaners I have been to. I had a rough night a few weeks ago in my suit and I brought it in with blood and other fluids covered all over. I gave it to them at 2pm and by 8pm it was like I bought it from the shop again. Costing me barely anything. You guys are top.

Excellent laundry services!! Kind and good services from the staff, helpful staff. Clean environment, have three big sofa here, each machine have one basket for us so it will be very convenient. Reasonable price, fast washing and drying. Highly recommend for anyone who would like to do laundry.

This laundrette is FAB! I use these guys for my ironing and dry cleaning and they're a fraction tin of the price of main cleaners and the quality is SO much better. I couldn't function without there service. Very friendly staff and accomodating Would highly recommend. The make up lady :)

Really annoyed. Ruined an expensive Jaeger jacket. Looks like too much solvent used as the top part from kneck to shoulders much darker than the rest. They did offer to do it again but when we got it back it was no different. Only took it there because of the reviews now wish we hadn't!

Awesome place with reasonable prices. They made my clothes softer and smell amazing. I particularly like they are a green alternative to traditional dry cleaners. Najma was extremely helpful and accommodating; she's knowledgeable about the dry cleaning and laundering process as well.

The lady was very helpful. She would not even accept tip. The wifi was fast. There were comfy couches. The machines the clean and efficent. I would have liked a receipt, but the lady provided me with a flyer with pricing, wich should work for my expense report :-)

Used the pick-up and delivery service to get 2 suits and 5 shirts dry cleaned for a great price. Fast pick-up, fast delivery. Brilliant standard of cleaning and the lady I spoke to was so friendly in person and on the phone. Could not ask for a better experience.

If you are in Manchester, I highly recommend this laundry. I had the best experience of doing laundry here. The wifi meant I could catch up on series or work while there and there are fast food outlets and stores next door to grab a drink or a snack.

Great place when it's quiet ie weekdays. Weekends tends to be a lot busier. When all washers and dryers are being used at the same time powercuts tend to happen and dryers only work on very low heat. Avoid weekends. Staff are helpful and friendly.

I had a whole bag of laundry that needed to be washed and dried within a couple of hours and Naila from the store was able to assist me with the request. My laundry was ready when I was scheduled to pick it up and it was all nicely folded!

The machines are very good, and very efficient. So, you pay far lower for drying for instance. They dried my load of clothes in 15 minutes for £1. And Very friendly service.
