Bandcamp by White Collar Hippie

Drive of little over an hour from Thane, a beautiful Uttan village was kind of discovery for me. And Bandcamp was certainly the right choice. First camping experience for us. That we totally enjoyed. Simple check in process, loads of complementary munchies, hygienic toilets, shower, fresh sleeping bags, loads and loads of books and board games, the list of happy moments is endless. What we liked the most is easy breezy vibes. It was such a relaxing experience watching sunset. Saturday is Mini Music Festival where around 2 to 3 bands perform. Each one of them were amazing. They start with live Barbeque at around 8 pm. It was delicious. Being vegetarian we loaded ourselves with mushrooms, Paneer and baked potatoes. Band performance begins by around 8:30. Since we were there with our two young kids they had arranged for kiddos dinner early at around 9:30. That was a pretty cool gesture. All meals are prepared and cooked by locals and has very rustic and authentic touch to it. Loved it. The music, the peace and the food made our camping trip really memorable.

It's the most Serene and calm place you'll visit when it comes to camping. Located on the top of a hill, amdist a lane of koli dwellers, whose ships you can marvel at while you're on your way up there. The best time to visit would be during winters, listening to music on the hill side edge staring at the sunset and the red horizon with chilly winds blowing on you. Roasting marshmallows on a camp fire the entire night and a complete view of the night sky. Sizeable tents to fit your companion, few hammocks and comfortable loos to relieve yourself. All and all, a perfect place to camp.

Would like to start off by saying that the entire camp site is great - clean toilets and good overall setup. However, the entire camp can be managed better. There was a rather noisy group of people bang in the middle of the camp tent site who were making noise through the night, and inconvenienced everyone. Some camp management team members were also a part of this group which is unfortunate. Beyond this, the tent facilities can be slightly better. Better pillow facilities would be good. The breakfast was great. The dinner was extremely average though.

Chill place, great people, music and freedom feels good. Great for a quick weekend away from Mumbai. They provide flashlights, lamps, cool pins, postcards, and mosquito repellent. The washrooms were separated from the main areas and kept clean. Water stations are available. The food is also good, and the live music is a great part of the night. The tents are good and some of them have swings next to them.

Bnadcamp Season 4 just got over and it has been a blast. Bandcamp organise overnight camping events from November-December. It is one of the best camping experiences as it has live band performance and movie screening, Besides that they have amazing barbecue, bonfire and clean hygienic tents/loos. Do make your visit in Season 5 if you want to experience the chill vibes and the hippie crowd.

Bandcamp was an awesome place , it was definitely better than what we expected. The place is clean and vibe is awesome...it's run by some very cool people too ...the best part is that this place is for everyone, group, family ,kids ...one and all... food is great too..Would love to visit again

Awesome place for a couple ......I visited on valentine's eve..... romantic environment...... great music by curls and beards band......food , drinks, munching all things are available as per your need .....also a nice view of sunset you can get to see here , if you came on time.

Omg!! It was an amazing stay there at band camp. Food was fabulous, bathrooms and tents were clean, well-behaved staff and well maintained as well. Had a fabulous Christmas. Last but not least Samar & Victor(singers) were amazing. It was a full-on party night.

For the amount we pay, Sunset walk was a bit over exaggerated, barbecue got over very soon and the local male staff were not that good. That's all. Rest everything was cool. Tents were awesome, place was clean, food was unlimited, band is cool.

Best camping experience, awesome midnight gigs with chilled beer and tasty barbeque, morning breakfast with board games and silly chats. The place is built to chill and relax and is an escape to fast paced busy Mumbai life.

Tremendous place to visit any day. The vibe is so good and so subtle. I could have given four stars but three because they don't keep in check of dogs (hygiene issues). Rest all is fantastic.

Perfect break from all the hustle bustle of the city, and that too within short driving distance. A beautiful experience of camping, extremely well planned hosting and good food. Must visit!!

Mis-communicative staff. Did not provide us details properly and probably its because of their popularity they dont pay attention to smaller groups of people while taking bookings.

Everything was good.. food and ambience the service was good however there were too many mosquito. You must try it once as it's a bit different than regular parties.

Remote place away from the hustle and bustle of a city. Has a great view and also it's a great place along the nature to spend some time with family and friends.

If you are looking for hygienic and safe experience of camping this is the right place. Cost is definitely on higher side but it's absolutely value for money. …
