A couple months ago I set up a mortgage saver account that I never used and so went into this branch to close my account. I was told this was not possible as I have charges that need to be paid. I attempted to pay these with my card/cash. Not possible in this bank as it is cashless and cannot accept card. I attempted to stop the direct debit to my mortgage saver account as this is costing me 12 euro a month. This was not possible. Due to a 'technical issue' they could also not stop it from charging me another 12 euro on the 27th. Disgraceful service and the woman I was dealing with was extremely rude. Sticking to AIB for good now.
"This is a cashless branch. We do not have cash." is what she said. Wow! A bank branch that does not deal in cash! What a novel concept... Do they even deal with money in electronic form? Get rid of that too, and be done. Why does this place exist at all? (Their ATM gave me all 50 € bills. All I wanted were to change some of those into tens and twenties for cabs, etc. I did not ask for coins!)
I visited this branch for the first time earlier this week and found the staff onsite to be very helpful with a money transfer issue I had even though I am not an active BOI customer. Nicola was particularly helpful as was the other gentleman (never got his name) I also spoke with initially. Thank you for helping resolve my issue promptly, very good customer experience and much appreciated.
Absolutely pathetic in terms of service. It's been almost a month since applying for a current account. Even after multiple emails and calls to their customer care, no action has been taken. Same lame excuse of many applications in queue. Why are you even running a bank if the minimum service levels cannot be met?
Confusing entrance - there is no reception desk, reception area, waiting area, clearly marked areas, or intelligible signs. Staff don't wear badges or uniform, so I had to stand around and hope that someone would notice me. Unwelcoming and rushed air, no one introduced themselves, disorganised-looking interior.
I would just like to thank Ryan from this branch who went out of his way for me this morning thursday 23rd june.. my dog was panting really bad and he brought out water for him and helped me with banking.. A credit to bank of Ireland..thank you so much Ryan. Your an asset to Bank of ireland docklands
Absolutely unwelcome staff. No one paid any attention at me. I came at 3.45pm for a bank draft and was told it's closed. Wonder for how long does it work (usually has to 4pm so looks like staff decided not to bother).
I would like to thank Derek Sheridan for the patience and for all the help opening my bank account. He has been really patient with me and has done a good job helping me in the process. Thank you very much.
Showcase branch of Bank of Ireland. Always excellent staff. ATM and logment machines in place. NOTE there is no cashier windows as you would normally expect - the branch is dedicated for personal banking.
More than 6 weeks to open a new account and it is still in progress. Account team blame branch, branch manager blame account team. Avoid at all costs!!! Business processes are mess in BOI.
Unfortunately, in this branch, I have no comments,, I can't believe these staff do financial services, they has no ability to talk to clients .. Unbelievable. Cc to HR
Needed help with my own account info and resetting my 364 pin. The person working was super helpful and get sorted quicker than expected
Working from the workbench its a dream - great bunch of people, staff always friendly, and such a top notch location what's not to like!
Disgraceful behaviour from one off your staff spraying sanitizer into a customer face as she was holding a baby …
No actual service desk. Not helpful when its the closes BOI to your workplace and you need to change currency etc
It's only open 4 withdrawals. Not lodgements . I went 2 do a lodgement. Disappointed it says open on website
The free coworking space is an absolutely brilliant contribution to the local tech entrepreneurs. Kudos.
Poor customer experience. Basic services discouraged, better off going to Baggot street branch.
Bad call line, cumbersome bureaucracy, lost requests. Hole bank seems stuck in 2000s.
A peep into the future of banks. Amazing co-working space and friendly host.
Nice and helpful staff. I wish not to wait this long in a queue though.
Worst service in the world. They do not open account for foreigners.
11/10 IGN, loving the free start-up space - very useful
Worst bank ever, lying about their services
