I wanted to leave a review mainly to let anyone who is hesitant on hiring this man know that doing it will be the best decision you ever make. So, I found myself in a position to have to find myself an attorney for the first time in my life. After calling around and talking to multiple attorneys I found Gasper Stare. We spoke on the phone and after just a few minutes I instantly knew he was different from most lawyers. He listened to my situation in full without trying to sell me on him. He advised me of some of my options and was 100% understanding with my personal situation. After talking to him I realized that he was one of a kind and actually cares for people because I hadn't hired him yet but he still took the time to listen and give me some comfort. After the call was over I immediately called back and hired him to be my attorney which was the best decision of my life. Last year I embarked on a legal saga that recently ended quite triumphantly, but it’s not that happy ending that is prompting this review; I’ve been meaning to write it for a while, long before I knew what the outcome would be. I would not have been able to tough it out without the help of a few inspired and inspiring people, including Mr. Adam Brower, who represented me in that case. I hadn’t had any run-in with the law, so everything was new to me. His friendly nature and the fact that he is so approachable made it easy for me to enter and navigate this new and rather spooky realm. Super-prompt from the very outset, he gave me the kind of confidence that you get when, after a long search, you find, say, an experienced and dedicated surgeon, on whose skills (and also compassion and frankness) your life might depend. OK, I’m waxing lyrical here, but I mean it. His long and varied experience was absolutely vital in this process. There were moments when I was getting impatient because the process was dragging on forever, due to the inherent vagaries of such cases, but Adam had a different perspective on things precisely because of his extraordinarily rich – and successful – experience, and he always knew how to convey his own outlook to me and to help me hang in there. His patience with me was truly remarkable, and there was absolutely no moment when he got irritated (as he rightly could have gotten, given my pestering him with questions etc.) or when he wasn’t available for advice, no matter how busy he was. I tried to avoid abusing his goodwill, but I’m sure I didn’t always succeed. I also admired his ability to explain obscure legal distinctions and complicated situations with fantastic clarity. He didn’t just try to leave me under the impression that he dutifully answered my questions; he genuinely did his very best to make sure that he had dispelled the fog shrouding whatever issue had puzzled me. He is clearly very good indeed at dealing successfully with the tactics required by the moment while also keeping his eyes on the overall strategy that will yield the best possible result. I often lost sight of the latter and focused too much on the former, but, again, he always knew how to help me find my bearings. Most of all, perhaps, I was impressed by his intuition that permeated his entire approach during this process, with all of its technical aspects and stages. It’s harder to define, but no less real or important than Adam’s command of those technical aspects or his ability to get along with everyone in Marion County’s legal universe. It’s that intuition, of which I became more keenly aware with every month that passed, that I think ultimately accounted for our success. Things that I thought were critical turned out to be marginal – and the other way around; somehow Adam knew it all along! In short, he embodies a unique combination of expertise, tact, intuition, determination, patience, frankness, and diplomatic charisma. I’m really lucky that I chose Adam as my defense attorney! I recommend him, and his colleagues and his wonderful paralegal, as enthusiastically as I possibly can.

I know I will be judged for my mistake. However, I will make more in life, I’m sure and your judging won’t stop that. I typically drive 8-9 hours from my home in Chattanooga to work in rural Indiana every 12-14 days and back/forth. Many years ago, I was involved in a robbery and I saved three lives, including my own by carrying a weapon legally. I am getting older and my memory isn’t as sharp, quite frankly but I have always been very safe about my handgun and have always know where it was. I have been a mortician for 30+ years and must goto scary places late at night and a weapon helps me feel safe. All that to say, I chose to fly this time instead of drive because I have become exhausted running business that has consumed me lately and didn’t even re-pack my bags for this trip. Typically, I don’t transport a weapon but I did last time because there were a few break-ins locally and, well…protect house & home. All that to say, I left my handgun and rounds in my luggage that I never unpacked for a road-trip that turned into air trip-last minute. I was always quick to ridicule this when I heard it on the radio, etc. but now, I’m that guy! Nonetheless, I called this firm as I am in fear after being treating like I showed up at the airport naked or bombs taped to my chest and THEY ANSWERED AT 7pm! Bill Frederick not only took my call, he comforted me and ensured me that this isn’t terribly uncommon (NOT THE WAY I WAS TREATED AT THE AIRPORT). I am former military and was an expert marksman. I am NOT a crazed lunatic. I AM the guy you want during a mass shooting to protect you/I and the ones I love. All that to say, when I called this firm, they made me feel like a mistake was made (I own it) and it will be ok. After feeling like public-enemy #1, that’s what I needed to hear! I am glad they found the weapon, I am glad it didn’t get on the aircraft and in wrong hands and I take responsibility…I don’t think I needed to be bandstanded by the police and TSA but I DO need to be more careful, obviously. I also need to keep this firm on my side because they answered my call late and didn’t make me a criminal, they made me a client! That deserves a VERY positive review!

Didn't respond to a request for information /assistance Updated Jan 4th. Adam Brower, owner, contacted me a few hours after the review I initially left for this law firm last week. He was able to get in touch with me earlier this week and I was able to speak with someone about the issue I need help with. I advised them that I was waiting for a referral from my law firm assigned to my legalshield account and would call them if the referral was not able to help me. They understood and said that they would like to help if I didn't get it from the referral. They said they had some kind of technical problem with their web form as they usually respond to requests within a few hours but I never got one. Said their response bounced back for some reason or another. But I was finally able to get to speak with them and added a couple of stars to the review. Will update further if they end up helping me out and it was a good experience or not. Updated Jan 11th. After speaking with the referral attorney from my legal account, I think I am going to go with this attorney over the referral, updated by 1 star. I have retained this firm to assist me with the matter I needed help with and it's been a great experience so far! Updated May 31st 2022 This law firm is amazing! Thanks to Dori my attorney and her assistant Lori, I won in court to get my grandparent rights established so that I can see my granddaughter again. I'm truly thankful for the help you have given me and appreciate your hard work! Updated Apr 18th 2023 Took a couple of stars away today. Dori my attorney from my case last year is sadly no longer with this firm. I called and talked to Romy and he stated that I would have to pay a very high retainer fee just to get my court order updated from last year since my granddaughters mom is being inconsiderate and uncooperative. My case is already established and a court order done that just needs to be modified from it's original version. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere for further support and assistance with my case.

Adam Brower is an incredibly skilled and competent lawyer. He was my lawyer for a federal criminal charge. It was a tough case and I began to lose hope when I understood the terms of the indictment and how the federal law worked. It was only when I hired Adam that I began to see a ray of hope. PLEASE HIRE JOE WYCOFF AND HIS PARALEGAL EMILY FOR YOUR CASE. I googled a criminal lawyer and came across Banks and Brower. I called and told them my issue and they sent me to Joe Wycoff. What stood out to me the most about Joe was the fact he was familiar with the judge over my case and that he already been before the judge as well. Long story short I didn’t know how I’d win my case bcz the incident was on video. Joe sent me the video, I had a private face to face meeting with him and we discussed the video. These guys aren’t very good. I was a truck driver that so happen to have beef with another truck driver. Brad banks charged me a premium to have him represent me. It turns out that he is friends with the prosecutor and twisted my arm to take a plea deal, because he was too lazy to fight the case all the way through. You know what Mr. Banks? I don’t even argue or demand a refund. You took advantage of me because I was a truck driver and a person with no criminal history. I will say this though. We are all subjected to hardships in life, and that includes you. While you were counting the money you made from me while smiling, just know that we can be knocked down and humbled by life. Instead of you guys doing the job that I hired you to do, Brad decided to twist my arm to take a plea deal, all because he didn’t want to put any effort in my case. It’s ok though because my case will be dismissed less than a month from now m. No thanks to you. Like I said. You reap what you sow. I moved on from you taking everything what I had in my bank account in order for you to “ represent” me and not do anything. I hired Gasper Stare at Banks & Brower to represent me because I received a speeding ticket driving a vehicle that was substantially more powerful than I was accustomed to and, to be blunt, it was BAD. I was given a mandatory court appearance date where I likely would have been charged with reckless driving where I otherwise have a clean record. Mr. Stare was able to negotiate this down to a violation where the state allowed me to have a deferral on the ticket, effectively removing it from my record. I hired Gasper Stare to represent me in a very strange protection order case. He was very professional, knowledgeable and kept my expectations realistic. I was nervous and all over the place as it was a situation that I have never been in before, but Gasper kept me in check and focused on what I needed to do for my case.
