Een hele fijne ervaring gehad bij dokter Line Hollmann, zowel op professioneel als persoonlijk vlak! Tijdens vakantie klachten krijgen is heel vervelend en de taal kan dan echt een drempel zijn om naar de dokter te gaan. Na op internet gezocht te hebben naar een Nederlands sprekende dokter, kwam ik bij deze praktijk terecht. Eerst telefonisch overleg gehad en al snel kon ik terecht voor een afspraak. Daar ben ik heel prettig geholpen en voelde ik me snel op mijn gemak. Goed advies en een recept gekregen, waardoor ik hopelijk de rest van de vakantie weer klachtenvrij kan gaan vieren. Echt een aanrader, ook als je kortdurend in Barcelona verblijft!!!!!

Dr Hollmann truly cares about the health and well-being of her patients. After having endured a moped accident I walked it off, till I noticed a severe swelling late on a Friday afternoon. After calling with Dr Hollmann she recommended me to immediately visit her office for treatments as there were signs of an infection. (This was nearing the end of the work day and she stayed overtime to treat me, so I wouldn’t have to wait for Monday) I’m very thankful to dr Hollmann for her treatment on my wounds and the clear instructions she gave me. I would really recommend Barcelona Family Doctor to everyone in Barcelona!

I had a wonderful experience with two online consults with Dr. Femke. Her experience and understanding of a Dutch mindset towards health, while also understanding the local system and opinions is wonderful for someone like me, who has been in Spain for nearly 20 years. Not only did she solve my health issue, but the best thing is that she followed up a few days later to ask how I was doing and to guide me through the remainder of the treatment. She is super friendly and a good listener, who takes the time to talk to you. I highly recommend her services.

Wow is all I can say. I have been dealing with sinusitis and an ear infection abroad (I am American) and am struggling to get the care I need due to the language barrier. I reached out to Dr. Femke over message, and although she could see me in person due to me being out of her area, she provided excellent medical advice and contacts for who can help me. Beyond that, she showed incredible compassion and care. I have no doubt that you will be in good hands with her.

Femke listens to the complaints very well and comes up with a plan. No-nonsense information was provided and I was well informed about diagnosis, treatment options, potential benefits, potential adverse events and possible outcomes. Femke provided this information in a professional way but with a good ear for my questions and sincere empathy. I feel very comfortable with Femke as my doctor.

Dr. Femke has a great personal approach which gave me a lot of tranquillity when I needed it most. I like the fact that she does not over test/medicate like many other Drs do. Her online sevice is great to, saved me many times an unnecessary trip to the hospital with my kids and explained all in a very clear and direct way!
