The place is very fun if you are trying to party with locals and other foreigners. The drinks are very affordable. Most range from 500-1000 yen. There is no cover charge and karaoke is free. However, if it is busy, you will most likely not get a chance to sing or wait for a long time to sing on busy days. Not sure if it's different on a week day. The staff is very friendly. Also, this is a smoking bar.

Stop wondering and just go here. It’s a great club with an amazing warm owner who welcomes you along with the other staff. If you are alone go here. If you are with a group go here. If you are some weird God lol just go here. It’s fun, affordable, and you will meet nice new friends. Stop wondering about “is this place blah blah blah” and just go here! — good note is to go here after 9pm

Very friendly bar located in Kyoto near the buzzing Pontocho area. Everyone here speaks English and they really get into their music. Would recommend as a place to go to meet other travelers and English speakers. Bar staff are super friendly as well and the drinks are cheap. There was a guy with a bird too, and that was pretty interesting lol.

Me and my friends from the Netherlands visited in September and till this day we still talk about our karaoke experience at Barcode, we loved it! Everyone was very nice and the beef kaldereta was delicious ! 10/10 We will definitely visit again someday!

karaoke and inexpensive drinks - what more could you want? awesome little bar, great vibes, tourist-friendly, easy to meet other travellers and locals. and the staff couldn’t be more friendly - dropped everything to help me look for my wallet, and they kept my friend’s lost phone safe until the next day. had lots of fun!

Sang Karoke in Japan to knock it off my bucketlist. Welcoming bar, amazingly friendly bartender and server. And they have the voice of an angel and sing some songs them self, loved that to make us all feel comfortable!!!

First time I tried Karaoke was at Barcode. Probably wont be my last either. Great club to let loose and have some fun. Came here solo and made new friends within minutes. Be open, happy, and social and its guaranteed you'll have a good time.

Loved the vibe! And they accept cards (5% +) loved seeing locals and tourists singing together! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is a smoking bar, besides that I totally recommend it!

カード、スイカなど現金でなければ楽しめません。残念ながら、これらの店は通常淘汰されなくなります。アジア全体がこの店を抜いて前に進んでいます。台湾、中国、韓国 そのどこに行ってもこんなに頑強なカード拒否は初めてです。
