☆ I visited Bared Footwear (Mens) after a friend recommended it to me. ☆ First, I was greeted by the incredible Ange who took the time to measure my foot size. She then allowed me to browse the store, helped me with sizing and explained Bared’s “Biomechanical Footbed” padding. ☆ Since I have small feet, buying shoes has always been a struggle. However, Ange was so patient throughout the entire process, putting in different combinations of padding and insoles until the shoe perfectly fitted my feet. We tried several combinations, and not once did Ange look bothered by it. She was so helpful! ☆ Ange emphasised that she wanted me to leave the store with a shoe that I was 100% happy with. She therefore always gave me her honest, but professional opinion, when it came to size, fitting and appearance. This honesty and candour is so rare to see in a sales representative these days! ☆ Ange also informed me of Bared's generous 60-day returns policy -- where I could try on the shoes at home and if I wasn't happy with them, could bring them back for a full refund. ☆ I left the store with a new pair of shoes and feeling incredibly heart-warmed. A big well done to the team at Bared (and particularly to Ange!). I’ll certainly be recommending Bared to all of my friends and family. ☆ Also, a big thank you to Sally who operates the online customer live-chat. Sally was prompt, reliable and speedy in assisting me with my new pair of shoes.

Customer service is top notch. I dropped in close to closing time on a Saturday whilst on the hunt for a decent pair of black cap toe Oxfords for my wedding day. Corey served me and was very kind, knowledgeable in an unpretentious way, and patient with me despite it being close to closing time. I could not believe how comfortable the shoes I tried on were! I would have purchased them in a heartbeat but unfortunately they weren't quite the style I was looking to wear on my big day. Corey was kind enough to put the shoes on hold whilst I shopped around. Another gent by the name of Will contacted me a couple of weeks later to discuss what I wanted to do with the the shoes they had on hold for me and he was kind and respected my final decision. With my Chelsea boots I wear to work fast approaching the end of their life I will be choosing Bared for a replacement. Keep up the great work guys.

As an Osteopath and health professional of 12+ years’ experience, I have been highly impressed by the excellent footwear provided by Bared Footwear in Melbourne. Their shoes are not only orthotic friendly with pillow like comfort (great for those who are on their feet all day), but fully adjustable with the company providing FREE inserts to suit all types of feet and occupations. Not to mention most of their styles are very fashionable and have a pair myself! I was blown away by Lana form the Melbourne store with her professionalism, attentiveness and knowledge throughout my fitting. Absolutely love this small local business! (NB: I have no vested interest in this company) and gave this review because I genuinely want to acknowledge how awesome bared footwear are! Definitely recommend to all my patients and those thinking of getting supportive yet stylish footwear!

I just received my first pair of Bared footwear after stopping someone in the street to ask where they got their shoes. I can confirm they feel exactly how they were described to me "like clouds on your feet". I was blown away by the sizing kit that arrived with the shoes, allowing me to get the right fit for my foot - something I've never seen before with any other shoe company. I also just received such a lovely follow up email from Bared including this little touch "We'll never leave you in shoes you don't love! If you're not sure on your size or tossing up between styles - we’ve got you covered. Here to answer all your footwear needs in real-time, we’ll send you extra pairs to try - at no cost to you - so you can compare shoes and use our nifty fitting options to suit your foot!" Now I can't wait to get out of lockdown and parade these foot clouds around town!

Hands down the best customer service from any company I've ever experienced. They will always go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy and satisfied. The team members know the ins and outs of each shoe, something that not all shoe store retail assistants can do. The only gripe I have with Bared (although quite minor), is that the men's store always seems to be a bit understaffed. So sometimes that can take away from the 5 star customer service experience. Aside from that though, you've got yourself a lifelong customer! Keep up the good work!

I’ve bought a few pairs of Bared shoes now and was again impressed today when I went in to buy a pair of loafers for a wedding. Edison who was running the store today really stood out as he talked me through the nuances of what to look for in a loafer, how foot rise impacts sizing and comfort and talked me through a range of options. It’s not that common to find a brand that has people who know and care about their product so I really give Bared (and Edison) credit - really polished service, excellent quality.

I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman who helped me but he assisted me greatly. Managed to have the last pair in my size available and walked me through all the options and differences in footwear, including a pair of thin and thick insoles in the purchase depending on socks I wear. I also left my sunglasses behind and the customer service team helped me greatly to retrieve them, they even offered to post them to me free of charge. All in all a great team and happy to support a local business. A+

Some of the best shoes you'll ever get. Bared is the definition of 'You pay for what you get'. Anything from this company is worth the price. You can't put a price on health especially foot health since it's the foundation of your body. Bared are best. I'll always go here. And the lady that served me gave me excellent customer service. Took the younger sibling in to get some shoes for their birthday. The fellow who served us was incredibly patient and polite, was spectacularly helpful with what styles would potentially suit what we were looking for and seemed very happy to take the time to let us try most things out. Totally worth the money for the high quality of product and spectacular service. If you're looking for nice shoes, I'd definitely recommend taking a trip in.

I have bought two pairs of shoes from this store now and both times the service and care I've been given have been exceptional. Huge thanks to Zach and Will for their patience and attention - they don't pressure you for sales, they take their time to make sure they find the perfect fit and they have such a great grasp over their field and products. Amazing service and great quality shoes. The shoes are very comfortable (ideal for somebody like me, carrying an old injury that causes lots of issues with my feet). The staff are very helpful, friendly and attentive. I have bought a number of pairs now and wear them all the time. One pair had the sole starting to come away from the upper recently and they repaired it for free. Really good quality company all round.

Bought mens boots here in March and they developed a squeak in the heel. Was a bit worried as live in Auckland, lucky went back in June, took them and started to explain. The lady knew of my issue went out the back and just got a new pair and swapped them without me even getting to the questioning part of what they would do. Absolute fantastic service. Other retailers could learn a lot from these guys!!!!

Embedded deep into Corey’s kiwi quip, was a top shelf knowledge of Bareds line of footwear, and even when the place started filling up with customers, he was able to keep his cool and attain to everyone’s needs I’ll repost in a few months how the shoes hold up, but so far I wore them all day right out of the box and didn’t even feel them I bought the Manganese boots

I had a great experience getting fitted for shoes at Bared. Corey took me through a range of options, paying attention to both short term needs but also helped me to walk out with a pair of shoes that would be flexible for future occasions. I ended up with the leather brogues and I wouldn't hesitate to return to buy another style when the occasion suits.

Our customer experience at the Men's store was wayy better than our initial visit at Armadale. We were served by Will who was warm, knowledgeable and patient. With his help, my husband was able to swap our initial purchase to something else that was suited him quite perfectly. We'll be telling everyone about this store from now on!

Excellent site for men (and women). Melbourne City men's store has a great range from casual to formal. Staff know how to fit shoes and they can help tweak things for you. For what you get the prices are very good

If there is one recommendation, I'd suggest going in store and spending a good couple minutes to chat with the staff and get fitted. Incredibly knowledgable team, with no pressure to make a purchase at all.
