Came here on a Wednesday when they had $15 chicken Parma specials. First time having loaded Parmas and it was different. The size of the parmas were average, it definitely looks a lot bigger on social media. Full of cheese, toppings were decent amount however, the chicken crumbs could have been crunchier. Besides that, it was still enjoyable as it tasted like a pizza however, instead of the dough you gave a chicken schnitzel. The porterhouse was decent, mushroom was nice however, could have given us more. We ordered two servings of mushroom sauce and for some reason they had different consistency and colour. The Green Pesto with homemade ricotta gnocchi was definitely our favorite item of the order. Cheesy and full of flavour. Would only come back on a Wednesday for the $15 Parma’s and order two, for the size we wouldn’t pay more than $15.

Walked in just out of the blue a few months ago. We’re from country Victoria, and hadn’t stayed this side of town before. We were welcomed by the staff even though they were booked out and busy. They made room for us in between bookings. Food was great, atmosphere terrific and the staff just genuinely polite and friendly. So tonight 25/1123. We just popped our heads in, again with no booking. And once again the beautiful staff accommodated us. Once again a beautiful meal. The staff absolutely awesome, friendly and obliging. Melbourne, you’ve got a treasure in this establishment. And if you want to book a table…. You won’t regret it

Heard great things about this place so had to come here for a mates birthday. Absolutely mouth-watering food that cannot faulted at all. The meat platter is great to share with friends and is just an amazing experience overall. Customer service was on point and only a 15 minute wait on the food which was impressive. However, we were slapped with a $10 cakeage fee which I was not told about when I arrived with the cake nor is it anywhere on their website or menu. Do consider this if you plan on hosting a birthday here. Other then that, amazing place!!

Been here a couple times and I can attest that their food AND customer service is top-notch. The food is freshly made and super flavourful. I've had pasta at several italian places and always found the meals to border the taste of bland. Here though, the pasta is super tasty and seasoned well. Their customer service is also super friendly. I highly recommend coming here for a casual but tasty meal. They also have a great vegan selection of food, from pizza to pasta!

Ooft. Carbs on carbs, on carbs. This place is known for their pasta cobs and fairy floss martinis so we had to check it out. Mates ordered cheesy pasta in cobs and a garlic prawn pizza (not pictured) and I ordered the porterhouse steak with mushroom sauce. Impressed with the steak that was actually cooked medium rare. Attentive service and the place was fully booked the entire dining duration - would recommend making a booking.

Was an okay Italian experience. The pasta in the cob is a bit much, would recommend getting pasta in just a plate. Got a touch sides, which were nice also. There is definitely better Italian around.l - but if you want just a quick go to, you can drop by here. Venue is okay - our waiter was lovely & attentive. Some stuff were mucking around before the counter which was a bit much. Overall, bit average.

Halal options, just inform the staff who are very friendly and very accommodating. Had the meat platter which was lovely (especially the chicken wings and parma), and arancini which was gorgeous. They do have alcohol and pork on the menu, but they can make their cocktails non-alcoholic (fairy floss was yum). Was recommended the peri-peri pizza which was really nice. Would definitely go back.

Amazing food, absolutely fantastic. And the service was rapid! Very friendly and responsive staff. Would definitely recommend for a lovely Italian dinner with family and friends. And it’s 100% Halal!

Exploring Brunswick for the first time and found this gem for lunch. Ordered the Seafood Linguini and Barkly's Fettuccini. Both were delicious and we polished the plates. Good value with generous portions. Great ambience and even greater service from Marcia. Compliments to the chef too. Will definitely return to ring the bell again!

Great customer service and delicious food. We had the meat platter to share for two, which was massive and definitely feeds more than two people for a very reasonable price. The kids loved the pasta selection, very well presented and generous.

Enjoyed our dinner here at Barkly’s kitchen, my partner is a chef and absolutely loved the salt and pepper calamari. We had pasta, my partner having seafood linguini and myself having a carbonara ...great portions and tasted good. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Thank you to our lovely waitress.

Tried this place for the first time this weekend we had the platter, chicken parmigiana and the fettucine in the cob and all I can say is it was amazing everything tasted fresh and delicious I was very impressed!! Especially the fettucine in the cob was just wow!! More

Pretty inedible risotto… wet, can taste the fake chicken stock, swimming in cheese, over cooked chicken - rubbery… waste of money, it’s going straight in the bin.
