My boyfriend purchased a massage and facial package for my birthday at basalt. I am 28 years old and this was my first time getting either service so I was really excited and couldn’t stop thinking about it since we booked it a month ago. Both the massage and the facial were incredible, and the people who helped me were great. My only reason for leaving 4 stars was that I informed the receptionist, the massage therapist, and the esthetician that I had never been there before or gotten any of those services before but that I had received it as a gift from my partner. After my service the esthetician met me in the lobby to discuss skin care and then told me to have a good day. I assumed that meant I was okay to leave and I headed out. 5 minutes later I received a phone call informing me I “forgot to pay for my service.” I have never been more mortified. Nobody informed me that I was to pay at the front and my partner and I both assumed it was all set and ready to go when we booked. It was definitely on us for not paying attention while booking and assuming we had been charged but it was disappointing that of the 3 people who helped me with my service today not one informed me that I needed to pay and instead I was called and spoken to like a thief. A very relaxing and wonderful experience turned into me leaving in tears because I was so embarrassed. First time clients should definitely be given more guidance. Other than that my experience was lovely and I would still absolutely recommend it.

I went to Basalt for a birthday massage and facial and they blew me out of the water with the quality, attention to detail, and tender care infused in every step of the experience. Let me tell you, Kelly has the hands and vibe of a goddess. She is strong, gentle, and nurturing all at the same time with her magically soft hands! I have been having some really stressful weeks and I know she could sense it—the massage I received from her was so intentional, I could feel her focus and love with every motion. Jessica also gave me the most rejuvenating facial afterward that involved wonderfully relaxing face, scalp, arm, and leg massages. The products she used are the absolute tops, and she really knew how to take care of my skin and leave me glowing, all the while providing helpful feedback in my skincare routine and a free sample of product when I left! I can’t wait to come back again to experience the joys and heated massage tables of Basalt. If you’re on the fence, just do it. You won’t regret treating yourself!

I absolutely love Basalt Day Spa! I’ve been coming here for a year now. I used to do my facials with Jessica but she left and now I do my facials with Rachel! She’s freaking amazing. This spa is clean, professional, friendly, and reasonably price for what’s included. The rooms are dim and the essential oil diffuser, the calming wave music, and the bamboo decor adds to the overall spa experience! I highly recommend the Rejuvenate and the Glow facials. They both include massages which is my favorite to pair with facials! You will absolutely love your skin after your appointment. Can’t guarantee you won’t fall asleep. It’s that relaxing! I’ve added a facial and a massage from Basalt Day Spa as my monthly self-care routine! Fyi, for parking, there is a parking lot next to Basalt Day Spa building. You don’t need to park in front of the building. (Those spots are usually taken or can be dangerous when pulling out based on where they are and the constant construction in that area).

I visited Basalt after my husband gifted me a massage and facial for my birthday, and I had to make sure I called out the incredible staff, and experience they gave! I have to start with the atmosphere at the spa, it was welcoming, smelled incredible, and just gave you a wave of relaxation as soon as you walked up the steps. The massage I had with Reilly was nothing short of perfect, she was so fun and had me laughing the whole time, while simultaneously giving an incredible massage. She also gave me some tips on how to fix my posture while studying, and create less tension, overall leaving me relaxed and confident! The facial I had with Erin was so relaxing, and left my face refreshed, hydrated, and actually glowing. After the facial, she took the time to recommend products that would leave similar effects, but with long-lasting results. Both of these gals were so kind, I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about them, and I can't wait to visit again soon!

My boyfriend bought be a gift card here, when I scheduled to go, there was construction all around for at least 1 block, there was no way to park. No notice of construction online or anything when booking my appointment. So I called to verify they were open, they said just park away from the construction and walk. I decided to cancel the appointment due to the inconvenience of parking, which Basalt now said to cancel, they took half of the charge for the appointment like 125$ since booking a 250$ maternity massage. Never been here before but now I will see what I can get for half the price, but um I'm sure I was already picking the cheapest massage . Probably would have to spend more money to get the one I wanted. Idk if I plan on scheduling again, and they don't do refunds on the gift card. I probably would have rescheduled if they didnt charge so much for canceling. Like that's a lot of money.

I had a rejuvenate facial with restore and revive add ons this last week with Hayley and I have to say without exaggerating that this was the most luxurious relaxing and thorough facial I’ve ever had. It’s five days later and my skin is absolutely glowing. I’m trying to figure out how I can budget in a monthly facial here because it was just so stellar. The spa is darling,smells great, and they have all kinds of cute gifts and trinkets in their shop. I could not recommend this spot and my aesthetician Hayley enough. My husband had the same facial and said the exact same thing. We were both blown away by the quality and service here. Prices seemed in line with higher end day spas and seemed very reasonable for what we got. Parking was easy. We just parked in the neighborhood on the street with no problem.

Exceptional!! I’ve had lots of mediocre massages and then…. I had Heather as my therapist for a birthday treat to myself in December. It was incredible!! There were multiple warm towels and hot stones and more warm towels. The pricing is reasonable, the facility is beautiful, clean, quiet and tranquil. Also I noticed they allow plenty of time to turn over the room in between appointments so you’re not feeling rush to get dressed and get out of the room. That detail right there is very important to the entire experience. Don’t rush me out of my bliss state! I’ll be a regular for sure!

Had my first visit and wow was it such a great experience! As soon as you walk in its very nice, clean, and welcoming. Every at the front desk was easy to work with over the phone and in person. I was paired up with Michelle and she had a wealth of knowledge to share with me about what Basalt specializes in to tend to my needs. This was the first time I've left a spa actually feeling a real difference. I rarely go to spas, and when I do I have not been loyal to the same one. With Basalt, I will be returning and recommending their services to everyone. Thank you!

We went here for our bachelorette event and it was the most spectacular idea my fiancée and I ever had. We booked Don’t Worry, Be Happy which was definitely appropriately named since we came in exhausted and left with such a positive outlook. My facial therapist asked me about my preferences, and made sure not to over exfoliate for our big day. And it felt so nice. Everyone was so kind and helpful, treating us to the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience, just before our wedding that evening. Thank you for the most wonderful bridal experience!

At the last minute my boss gifted me a glow facial Thursday evening. The moment I stepped into the spa I was met with soothing smells and a relaxing atmosphere. Lana helped me pick the cutest earrings from the boutique (my boss had called and told her to have me pick out something special). The glow facial literally left my skin glowing. Hayley has magical hands and is so knowledgeable about products-recommending specific ingredients for some of my problem areas. I can’t wait to come back and have another magical and amazing experience at Basalt!

From FL and I went to UT for hiking & exploring. On our last day we, my bf and I, were looking for a vegan friendly spa and came across this place. We were so glad we were able to get some last minute facials done, I would recommended scheduling ahead but the service and experience was amazing. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Our facialist was Erin and she was well informed and super friendly. If I lived in UT, I would be coming here once a month. Again, it was a beautiful experience and I wish I could go back to do it again!

Erin M. Is an experienced aesthetician and provides a knowledgeable and full service facial. She not only provides excellent product knowledge during the facial, but her expertise is unsurpassed. In addition, BDS has very comfortable tables which makes it easy to relax. Erin made sure to check in with me during the hour to ensure I was doing and feeling great. I have had many facials and this was one of the best. My skin has never looked better nor brighter. I highly recommend Basalt Day Spa and Erin M.’s service.

My experience at Basalt was nothing short of luxurious! The kind people there didn't overlook a single detail when designing the spa and creating the services. I booked an exfoliating scrub and massage with Demi and the whole thing was amazing!! Demi was wonderful and I immediately felt comfortable and cared for. I been going to Basalt since they opened! I just love Basalt! I get my brows waxed, body scrubs, massages and facials there! Hands down best facials ever! Erin does my facials every time! She’s just amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable about skin and products! I enjoy talking to her about it all. She’s always customizes my facials based on my skin’s needs. Booked a last minute massage appointment with them and it was such an amazing experience. The receptionist that booked my appointment over the phone was very accommodating and helpful and when I checked in for my appointment everyone was so warm and welcoming! I have been here 2 times for the lift service. Overall I like. The only part I don’t understand is the hand/foot massage that is included in facial service, because we know very well it’s not actually massage. I’ll prefer instead of that, get actual face massage. We pay for facial and want to get full facial service.

Just had my first massage from Kelli and it was amazing! I have been traveling for the past couple of weeks and was in need of a good massage to release a ton of tightening. She was really good at knowing the areas that needed it the most and was gentle at the same time. I will definitely be going again!

I had the 90 Minute Detox with Kelli and it was fabulous. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I’ve had massage from California to South Carolina to Key West probably totaling 35 different therapists. Kelli ranks in the top 3. She had strong hands and wonderful technique.
