It’s a very nice park but I kept finding shards of glass in the playground area which was really concerning. The playground is appropriate for kids a little older - maybe 5 yrs + - as there are some pretty big climbing pieces. My 2 year old struggled & needed help with a lot of it. We left after about 20 minutes because of the glass.

Small park with beautiful trees, shrubs, plants. Great for family outings, cookouts, great kids play scape, basketball court redone in the last few years, walking trail surrounds the park and it's great for exercise and fun in the sun. I also like reading under the gazebo on a quiet but breezy afternoon.

Really nice park and playground. BUT there was a group of bums that were getting high and drinking at the tables. They got really loud and vulgar. Had to take my kids and leave immediately. Super disappointed. The kids were really excited to play, and bad people made it an unsafe place.

Welcoming happy place. Ideal for families with small children, youth, young adults. The place is very clean and well prepared to receive pets and small children ( nice safe playground). Perfect place for relaxing, reading and possibly meditation. Recommend. Will go back. More

Not ideal in the mornings, homeless folks sleep on the table under the gazebo and literally pee by the kids play ground and literally poo by the tree line just behind. Bball court keeps getting muddy and becomes very slick after all dries up

Battlebend has been around for a long time since I was a kid it's one of the most safest and cleanest parks In Austin. It's in a neighborhood but anyone can go there, back in the 90s it wasn't as kept up as it is now I would definantly rate

Good playground with some rock climbing walls and rope bridge with gaps. It has some spinning cups and a swing set with a special needs swing. Its pretty exposed so get there in the morning if its hot. They just added a new walkway with a

Very nice park. Looked redone recently. Kids loved the park but mom had to tell some homeless guys to get bent who were trying to talk to my 13 year old son. All were high but all 3 left when they could tell I wasn't happy with them being

Even though it's a nice park with really cool climbing structures, everything (bars, steps, etc) for climbing is too spaced out for short little legs. My toddler is a surprisingly good climber for her age and if the bars and steps were

I take my pup there every morning. During the week it is not crowded and we can play ball for a bit. The only downside is people don't seem to pick up after their pets on the back side of the park, even though there are bags available.

Great little park but there appears to be too many homeless people. There is a short walking path, playground and basketball court. My husband saw human feces on the playground. The park is located off S. Congress Ave.

I really like this park with the exception that there are not restrooms. I went to visit a close friend and stopped here for a few minutes for the kids to enjoy. Everything else is great about the park.

I play basketball at BBEND at least 3x/week. Nice for a public park. Court has great paint job. Colors are well defined. The foul lines, 3 arc, etc stand out and were measured properly.

Beautiful park. Grass is cut and no stickers. Dog friendly. Playground area is clean and looks very new. Located in a great area that is safe and quiet. Good place to bring the family.

I just drive by the park leaving home and going back home. I know they took the basketball rims down so no one can hoop anymore since this pandemic has gotten so bad. More

Nice quiet park. Took my dog out to play fetch. The only concern was the grass was pretty tall. Luckily, my dog has tick and flea repellent.

Love it because it's in my neighborhood, wish there were fewer transients as I hang out with toddlers. I have to be that much more vigilant

Pretty but again like most parks in Austin, tx they don't have public restrooms, children always have to use it and there's none......

  • Zoë Welch

Great little park. Nice scenery considering it's in the industrial part of town. With a basketball court across from the play ground.

  • Alexander Smith

Well lit, well amenitied public park in Elmwood Park. We had a great time playing Frisbee near the baseball diamond after work.

Great park, nice playground - but zero parking and the playground is almost always empty ☹️

It's a neighborhood park. Has basketball courts and covered area. Good for a picnic.

This neighborhood is cute and tucked away. But these speed bumps are unnecessary.
