Baymeadows laundry is very clean, the agents have great customer service, they do such a great job. I always look forward to get my laundry cleaned every week. My number one laundry. Am always satisfied!!!! Kudos to all the staff at baymeadows laundry!!? It's still my favorite laundry!!!! The best laundry service!!! I tried using another laundry before and the service was nothing like I was getting at baymeadows laundry. I went back to my baymeadows laundry. I can't go wrong with them. Am a happy customer. Keep getting harassed to leave a review and I’ve been waiting 6 months to leave a decent one but I’ve been going here for over a year. When I started coming here it was great customer service I would laugh with them and they seemed pleasant. However, it has since gone drastically downhill. For 6 months I’ve only gotten a few texts to let me know my wash & fold is ready, it’s typical for them to forget about me. I give plenty of time because they are usually slow. I usually give them plenty of time. Sometimes my clothes feel itchy and then I find out they didn’t use the hypoallergenic detergent. I come almost every week. This past week, was horrid. I dropped it off at 11 am with Justin and I said I needed it the same night. he told me that it would be ready by 8 pm. I came back at 11 pm that was a 12 hour difference and it wasn’t done. There were two ladies there and both looked confused. I asked when it would be ready and they both looked at me with deer in the headlights. So I asked again if it would be ready by 5 am because I needed the clothes for work. I pick it up the next morning and she apologized for the mix up. I thought it was over but someone else’s stuff was in my basket. So the next day I returned to hand the pillow case off and the lady behind the counter went off on me. Talking down to me saying your order won’t be a few days this time and we are backed up. I am a regular customer every week I bring about the same amount of clothes and the price is always higher and higher. Shady unreliable dirty place. Horrible customer service. Unwelcoming owner. Gives you dirty looks. I have a $15 card from their machines that I haven’t used because their machines smell like cat urine. What’s even worse is I’ve been having an allergic reaction to their lack of acknowledgement of my sensitivity to the detergent but it goes in one ear and out the other. Lost a customer that paid for the extra service every week. Good riddance. I never want to come back here unless they change management. Clean the place up and start treating people with more respect.

I was here on 04/06/17 around 11:00 a.m. It was not busy, very clean and had plenty of parking out front in the 15 minute area as well as the parking lot. This was a new experience for me, as I have not been in a laundromat in probably 37 years with my Mom when I was a kid. Everything has changed, but the experience was quite pleasant. The washers and dryers were clean and did a FAST great job (which is awesome!). If you're new, be sure to bring $1 bill so you can purchase a "wash and dry" card that you'll put money on to use in all of the washers & dryers. It was GREAT, NO QUARTERS, lol! I never stopped the dryers to check the clothes, but if you do and need to "add more time" to the dryer for .25 (off your card) - you must do so before the cycle ends or you have to purchase another 30 minutes:) *****The Attendant was the best part. I had no clue what I was doing. The automated card machines were not working properly, of course I did not bring a $1.00 bill, I had to leave and come back because even though they had an ATM, I had a card that I didn't know the pin to. Anyway, The attendant was EXTREMELY helpful to me and the other patrons. She was able to reset the wash and dry card machines and make them work. Since I was alredy not having a great day, the wash and dry card I was issued did not work, and she tested it and it was just a bad card, so she got me a new one. My washer will hopefully be repaired soon, but until it is I don't mind that this is where I will go to wash my family's laundry! Thank you for keeping a nice clean facility open all of the time for everyone's laundry needs! I was there a long time and by the time (my sick kid home from school) and I left it was a bit busier. But even with more people and other children - everyone was very pleasant and the children were very well behaved. Have a Blessed Day!

This place is garbage. They have a card system that only works with cash to recharge because the card never works on their machines. Luckily they added an atm machine next to it that charges you $3 for your convenience. Don't worry they will find more ways to nickel and dime you. Next they will probably lock up those carts like at the airport and charge you to use them. Edit... Came back to give them a chance. Tried to recharge my card with $20. The machine kept spitting it out. So I kept turning the bill, straightening, and flipping it. Then it took my money with out putting it on the card because the machine timed out as I was putting it in. Waited a minute to see if it would spitting my money back out it didn't. So I walked to get the lady working there. As we walk to the machine it spits out the $20 with a gentleman standing in front of it. She starts telling me I didn't flip the bill and try to insert it. Then why did it take my money? Why would I need her assistance? I proceed to tell her the machine system is garbage and she tells me, "If I don't like it the door is right there." After this load I will take her advice. Standing here it's obvious the machine is garbage from multiple people having issues with it. When customers give you feedback you should take it instead of treating them like a number. I don't "complain" for hand outs. I give you feed back so you can fix the problem.

Okay since Google will not allow more than one review per business I am amending my prior review to speak out one employee imparticular, Yvette. This lady works the third shift and let me just say she is ALWAYS a joy when I come in, as my preferred time is usually 5 am. Last week I was in two days in a row and each time I came she was cleaning to make sure we had a nice place to do our laundry she even took the time to clean the tops of the detergent dispenser and snack machines. I asked her what would make you clean up there and she said dust accumulates everywhere. That let me know the type of work ethic that she has because those are the types of things you do when no one is looking. Kudos to the management/owners for having the smarts to hire this caliber of employee. She really does your business proud! I've been coming to this laundromat for 2 years and I love this place. I typically come in early in the morning and the place is always kept extremely clean. The night attendants have been knowledgeable and always personable. The owners really got it right. I highly recommend this place.

Not from around town. First of all you have to spend $1 to buy a card to work the machine. Does not take cash. After you buy your card that you had to pay for a dollar. You have to put money into a machine or use a credit card. If you use a credit card the minimum amount you can put on is $5. Then on top of that they screw you by making you pay a 1.85 to start the dryer. And then if you want more time after that it's $0.25 for 4 minutes. Be forewarned I did a load of laundry and that washer does not spin out your clothes very well where they come out soaking wet so they make you have to spend more money to dry. Note to self not to use this facility next time in the area. Updated thanks for your reply back it's not necessary the convenience it's that they have to charge you a dollar to use a machine. And then on top of that instead of putting an even number you make a dollar 85 to start a dryer instead of a $0.25 increment. But somebody's always got to have to hand out get that extra dollar out of somebody. When people are trying to survive and struggle enough as it is!!!

Positives 1) The washers/dryers seem maintained and work sufficiently. 2) 24hr is very nice for people with odd schedules. 3) Well lit and calm atmosphere inside. Negatives 1) It can be expensive depending on what you're washing. 2) Website claims there is a "Drop and Pick up" service. There is no mention of it inside, no price list, and when I asked the person at the counter, they weren't aware of it. 3) The $$card kiosks don't always work properly and are a little confusing. Use a Credit or Debit card if you can and *GET A RECEIPT* for every transaction. ^^ (3a) ^^ I used a $20 bill to load my card. It kept the money, didn't load on the card, and the person couldn't retrieve it, wouldn't refund me, nor would they credit my card because I couldn't prove it. Two people watched me as it happened and there's a camera directly facing the kiosk, but she wouldn't help... Cool, thanks... ★Conclusion: For laundry it's not a bad place, just not great. Doubt we'll be returning.

This has been my experience: Dryers do not dry, washers overflow and dump water on the floor. When these issues are brought to owner/management's attention, they blame the customer for overloading the machine or choosing the wrong setting (not the case). Very rude and condescending. New staff members are consistently left alone so when there is an issue, they have no idea how to handle it. If you go at night, be prepared to have drunk people from the bar next door causing a rukus and smoking at the door, causing all of your freshly washed clothes to stink. Employees leave shows on that are inappropriate when children are present. They spend more time watching TV than picking up the plethora of trash that accumulates after the mid day crowd. I do not recommend the laundromat at all. It is worth the drive to go to Riverside to Blue Wave for us. Better to be out gas than deal with this place.

Very clean!, professional laundry mat! on the Southside of town. Came in at 530 with a medium load, and took less the an hour and thirty to be done! Very nice staff, very helpful and friendly and pleasant! Will be coming back again!! Update: 4/24/2021 6:09pm NOT LEAVING ANOTHER REVIEW FOR A FREE WASH/DRY! Lol Came back from out of town....and. I have to say, remember I had a free wash and dry I didn’t use...well. Today was the day I decided to cash in on it. Was half expecting to be told “sorry sir, it expired. Do to it being so long ago.” Oh boy, was I wrong! Came in, showed my review/ID and in less then 10mins was throwing my clothes in to a washer for FREE!! :) Businesses is booming! because it’s a affordable, clean professional establishment! If you don’t like the crowds (because this place is awesome and people know it!) I would suggest coming in early morning late afternoon.

This place is awesome!! Im in the middle of moving and have had everything in a hotel room and in my car. With everything else I have juggling in my head, using a laundromat for the first time sorta gave me anxiety. From the moment I came in, however, Yvette, who was working the front desk, was extremely helpful. She detailed exactly what to do and what to expect with each machine. She even let me know what size washer to use by simply glancing at my box of clothes, hahaha. The place is extremely clean. No obnoxious smells of any kind. I was very much impressed by the service and relieved by the quality of cleanliness of the establishment. Nd chatting with Yvette definitely brought my stress level down.

Jackson was super helpful! Came in late, sick and tired (literally), and basically had to have him walk me through the process like I was new to doing laundry. Not proud of it but it’s been one of those days. He was super informative, even though he’s fairly new to the job. Even called his manager when I couldn’t get my card to work since we didn’t know what to do! I felt like a total idiot but he was super kind about it all. Hopefully working customer service doesn’t break his good character lol. Really deserves a shoutout. Even though I couldn’t get my problem immediately resolved, which is kind of annoying, I totally get how people could scam a front desk worker & respect their policy on that.

Before writing my review, I first read the other reviews and am completely surprised that someone gave this a 1 star review. I have been coming to this establishment once a week, every week for well over a year now. I have always found the facility cleaner than any other laundromat I've EVER encountered. Not only that, the staff have gone out of their way to make sure that I am happy and always ask if I need anything, and even helping me fold my king sized sheets, if I ask. I would highly recommend this facility (and have) to anyone. They have TVs with cable (and have offered to let me watch what I want), free Wi-Fi, and snack machines. What's not to love?

The place and the machines are always clean and the variety of machine sizes make it easy for every customer and every type of wash. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Even when my daughter had an issue with 1 of the vending machines (which I know they don't own but the point is) the Laundromat attendant promptly resolved it. I will say i was hoping to get a couple of loads done so I'm a bit disappointed that they are closed on Xmas eve and Xmas. The place is fully automated so there would be no real need for the staff to be present if we simply wanted to use the machines (as opposed to drop-off / pick-up service) but a well deserved 4 stars.

I been washing here for years its nice and spacious. A lot of place to fold your clothes. This past months washing my clothes here and it smell stink like a sour sweat I thought it was that particular washer so I tried a different one the next time. I never change my detergent or fabric softener everything smells good when pulled from drier but when I wear it to work I smell that sourness even my towels when I dry my self after shower my towel is sticking sour when it gets wet on the first use.......now I'm driving extra miles just to wash my clothes..management must tamper the rinse cycle to save water

Best laundry I have ever been to! They have huge machines and they even have a debit card machine ($1 Fee, but for the convenience, well worth it) I came here at 5 am with soap, 60 pounds of clothing and a debit card. I thought It was going to be a hassle but luckily, Ruth was here, full of energy! She walked me through the different machines/and options in detail. Thank you Ruth!! Your attention to detail is greatly appreciated! By the way, this place is extremely clean and has everything you need to get the job done.

Excellent service! I had to travel to Jacksonville for an unexpected trip. The hotel I was staying at didn’t offer laundry service (Covid) but I wanted to make sure I had clean clothes before leaving. I called and spoke with the very friendly staff and they assured me that they could take care of it for me. Incredibly helpful staff, fast service and very affordable. I don’t live in Jacksonville but if I did I would just drop off my laundry there every week! Definitely recommended it to my sister that lives there!

I’ve been a long time customer that hasn’t had the need for a laundromat for 4years until recently. You wouldn’t think that an employee at a laundromat would be doing much of anything at 2am, but Yvette takes pride in her job. She notices even the smallest details when it comes to keeping the place clean. I took notice and realized it’s a much cleaner place today than it was when I was a regular 4 years ago. You need an endorsement, take this to the bank Baymeadows 24 hr laundromat is the best in the southeast!

I had been going here for a while but this last time was my last. The machine to reload my card ate my money and then the associate on duty said she couldn’t do anything about it. The clothes after the wash smelled of human and pet urine suggesting someone previously wanted fowl laundry without any precautions or cleaning before or after. The dryers also were exceptionally lousy causing them to just be a cash drain. This place used to be good but I’ll be finding somewhere else from now on.

I feel as though one of these reviewers has never done laundry properly before. I had no issue packing the giant load machines with my towels and blankets. The clothes are clean and the dryers are quite fast actually. There is no issue with water running onto the floor so I'm really confused by one of these reviews. The establishment is clean and the staff is quite friendly. I am a 25 year old pregnant woman and I feel very safe here. Will be back again soon with more blankets and towels!!

We’ve never been here but dropped off 2 comforters that didn’t fit in our machine. The lady there got all my info and was very nice, and said it was 21 lbs- so around $30. The sign was $1.45/lb for wash and fold. She said the girl who did the washing wasn’t there, but would call once done. I got a text the same night that they were ready and the total was $65. Went the next morning and the flat rate for a comforter is $30- not $1.45/lb. Just a heads up to anyone who brings in a comforter.

I had to make a trip to the laundromat due to my washing machine going out which I wasn't to Happy about. However, when I got there I was Ok because I walked into a very clean environment, I was greeted with a smile by this lady named Yvette. She was so helpful in my decision with the best size machine to use for the amount of laundry I had. Up to standards! This facility is a decent size with different size washers and dryers. Theres an attendant on sight even at 10:30pm. The machines are commercial standard. I used a super load machine [says it is equal to 4 loads] it cost me $5.15 for that wash. A bit higher than I'd like but not too bad! The dryers are $1.75 for 30 minutes, and .25 after that. Again the dryers have different size levels. Only thing i would suggest is more seating for the waiting customers.

Awesome laundromat! !!! People are very professional .... employees treat you like you walk into their living room and you are family. Bilingual (English and Spanish ), open 24 hrs, uses a card system (can be loaded with cash or credit/debit card ). Clean facilities, machines and restroom. You could eat off their floor it's so clean. Best time time spend loading laundry ever! Thank you for being so kind courteous, especially since it was my first time at the laundromat :)

Very nice facilities and friendly staff. Must use a card for the machines and the card itself is $1. Once you register the card you get the $1 back as credit towards your laundry. There are not many 24 hour locations left so if you need late night laundry done the place is great but it’s very expensive. Wash and dry The part of town isn’t bad but there is a bar right next door and it can get pretty loud the closer to closing it gets and lots of drunk people outside.

I came here a little skeptical of the area at midnight on a Saturday night as a female by herself, honestly the guy behind the counter made me feel ridiculously comfortable from the get-go let alone extremely helpful and attentive. The prices very between the size of the machine that you need I honestly did 3 plus months of laundry in three machines. Could not be happier, highly recommend this place to do your laundry to anyone and will definitely be coming back!

Pro's: clean facility, friendly staff, nice neighborhood Cons: more expensive than any other we've used (2.95 for a single load; 1.75 for 30 min. drying); requires you to buy a cash card for $1, and add in increments of $1 after we started the washer it changed the setting from warm to cold (on its own) and we had to change it back; after starting the dryer it changed the setting from hot to cold - we didn't catch this and paid 1.75 for 30 minutes of cold air :^(

Had used facilities prior and when I had a weighted blanket that needed to be cleaned I remembered how nice everyone was on my initial visit - so I thought great way to find out how the drop off service was. Went in and Gloria was fantastic! She explained everything so I would know what to expect and when. So I just left, after discovering that you need to purchase a refillable card, which is useless for me because I don’t live here. ****and to clarify they are useless because I will not ever use the card again, so I will want a refund of the price I paid for the card itself, not just the remaining balance**** Also they say they don’t wash undergarments for their wash and fold service. That’s a first. I guess this is a snobby Laundromat.

I arrived at Baymeadows laundry around 5 a.m. last week. The facility was brightly lit and the machines were SPOTLESS. I found the whole place to be cleaner than many fast food restaurants around town. If an article of clothing fell on the floor, I didn't feel like I had to wash it again or throw it away. The refillable card is better than trying to deal with coins. The young man holding down the fort was friendly and helpful.

Best laundromat ever !! my husband and I love doing laundry at this location because they have all size of machines and it always nice and clean . I love that we don’t need coins. The card system is very easy to use and everyone in there are really nice...they also have a wash dry& fold service that works very well for my husband and I when we need other things to do... I definitely recommend this laundromat .

Love this laundrymat. the manager helped in such a respectful way on how to use these new high tech machines. Love the cleanness of the facility and the happy coworkers. Facility's like this need managers like her who love there personal work space. Noticed a young man who came in after her who was also very polite. She stayed late we communicated for a while and she greater me as I left. I will be back!!!

Just went in to Baymeadows Laundry and was greated with a smile from (I didn't get the gentleman's name) who works there. He was helpful, courteous and smiling. For a laundry experience this was nice. Washers and dryers worked great and $20 for 3 dries and 2 washes was a good price in my book. If our dryer goes out again we will come back for sure. I didn't feel like I was at a laundromat. Thanks again.

I moved to the Baymeadows area a little over and year ago and fell in love with this laundry facility. The staff are very courteous and helpful. They have Wifi, vending machines including and coffee machine that I take full advantage of every time I go there. I have to wash my clothes every other day or two days due to my work environment and just always find my experiences to be great ones.

Excellent! My laundry machine at home unexpectedly went out and I have to wait 2 weeks for a new one to arrive. Meanwhile, I went to Landromart to do 2 loads of laundry and the service was Excellent. The worker was very helpful as I had no idea how to use the machines. I'm heading back today with a bunch more loads. They have machines that can take up to 8 loads at a time:) Love it!

I hate doing laundry, like most people I find it boring and tedious. However I enjoyed it greatly at the LayndroMart lol. The staff were very friendly and did not think twice to help me set up my money card and in ways show me how to use the washer and dryer properly. The service is fast was in and out with an hour. Very clean and well locates, would recommend this place to anyone .

Great 24hr laundromat. Well maintained business, plenty of machines, reasonably priced per wash. Great option for those who don’t want the hotel to do their laundry. These machines require you to first get your laundry card (free), load it with funds, and then use the card on the machines. Can keep adding funds to top up the card. The card never seems to expire, so don’t lose it.

I came at 3:30 am. The guy working there was helpful assisting me with the card system. The store was clean and quiet I felt safe. This was the most expensive laundromat I've ever been to (why I gave only 4 stars) but overall it was a good experience and I'm satisfied. If I ever need to do some late-night laundry again I'll probably be back to this one.

It’s clean and smells nice… except for the patio restaurant next door that attracts smokers!!!! Using the $5/fill minimum it cost me $25 to wash a comforter and a weighted blanket. That seems a little steep but the dry cleaner refused the weighted blanket so there I was. So now my blankets smell amazing and I smell like and idiot smoker! Shower time.

First visit 9/13/18. Loved it! Be aware they use a card system for payment but anything left on your card and $1 card cost is refundable. I kept card and balance as I am going to make this my new go to laundry destination. VERY CLEAN, lots of machines, attendant on duty, great dryers, and more laundry carts than I have ever seen in a laundry before!

Very happy with the work that was done. The price to launder a bedspread was ridiculous! I paid more than $40 to have it done. They should’ve given me an alternative to do it myself instead of having it done by the laundromat. I’m sure I could’ve saved a lot of money except the people at the laundromat did not volunteer any information

The machines have mildew all over them. It's 2.95 for a small load and up to 7.95 for a big load. The dryer barely worked after putting more than 1.75 for the regular 30 minute dry. The bathroom was disgusting, over all, never coming here again and I will definitely take advantage of the one closer to home thats cheaper and WAY nicer.

This is such a good laundromat! My boyfriend and I always seem to find our way here late at night. I have never felt unsafe. Everything is clean, they’re very friendly and accommodating. I’m very picky with my laundry, so this is great praise. If you’re looking for affordable, clean, safe, and friendly then this is the place to go.

The service was absolutely amazing! The best Customer service you could get just a amazing experience. Not to Mention the manager Gloria she is wonderful and so polite. 5 stars for the cleanliness of this laundromat, as well as good seating! I travel full time right now for work, and that involves going to quite a few laundromats... this one far exceeds all the others I've been to. Plenty of tables for folding and laundry carts as well. If I was in Jacksonville again I would use this one again!

This laundromat is clean, well maintained, efficient, and excellently run. I was in town on business and needed to get clothes washed. I used the drop off service. The staff was friendly and courteous. They had my clothes done faster than I expected. If you need a good drop off / wash and fold type service, this is your place!

It can get pricey for the larger machines, there is obvious mildew covering the inside of the rubber soap reservoir lid, and the staff is a bit brusque. Overall, though, the place seems to be maintained to a passable standard. Machines are always working at least. Even when the overheated dryers will only dry 5 min at a time.

I love getting my laundry done here full service. The cost is great ! But on two occasions I was told by the lady at the front desk that she did not want to take my clothes if it was a lot. I am willing to pay any amount…. But I continuously turned down because I have “ a lot of clothes to wash” and she doesn’t have time .

This place is bad for your health. There were a dozen people inside, I was the only one in a face mask other than the woman with it around her chin while she coughed all over the place. The attendant had no interest in asking patrons to wear a mask and there were no signs posted. Is clean laundry worth the potential risk?

I really like this place. It's open 24 hours so I can go when it's convenient for me, they have a variety of washers for different size loads and prices and two full walls of dryers. The attendant also has laundry products for sale if you forgot anything. They have nice tvs hung up and plenty of snack/drink machines.

I have been taking my laundry here for several years now. They are very reasonable, well priced, and take good care of your clothes. It is in a good location and the Management is very friendly and they are great people. Highly recommended for anyone looking for laundry service or just a place to do your own quickly.

I came here at 6:30 in the morning, and it was so clean and nice, and I felt very safe. It’s so convenient being able to do my laundry anytime of day! The guy working was very nice and helpful too! I am in the process of moving from Ohio, and I will definitely use this place until I have my own washer and dryer!

Went here late at night (around 11) with a friend. There's a crowd of people outside the bar next door, but didn't feel unsafe at all. They've got attendants on site, places to sit and wait. The machines are pretty quick, and prices are pretty standard. Will be back here when I need to wash my oversized items.

Have been here to do my own wash but needed the wash dry fold service and couldn't be happier. Quite frankly I think the folded better then me. Clothes smell great and look great. Fast turn around time. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you for having this service available and having a nice clean place.

Absolutely love this place. Been going here for about 3 years now and it's definitely a life saver. I'll miss it once we get our washer and dryer. They have vending machines, an espresso machine and even an old arcade game. Plenty of different sized washers and plenty of dryers. Would definitely recommend.

Nice laundromat. Very clean. Prices are reasonable. You have to us a laundromat card when using the machines or purchasing laundry items. You can load money on to the card using either cash or debit card. Make sure to go early on the weekend. Took me about two hours to wash and dry six loads of clothes.

Yvette is amazing! First time yo use a laundromat in the US! Was worried about cleanliness and safety since I visited it at 4AM! I usually go during the day or early evening. Have had a great experience. I wouldn't suggest late night no parking lot lighting bar next door. So the night experience was way different. Overall a great place to wash clothes if you want to sit in your car. Not enough seats ever.

Place is always clean and I have never had an issue with the machines. Has a card system instead of a coin set-up. Always has a sign on a machine if one is down which I rarely see. Next to a Walmart neighborhood market place as well. Not a bad place

They do not allow washing of dog beds. I can see why some places would not, but I can also see how they can easily sanitize the machines every so often. I’ll have to take my business elsewhere who will allow an easy wash.

Yvette the 3rd shift laundry attendant is very nice and each time I go it is always clean and neat when she is working. I prefer to do my laundry in the early mornings around 1 am when its not as crowded or busy.

Expensive! Also, you're forced to use a card, rather than quarters. Therefore you'll always have lost money on the card. It is quite clean and most of the staff is friendly.
