Dirty yellow mattresses no fitted sheets only provided two sheets for each bed no blankets. fridge in room 110 does not work well all you're food will go bad within three days raspberries strawberry cherries vegetables esparagus milk meat everything will be in the garbage unless u don't mind mold on you're food as well they don't allow u to utilize the vanity in the bathroom also the closet is not accessible because someone put a sad fringe an TV blocking the closet an last but not least if u inquire about the room they will say it's one of the best rooms so this will make u grateful for it not being worse an u will feel very insecure because when u leave the hired help will come an change you're sheets even though u just changed the the day before weard I was there with my child an we were told that they did not have staff to clean room or change beds that it was only Going to be cleaned one every two weeks if we're lucky when the help finally comes they will ask u if need anything they will give u new sheets if u ask an ask they will ask u to strip the beds an bring they sheets to the office they will not touch you're sheets u will need to place them in a little plastic container if u give any food to the owner to keep frozen because the fridge u have is too little they may not actually put it in the fridge they may forget an let it melt on the top of the fridge then scratch the head infrustration with no compensation offered the worst part is that if u have anything u don't whant to disappear well good luck apparently I was told that in all the years they have bein in biseness they never had one situation were something disappeared lol they are very good with words. I cleaned the room myself an it was horrible it looked like It had not bein cleaned in years just very light cleaning they have washed the floor twice in one month changed the beds once an never cleaned the microwave or the fridge maybe this is just the way people need to be treated if u try an help people they simply will take advantage of you're kindness. I recommend u simply try an make yourself invisible because we are not welcome or even supost to breath air without permission make shure u ask before u even do anything pictures with time dates an other people's bein aware will not even help. Very depressing degrading an sad as hell Although if u look the other people's have new beds clean nicer floors more windows two wife's 5 kids three rooms an three cars three rooms an nice blankets fitted sheets perhaps u need to be a certain cultural looking person to be treated good or at the least humainlly. We are part native an part inuit it's really weard.

The hotel is older. Cracked floor. Electrical is sketchy. Top sheet stained.. All of which I could deal with for an 80$motel in ottawa.. But when the housekeeping staff starts telling you to close your windows.. that's just downright rude.. We arrived checked in front staff was polite.. got into the room.. on first glance seemed ok older. A little worn with age but bonus white bedding. Upon further view there was no thermostat in room and top sheet was stained. Sheets were nice and crisp however. Hotel room had significant perfume smell and though non smoking retained a distinct cigarette smell and was very warm around 72.. much warmer than we are accustomed to..nothing that a good airing wouldn't make good for us so instead of complaining we opened the windows to our room and blocked off the vents we could find in the room. Some busbodied lady carrying room and cleaning supplies stops to lecture us on letting hot air out of the room. And went on for a good length of time.. even after I explained my allergies and us being unaccustomed to the heat (55 being our usual) and lack of thermostat. A fan dosent fix a almost 20 degree temperature difference. We aren't unreasonable. The hotels aged but has made the attempt to have white bedding and works with what it's has but bad manners can never be excused. We won't be back, for the price spend 10$ more and go somewhere where without a harpie for a Housekeeper.
New review: I stayed at the beacon hill motel for 3 months. (129) From the end of August to the beginning of November. It was such a comfortable stay, the bed was nice, the rooms where cleaned regularly and the lovely ladies who clean the room made sure everything was nice and fresh. I felt very comfortable and that's a big thing for me since I have a baby. Anytime I needed anything I just gave a call to the front and the owners where very quick to deliver. With winter approaching I was worried if the room would be warm enough. Let me tell you, it was! I found myself opening the windows quite often. If your looking for a place to stayi definitely recommend the beacon hill motel. They are renovating and it's starting to look amazing. Thank you guys for making the stay comfterbale and best of luck!

In my 30 years of existence I've never been to a more disgusting place. I was raised half my life in west Africa and this baby takes the cake! Room had a dirty towel on TV stand. Smelled of mold and cheap native cigarettes. Floor was warped and uneven in spots. Shower was dirty. Shampoo and conditioner were already used! The bed .... OH GOD.... the was beyond uncomfortable, squeaky and dirty. Wanted to reach reception and after a few attempts we realized that the phone was not even plugged in. Thank god it wasn't an emergency! Room was very small, which is Ok for the cost, but I would not pay more than $50 for the overall experience. Though staff was reasonable. At this point bring your own sheets and towel for your safety.
When we saw the room we were disappointed especially for 3.7 on 5 rating. The room seemed clean but with a closer look the bed sheets were stained, the bed was squeeky, the floor poping out, the fridge very noisy and rusty, the shower tap was loose and leaking and we had to figure out best position to stop the water, no garbage bin in the bathroom. Not to mention the very very bouncy uncomfortable bed. Their famous free breakfast was given to us at check in day before and i was a wrapped muffin and peach cocktail and yogurt. Overall, will never return even if its the only motel in ottawa left!
Called twice to see if they were pet friendly and both times I called they said they were. Went ahead and booked my room two days later I go to check in only to find out that they aren't pet friendly. Had to wait in the cold -29 (29km winds) wouldn't let us wait in the office while I had to make other arrangements. Management or owners said wasn't their problem that their motel was on sites that said they were pet friendly. Very pissed off and dissatisfied and disappointed with how things were handled. They seem very unprofessional!
Was not a 5 star as it isn't one. However despite my immediate impression upon the first 3 mins of being on the property, I almost left. The owner showed me the room, the room did not match the exterior. Clean, newly renovated, really nice room. Big bed, big tub, small fridge right beside the bed, big tv, maid service, extra towels when you need it.

Room smelled musty but was fairly clean. Housekeeping was good, making the bed and changing the towels while we were out. The coffee and small breakfast were a nice touch. Only serious complaint was that we were awakened in the middle of the night by loud knocking coming from our neighbours that lasted several minutes. Ruined our sleep for the rest of night. Ok value for the money but be prepared for sketchy neighbors.
My sister and I stayed here for a night during winterlude. Breakfast was in brown bag (muffin, juice box, etc.) Bathroom and beds were clean. Room was cold when we arrived but putting the space heater on high for 5 minutes fixed that. Floor needed some maintenance (cracks). Place is no Ritz or fancy hotel but if you just need a place to stay for the night, its a good place just outside of the Ottawa core.
This location is not okay and they must seem busy alot. Second time visit renting a room, a homeless person left the room leaving some strange stuff and garbage behind. Kinda pathetic the Motel told me it's ready and it was actually a pig stye not to mention loud ppl outside having no respect for others past midnight.. definitely not worth paying for a room.
When we entered the room, we weren't too pleased about the asthetics of the place. Everything was clean, but the hardwood floor was popping out in areas, the bathroom was due for a renovation, and the beds sat on pieces of wood, which didn't seem all that stable. I can't say that I would go here again considering the amount of money I paid.
Horrible, I asked for temporary safe shelter for my mother and brother and it was absolutely horrific the living conditions is not sustainable I hope health inspectors come around as this is no way a living condition for anyone in rooms with that much mold.

Location is convenient to access multiple locations around Ottawa..working overnights so quiet, dark, rooms are a must and are provided, clean enough, nothing fancy, upgrade to tvs would be nice but they donappear to have plenty of renovations apparently due to fire so I'm sure any major upgrades are put on hold
Walls are paper thin, no smoke detector in the room or thermostat, the continental breakfast that was advertised was actually just a juice box, a yogurt cup and a Costco muffin in a paper bag given to you when you check in rather than in the morning. I could go on but please just avoid this place at all costs.
The room was ok, but cold and my neighbor was very loud. The clerk told us to knock on the door to tell the guest to be quiet instead of dealing with it himself. Luckily it went well. There was burn holes on my sheets and what looked like blood splatter on the bathroom ceiling. We won't be returning.
Low cost, convenient motel in Ottawa, Canada. Good value for your money if you're not too picky about location and amenities. The rooms are clean and the staff polite. There is easy access to Montreal Road. Recommended with caution for value and services provided.
They charge different prices for their rooms. I have been there and they have charged me 100 other times the place wasn't even busy and they charge 140. The rooms are as basic as you can get. The beds are not comfortable at all.

Omg I can't believe those fakes review s.. I been there & this motel very nasty & no hot water in bath & the bed was old and hard I couldn't sleep....there some bugs in bed ..I had worst ever night there . And thanks much for Hotels or Expedia . com
We stayed for 2 nights at Beacon Motel and room was clean and comfortable. Don't expect too much of their breakfast included policy it's just grab and go. Their location was perfect as it's located on the roadside & plenty of free parking spaces.
It's a decent place to stay. I mean, there's a roof over your head, beds, a fridge, a bathroom. But the first thing I noticed when I came into the room is there was water everywhere. The bed was squeaky and there was no hot water in the shower.
After calling to reserve and saying 2 adults and a child they put us in a room that was tiny with 1 king size bed. Walked in and the room smelt of MOLD and water. Could hardly breath. I check the bathroom and their was hair all over the
I stayed one night in summer of 2022. Room was close to 200$ and smelled like cigarettes and mold. The most dissatisfaction was the fact that I wasn’t alone in the bed if you know what I mean. Bedbugs …
We stayed at beacon Hill for 2 nights the room was nice the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful my sister and I really enjoyed staying there we look forward to staying there again in the future
Great rooms, stayed for one night only. Friendly staff. Room was a little on the cold side with only 1 small radiator for the whole room, but it was also fighting with -20 weather outside to be fair.
Stay Away!! Very bad experience. Dirty and the smell. Slept with my clothes and shoes on. In shock...was to stay for two night.... I did not last five hours.... You have no idea!
found 2 crackpipes under the bed make sure to check your rooms besides that it's a decent places but for 150 a night if I had credit card hamton inn was cheaper...
Much cleaner than it used to be . Friendly staff . Cheap and WiFi and breaky . It's across from my father's old residence so much memory for me. Close to all
Breakfast given in a lunch cover the night before. It took over 2 hours on high heat to come to 'living' conditions. The bathroom door wouldn't close.
Great little place and great hospitality.

Disgusting Place to stay . No Air conditioning in the room sheets on bed not in good condition. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there.
Good hotel for the price. Clean with a fridge and microwave in each room is nice. But had a strong smell of weed in my room on arrival.
Very quickly and friendly was looking for other locations and this is the only one that was polite and not just looking for a booking
One of the last (possibly THE last?) motels/hotels in Ottawa that still has smoking rooms. Cheap but clean. No pets allowed.
Staff is amazing... No air conditioner but the owner was amazing to give a fan. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean
Place need to be a little more clean and please don’t only change the white sheet it’s COVID it can spread like that
It is a reasonable accommodation for short stays. It is conveniently located close to retail stores and the Monfort.
Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient! The owners are very passionate about this place. Working hard, and it shows
Run down flea bag motel. Ammenities listed are false. Owner is RUDE. Terrible place. Run away fast as you can.
As a local guide, this place is the worst expensive motel in Ottawa and the dirtiest. Not recommended at all.
Awesome place, very clean rooms, I'm in Ottawa for work and luckily I found a great place to stay!
Very clean for the price and not dirty like other motels. $100 for night and no credit card needed
A disaster, this motel should be closed! dirty, smells very bad, everything is in poor condition.
excellent rapport qualité-prix. Mais avoir de la patience si vous réservez à la dernière minute.
great place hidden gem. clean room huge bed great staff both at night and during the day
Room like prison. No closet. No window. Expensive. No breakfast. Don't recommend it.
Propreté ok, prix ok. Parfait pour travailleurs. Un peut ghetto quand j’y suis allé.
Good customer service very friendly. Nice clean room big bathroom outdated TV lol
Rude unprofessional group of workers doing drugs infront of room while cleaning
S'il y avait un 0 étoile c'est ce que je donnerais. S'il vous plaît n'y va pas
Economy hotel. No restaurant or ammonites aside from the room itself.
