As a ex-student of Beaconhouse I can say that the good things about this school is that some teachers were very nice and teacher teach things necessary and some staff members were very kind, but the bad things of this school is that some teachers would be very harsh on their students just for making a few mistakes. Some teachers would also scold students that were late to class even though they had a valid reason. most of the sub-teachers wouldn't give any work to the class and just sit there doing nothing. The school food is not bad but not that good, some of the food were expensive, sometimes if a kid got hurt, the nurse wouldn't be there and you would have to find the nurse around the school. When it is after school most teachers would be in the classroom's or at the pick up area to call the child's names, and when the teachers are gone some students like to climb on things, like the gates, and since the teachers are not there some other students would have to tell the other student to not do it. Sometimes when it is recess when the teachers call your name it is either too loud or cannot be heard from the canteen which makes the guardian having to wait longer or call the child. Most of the teacher's are nice but mostly in year 10 or 11 the teachers are more biased, my sister started to have depression from this and having to put up with this teacher for a year, sometimes she would say that the teachers teaching language's would either be totally wrong in pronouncing or the word does not mean what it actually is. During the pandemic and it was physical class, the teachers wouldn't take the SOP's seriously and let the student's do whatever they want, like getting close to each other, or touching things, and so on. When I first got into the school in year 2, the homeroom teacher would be biased towards me or scold me for something not so serious, in year 3 the teacher would usually target me because I was always late but I had valid reasons. the history teacher in year 4 and 5 would sometimes have test's but some questions were questions we did not know and she would say things like "I told you guys about this before, didn't I?" most of the test were things we have not learned before.

As a recent graduate from this school as the class of 2021, I would like the future generations and parents that may enquire about this school to know some of my opinions. Beaconhouse is an extremely irresponsible school. Nothing can be taken seriously here. First of all, some teachers are not on par to what you can call them as 'international school teachers'. Bias, unmotivating, and there are only a few teachers that I treat as actual teachers. The food from 2018 till now hasn't been improved by the slightest, having to PAY extra for 'better' food. I can't lie though, the fees are considered decent compared to other international schools, but in the end, I'd rather go to a homeschool. Sports here are completely forgotten unlike other international schools. Not challenging, irresponsible schedules and most importantly, they would NOT do anything in favor for the athletes. I still feel sorry for being so kind to student athletes on Open Day, telling them "Oh don't worry, I will do my best to help out in that situation." But no one listened to me. Lastly, the studies here are to be honest, not as bad unless your teachers are the ones that are considered 'teachers'. Forgot to mention, this school is taking forever just to post some mail to me, for the Virtual Run they had. My final words are if you are a student that will study continuously without distraction, this school wouldn't be a harm to you. However, if you are dependable on the teaching, coaching if you are an athlete, and want to have a decent diet, unfortunately this is not the school for you. The only thing that i appreciated here in Beaconhouse, is my friends, few PE teachers and a few Year 11 teachers. Nothing else :)

As a ex student in this school, I surely did experience bad things here. Most teachers were very unfair and biased towards students. They would sometimes scold children for coming in late despite them having a reason for being so. The food was also another problem. The fact that parents are required to pay extra money just for their child to be served food is ridiculous. If the school wants us to pay extra money just for the students to be fed, then at least serve actual good food. Most of the food served in the school either looked unappetizing or the people who worked in the canteen didn't serve enough. The nurse is also nuisance. Whenever they are needed, they are either not in their office or would sometimes refuse to talk to injured students just because they are "busy". Either way, this school did give me good memories in terms of the students and some really kind teachers who treated the students equally as they should be. But I would definitely not recommend to bring anyone's child to this school.

Please be careful and be mindful. This is not a real international school. Very bad and lazy principal. She is scared of Teaching Staff in order to safe guard her Job. Teachers are here very poor and very much evil. Definitely, they don’t teach , instead they ask to do everything at home or they simply put the answers on the board to copy them. Please think million times before you enrol the child with Beacon House Please see the comments of other parents in this forum , still the school doesn’t want to change to good or better. Before you enrol , pls do ask how many white teachers are at beacon house ? As they have only the principal(she is from UK) and the rest all are local and very poor teaching abilities. Ms. Ghenesha new English teacher is the worst and monster teacher, she should be sent home. She makes Student cry by pressing them to do work fast and even she never let them go for water break . Ms. Najmah, OMG another worst teacher , doesn’t know what is teaching

As a former student of an international boarding school in Malaysia in the 90s, I have to commend that Beaconhouse Sri Inai is a lovely nurturing school with caring and supportive teachers. And Ms. Nikki Coombs a very dedicated Principle. I have never met a school principle that handles so many things herself. Even during the pandemic I feel that my child had the best quality education from Sri Inai even online. Thanks to Ms Coombs and her teaching staff they made sure children were not left behind. When there was a sudden passing of his beloved class teacher. The other teachers made sure our child’s class had all subjects covered . Thank you Ms Guna and all the teachers of year 4 for helping our children get through the difficult time. Our child has been in the school for 4 years and coming back from Hong Kong he has thoroughly enjoyed his time in Sri Inai so far. He has since grown in confidence thanks to a well rounded education.

If there was an option for 0 star i would highly rate this school wtih 0 star. This school is called an international school but filled with indian teachers, barely any foreigners (teachers) which could bring a more strong environment for the students (limited) But the sports of this school is also very bad, barely any events and only malaysian (national) events for this school. The food for this school is also very low budget. I really wish this school will improve. Recently, the online classes are ruining children's sleep and increases their eye power. This is very upsetting and i hope this school makes a change. Finally, the school is more towards the national side. Which the price of this school makes the place kind of worth the rubbish. Please, make a change to almost everything. And make it quick. (REPORT CARD TEACHER DONT KNOW HOW TO GRADE)

My son is joining the school this semester and today was Orientation day. We ( both parents and children) were warmly received by all staff and Ms. Nicky (Principal) with a clear and concise presentation on the school structure and systems. I would like to thank : Ms. Marina ( enrolment) always ready to help with a smile. Ms. Assel (class teacher) for her kind understanding. Ms. Farah ( bookshop) for her efficiency and prompt support. Ms Mala ( school nurse) for her care and attentive concern. Last but not list Ms. Leesa ( finance department) for her guidance and support with regards to the fees system. So far everything is going well and the communication seem to run smoothly. Hoping for a constructive relationship and a great year ahead.

My child has been in this school for over 6 years now, but i’ve never heard as much complaints as i have on a teacher named, Ms Sasi, which is clearly unprofessional and horrible at her job. I have made so many complaints to the office regarding her rude and disrespectful behaviour towards her students, but no action has been taken place. She has even gone as far to telling a student to kill herself, which is completely unacceptable in my opinion. She doesn’t bother to remember her own students names, because she said that she is “uninterested” in doing so. Beaconhouse, please take action before i report this to the head of education.

My son loves to go to school each day due to its engaging environment, where he learns new things and, most importantly, has a wonderful time. His homeroom teacher, Ms. Guna, who also teaches English, Math, SST, PSHE, and ICT, is dedicated and consistently provides a comprehensive weekly summary. This is invaluable, particularly for children with short-term memory challenges, and also aids parents in providing guidance after school if necessary. Thank you, Ms. Guna, for an amazing year. I hope your passion for teaching continues to inspire and guide students in the years to come.

Please do not waste time with this school. I called for enquiries to enrol my son and the person concerned said she would send me the fee structure and also a link for a Zoom assessment. I waited and waited and waited and waited, then I called, called and called. The person concerned seems to be busier than our Prime Minister!!! she is forever in a meeting. So, in conclusion, if they cannot even manage a call back, then certainly please do not waste time sending your kid here. There are a million other international schools these days...find a better option!!!!

I’ve a chance to speak to Miss Krishna on one occasion when she called to express her concern about my son. While I appreciate her concern, my son informed me that she was very biased and strictly leaned towards the smart students only and this affected him badly as he felt extremely discouraged in the subject. She was often 10-15 minutes late for classes and would give excuses to justify her tardiness. I hope that she can improve her teaching skills and work on her punctuality.

I studied in this school for 4 years now this year (2017) has been the worst year I have spent in this school yes there was some good times. The school was going well until this new principal came and he scolds you for the simplest reasons and most of the PE teachers are horrible for a lot of reasons and one of the teacher in this school made a 10/11 year old kid go to a therapist. I highly don't recommend this school their are a lot more school that are cheaper and better

  • Mugbang Addiction

I am really glad that the school has finally provide a good geography teacher for the year 5. My child is coming back home with a lot of information relevant to the subject. He is also bothering us with sooo many " Did you know? " questions, but I'm glad he is so interested in the subject. Well, all the credits go to Ms. Paramjeet, she is so kind and willing to spend extra time to teach my son during reading time. I hope she teachers the year 6s next year too.

I am happy with the homeroom teachers my son got since year 1 until 4 in Sri Inai. This year Ms. Guna from 4DM has done an excellent job, all PTM with her is valuable because she explained to me my son progress in details and we discussed on how can i assist in his studies at home. She also highlighted areas that he needs improvement in both academic and behaviour. From the feedback i received from my son, her classes are always fun. Thank you Ms Guna ❤️

I think people are being way too harsh and over exaggerating the small problems. The school has improved drastically with our new current principal: Ms Nicki coombs And head of secondary: Mr scott They have brought incredible changes towards; facilities, food and education and I think people need to stop over reacting. Btw the school's cookie recipe has gone from good to insane y'all need to try some

My son is studying in this school since 3 years and he is doing very well. An interactive way of teaching is very important and it varies teacher to teacher how they choose to deliver topics to students. Miss Guna has done a brilliant job ( my sons homeroom teacher, this year). She is kind, and responsive. And moreover her way of teaching is very good. I can see her dedication towards teaching.

  • Anita Shefeeque

One of the best school, I have enrolled both my kids in. The teacher's takes personal interest in the kids development. Encouragement on children participation in events and boosting confidence. Nikki Coombs the current principle with her depth experience and hands on approach in my opinion has brought this school to an exemplary level.

  • CODING MAGICIAN

My daughter shayaan shaik and my son Sarfaraz shaik currently studying in Sri Inai, I’m very happy with their progress in studies as well in soft skills. Special thanks to Ms. Guna, she is very good in her subject teaching and taking care of kids improvement. Over all I’m very happy with the current progress of my kids in Sri Inai.

  • Ting Shalom

The school has been worse with the new Principal named Ms.Nikki Combs. Everything is in a mess. Yearly calendar and big event such as sport day are only informed a week before. You wouldn't get clarifications from teachers because it is all the principal's decision, while the principal keep avoiding seeing all parents.

  • Catherine Ong

Located in a quiet neighborhood. They have sports facilities like basketball court and swimming pool. For field sports, need to walk over to a large open field nearby. Happy with the help from teachers specially during the covid 19 days, very dedicated team.

  • Adewalé Osasiwa

The school is absolute RUBBISH, especially the principal Ms Nikki Coombs, she is absolutely the worse. The principal makes everyone's life harder, she hides the horrible state of the school's facilities, and has made the school worse than it has ever been.

  • Tu Shi Feng

Teachers were very nice , facilities are not too bad , just the air conditioning in classrooms that requires some repairs or swapping. The multi purpose hall and swimming pool are fine , canteen is alright , with a much better chef now. Overall alright.

  • Natty Natalia

There is a new Executive Principal at the school. I have had a very warm and pleasant experience with both the principal and the junior head. It seems the school is underwent a renovation phase recently.

  • shine jason

new principal name Scott that simply throw student's food, student's belongings is in the school, simply scold and kick students, is this international school's principal standard?

  • fivefortythree 1715

The teachers are kind and understanding. And is willing to help us after school. How ever the food isn’t the best. They could serve a lot more food then they do now.

  • Shabnam Ardev

Courteous and efficient service by Miss Farrah at the bookshop. My daughter is now joining year 5 and she adores being at this school. Thanks Beaconhouse ☺️.
