Well booked for the delux facial £60. That was a huge disappointment nothing like I had there before. I was given a junior a few weeks out of college and although she was very sweet I found the whole experience very unprofessional. I was led to a room and was standing waiting for instructions she said I could lay down not taking the box off the bed or telling me where I could put my things I was just left to that. Then she wrapped my hair and kept leaning on the towel pulling my hair. Next she worked the abrasion a bit close to my under eye area and I had to tell her it was sore there. She worked with her hands in my face all the time so making it most unpleasant I could not breath some of the time. She left the spotlights full on hurting my eyes and the bed turned up on high I felt like I was burning. I asked her to turn down the lights a little and turn the bed off. She told me they had run out of the mask treatment they had that Very day and was supprised that I wasn’t told. She said they could use something else she suggested. She was massaging my forearm again in the same spot and it was hurting me I had to tell her to stop. She asked me to remove my watch after. She left the room and said she was getting more products but when she returned she spent the time telling me what each product was for and how it would be good for my skin. I the. realised that she was not about to use them on me she was just pitching them to me to buy., Then she said I’m done and I was very supprised. We talked about everything during the whole session and I came out of the place not feeling relaxed at all. It was such a different experience. I was asked by another how it went and I said so do as I didn’t want to upset the young girl who had worked on me. I felt what a total waste of money and that was meant to be delux I was fuming . They won’t be catching me again.

Prejudiced treatment - will not be returning. I never like to leave negative reviews on small businesses, but this is the first time I've been completely flabbergasted at the treatment I received and felt racially profiled. Strongly suggest that women/ men of colour steer clear of this place. I had arranged to have a pamper package treatment at this location. I arrived 25 mins early to my appointment. This is common in all of the professional spas I've been to, in arriving earlier that your set time to fill out paper work, have a tea and unwind. The receptionist was at her desk, and then opened the door. I explained I had a pre booked treatment. She asked me if I could leave and come back as it would be unsafe to leave me in the reception area as something could get stolen if I "let a stranger in" and she had to return to the treatment room. I asked if there was CCTV cameras, she said yes. At this point we had been going back and fourth and it was about 15 mins prior to my treatment. Her manager came out and explained it's there policy (although this was not highlighted in any of the documentation prior to my booking) and asked me to come back ten mins prior. I explained my battery had died on my phone to which the receptionist said it was not her problem. With almost 10 mins to my appointment it made no sense to me. I asked for and received a full refund. I could only attribute it to the fact that I'm a woman of colour and leaving me in the reception area for 10-15 mins could result in an arm robbery or me letting in a bunch of hooligans to steal there goods. I suggest if this is their policy to make it clear in each booking to arrive at their designated start time. It's all about tone and how you come across to people when it comes to customer service and the receptionist was extremely rude.

This was my first time getting my Brazilian waxing done here with Emma, and I can't recommend it enough. She put me at ease the moment I walked into the salon, and once in the treatment room she explained the treatment fully then left me to get unchanged. When we started the treatment Emma kept me chatting while keeping me at ease. Her waxing technique was amazing and she made it almost painless and always applied pressure after to help sooth the pain this worked brilliantly and made the wax go much quicker. After the treatment Emma made sure to run through all the homecare and her recommendations Emma let me know that i could get afew waxing bumps this is due to the fact that the hair was pulled out from the root and it is normal and will go within 24-48 hours after the treatment, she advised that waxing regularly would help with pain level and slowing down hair growth and gave me a brilliant option to get discounted waxing, and after this treatment how could I refuse this was the best waxing experience I could have asked for. In the next few days that followed all waxing bumps had completely gone and it took a while for any hair to regrow this is due to the brilliant waxing technique with removing the hair from the root. I must also say the hygiene and cleanliness standards at this salon are the best I've seen, especially the wax pots as they looked spotless with no strings or dollops of wax. Could not recommend the salon enough and Emma especially.

Although a new salon, this salon is better than most that I have been to. Staff were polite, professional and attentive. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile and after booking in I was asked if I wanted a coffee or something to drink. I had made an appointment for a Spa Pedicure, half leg and underarm wax. When I phoned to book the Pedicure I was asked if I would like Rose Petals in my Foot Bath, something I have never been asked before hand by a Salon. When the Therapist was ready I was led to a private treatment room, (again something I have not had from a Salon. The pedicures usually take place in the main shop and not in a private treatment room). Before long I was enjoying a relaxing Spa Pedicure it was made all the better because the Therapist took into consideration that I am disabled and so am unable to easily lift my legs to put them on to the foot stool. If I had to choose I between my old salon or this one I would choose this one. I would say that they still have teething problems but if this is the standard that they are starting out with I will certainly be going back as it can only get better with time.

I've had a lot of work on my body through the years and am very fussy about how people massage me - the seek the best and expect the best. After reading the couple of low ratings on here, I was hesitant, but on treatwell website they had all 5 stars so I gave it a go. So glad I did! The manager, Sarah, massaged me and gave and a wonderful, deep tissue but gentle message. I have many sore areas on my body and she navigated them intuitively without me needing to ask for any adjustments. I will agree that the technique was a bit repetitive and that is an area that could be improved, but the pressure was perfect, her touch filled with full presence, the bed nicely heated, pleasant music, lights and temperature. Sarah's 10 years' experience shone through and I suspect I may become a regular.

I get my legs waxed here every 4-6 weeks by Emma. From the moment I started coming here, Emma has made me feel right at home and extremely comfortable on top of delivering excellent waxes for my legs. I moved 2 hours away and happily travel for 2 hours for my waxing sessions as I find them to be an invaluable part of my self care. Emma is fantastic and I always, always look forward to seeing her. The spa and its staff are so welcoming and I recommend them to anyone who may be looking for a new beauty place. And just to emphasise how good they are, I passed out on my way to an appointment and insisted on continuing my journey because I didn’t want to miss my appointment and catch up with Emma. I cannot rate this spa enough!

The beauty therapist I had needs to be retrained in body waxing - no application of pressure after the wax pull (was very very very shocked by this), no use of gloves despite having long acrylics on her nails and very poor wax application and pull technique. Been waxing for many years (with different therapists) and never in my life have I had so many bumps post wax. I was initially grateful that they could fit me in so last minute but that feeling very quickly subsided when I was met with essentially what was an incompetent service provider. Wouldn’t recommend.

I came to the salon and had an amazing facial with Emma. When I first entered the salon I was welcomed and made to feel relaxed. As this was my first facial Emma explained the treatment and what we could achieve during it and my desired result with my skin. After the facial Emma went through home-care with me and told me that regular facials would help to keep my skin healthy . I left with glowing skin and completely relaxed, I decided to purchase the recommended facial bundle with my products included. 100% recommended, can't wait to be back.

Lovely place, friendly staff and good service! I have to say this, the staff was really accommodating and kind. I booked for waxing over phone. I was not sure that I would make it in time and I had to change my appointment to another date. They were really kind and was not rude at all when I asked to move my appointment ( I have had a few bad experiences with other salons). The lady at the counter and the lady who did my waxing were also very friendly and polite. Will definitely go back!

I went to Beautiful Secrets Day Spa and I had the best experience and facial. The employee name Emma is soo helpful and great. she lets you ask all questions and was so kind in explaining everything since it was my first time at the store. We did an amazing LED facial which was her advice and it helped clear my skin Soo much. Honestly it was a great experience.

From the very start Sarah and all her staff are professional, I’m always given a warm welcome. All treatments are explained and any questions answered. The treatment rooms are always clean and tidy.I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you want a top quality professional treatments this is the place to go to.
