Regrettably, I recently overhead a conversation between an employee and the staff which left me feeling very uncomfortable. The employee was being berated for taking a break when there were people in the store. The employee pointed out that the smokers took as many breaks as they liked without consequence, she worked very hard all day, and the other employees had given fake positive comments regarding her work. I must agree with the smoking part as the employee who assisted me had a strong odour of cigarettes which was unpleasant. I left without buying anything, despite the very good selection of men's shoes available. Management should treat staff (smokers vs. non-smokers) more equitably in my opinion before I would support this store.

Jordan provided me with the best customer service experience I've had in a long time- especially during Covid Lockdown! All over the phone: she helped me choose shoes for my elderly Mom in assisted living - who I cannot even visit in person! Nursing staff told me the type of diabetic slipper required to address new foot swelling & Jordan helped me do my shopping by phone with the assurance that we can get this right curbside by exchanging if the first pair (guess!) didn't suit. I am so happy that I called to shop local!

I ordered a pair of moccasins for my wife. I went in to pick them up but was told I couldn’t have them because the person who unpacks the boxes was sick that day... even though they were sitting in the back room. I came back the next day and they were the wrong shoes... just feeling frustrated about the situation. I live outside of Kingston and have now made 3 trips to Kingston to the store for these moccasins and still don’t have the right ones...

I recently asked the staff at Becker Shoes for the best shoes to wear for a trip overseas that involved a lot of walking. I was encouraged to purchase a pair of Ecco walking shoes. The arch was superb and my feet did not ache once. The material of the shoe was easy to wipe down even after a muddy safari. I could not be happier with the recommendation and performance of the shoes. I will be back!

I went in to get some shoes for work and they didn’t have my size in store, but they ordered them for me. Once they were in store, they called me to come pick them up. They were very easy to deal with and very helpful. I would definitely recommend shopping here, and I will be back once my shoes are worn out again. They also have a great selection of shoes, not just for work!

Dealing with Jack McCalpin at this store was like going back in time. I expressed my needs, he measured my feet, and recommended a shoe. A perfect fit right out of the box. Most stores that sell shoes ask you what size you wear and drop a couple of boxes at your feet and leave you to it. All my future footwear will be purchased at this location. Great old fashioned service.

Have bad foot problems and went in there looking for good footwear. Prices can be steep, but, William, the attendent in the men's section was wonderful. Very attentive, answered my array of questions and tried his best to please me as a customer; and he did. I know prices can't entirely be helped, but if they were a little more practical, I'd give 5 stars.

I found the kind of service at Kingston Becker Shoes I didn't know I could receive anywhere. Jamie was cheerful and extremely helpful throughout our discussions about what was in stock and what she could find and bring in for me. Becker's flexibility is amazing. We ordered winter boots online for in-store pickup for my super picky son. We tried them on, he did some walking through the store and said they were the “best ever”. Danielle was awesome! Bought shoes for myself and my child and had a fabulous experience. The staff were very friendly and gave my child a bit to warm up to them and eventually had my child chasing after them to test out the fit of the shoes. It was wonderful service and a great start to my child's first shopping experience!

went in last week to buy a pair of blundstones. this was a bigger purchase for me as blundstones are not cheap and staff were fantastic throughout the process! they were helpful, had my size and the colour I wanted and were very friendly and kind. a great shoe store! give Becker Shoes your support :)

nice selection of shoes for all seasons. and friendly staff... just got a pair of boots on sale here, indeed, when i was just paying for the boots, the sales assistant realized that they were not on sale, and that there was a mistake, but they still sold them to me at the sale price. appreciated!

I was disappointed with size availability for myself & two daughters. My daughters should've been easy to fit where as I sport a size 11 & nothing available. It's not unusual but expect different for a speciality shoe store. Hope this changes so we can avoid trips to Toronto or Ottawa for shoes.

Awesome place. The staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly and have always gone out of their way to fit my difficult feet with comfy shoes. I always buy my shoes there and have always been completely satisfied with the quality of the shoes and the level of customer service!

Becker's shoes is my new favorite shoe store in kingston. Amazing brands and lots of models in size 13. I usually go into stores and ask what's available in 13s and it usually limits everything I want. Becker's had multiple brands to try on. It was a dream come true.

Amazing staff, super helpful. I wanted a certain boot but they didn't have my size, amazingly the manager from Belleville offered to bring my size to the Kingston, had them by noon the next day.. Amazing customer service on both stores part...kudos kudos..

I have a good experience as people especially Katie very knowledgeable and helps a person find correct shoe and size for your different needs. Been going for years when my mom used to go and I'd come home from Toronto.

Returned a pair of safety Blundstones which had a defect inside the boot after a week of wearing. No questions asked replaced with another pair. Great friendly service. Highly recommend.
