"Amazing arena"
"Older arena, so change rooms are smaller, and when it's hot out, the humidity control inside is not well managed, and it takes a while for the water on surface of ice to freeze after Zamboni is done its pass"
"Great rink"
"Great and beautiful Arena"
"This is a great indoor arena located behind the community high school"
Amazing arena. The ice almost always feel great to skate on. They have spacious stands. Although the dressing rooms are on the smaller side, it's possible to fit a team on 17 in there, unlike some arenas (cough cough john mlacak). For the penalty boxes, I recommend to not slam it during the middle of a game after getting a bad penalty because they are extremely heavy and loud.
Older arena, so change rooms are smaller, and when it's hot out, the humidity control inside is not well managed, and it takes a while for the water on surface of ice to freeze after Zamboni is done its pass. But, it's got a small canteen, and they've made some small improvements, so they're trying. I play there once a week.
Great rink. Pretty cold in the winters but other than that it's fine. Dressing rooms are on the small side. Has a canteen with kinda expensive food, but it's pretty good. The gentleman working there a Has run it well. Stands are nice and open, even Has a standing area with tables. Great rink.
Great and beautiful Arena. One of my favourite ones. Always clean and very bright. The flooring in the lobby made of blades-friendly materials, so you can leave the ice with the skates on and go to washroom or cafe-kiosk thru the lobby. Ice is always in superb condition. Just beauty.
This is a great indoor arena located behind the community high school. The cost is only $3 (Jan 2018) which makes it a nice low cost way to spend time with the kids. The ice is nicely maintained, and the seating area, for non skaters, is very clean.
Its an older rink tucked into a residential neighbourhood, so it requires direction to find the first time. Otherwise its a good spot with lots of seating. The heaters don't always work in the stands, but there is space to stand in the lobby.
Great for hockey and other sports. However the concession stand and vending machines are not open very often, but when they are, it's not at a very accessible time. Keep that in mind when coming, bring food.
Similar vintage and layout to Darwin (aka Merivale) arena. Small foyer. Good stands. Parking lot on the small size. Snack bar. One rink. Dressing rooms down stairs.
Great surface for Lacrosse, ample parking. The snack shop has a huge variety of goodies and the gentleman who runs it is friendly and fun.
The arena is very nice! The one ice driver doesn’t know much! The one guy is great he still allows the 10 min extra at end of night!
Best ice in the city. 100 times better then Johnny Leroux Arena. New Ref room and Renovated change rooms. Staff know their Stuff.
A little out of the way and the rooms are a little small due to being and older rink the ice surface is typically good however
Nice rink! Ice is good! Staff are excellent! Years ago a guy worked there he was the best zam driver around awesome ice!
high ceiling means the pucks doesn't randomly deflect off the rafters as much as other rinks. Great ice conditions
Good arena for skating and doing ice sports, theres a sketchy guy selling overpriced food in the foyer though
It's an older rink and needs some work but its generally well kept. The concession stand is pretty good.
Arena clean, ice was good.........could someone please fix the parking lot, it needs to be repaved.
One of the better old arenas in the city. Good ice, great staff, and decent sized dressing rooms.
Great rink, and they have a little shop that sells large fresh muffins ie banana/choco chip!!
Very old school arena, bundle up extra as it's cold. Small seating area with a small canteen.
Basic arena, nothing fancy. Guy running the canteen was fantastic. Great customer service.
Nice little arena. The stands could use a real good sweeping but everything else is great.
Awesome small community arena. I played hockey here many times growing up. Great place!
Nice rink. I timekeep here on occasion and their scoreboard and machine are good …
The parking lot was in bad shape and the lobby grouded but served the purpose
Dates arena with a horribly crowded lobby. Canteen is well stocked though..
Really nice little arena. Well maintained and really friendly staff.
One ice pad right by Bell high school and the Bell baseball diamonds
Nice older arena Cash only Canteen, lots of variety. Clean bathrooms
A nice older hockey arena. A good rink and a good concession store.
Clean and well kept arena. Good ice and canteen open late as well.
Decent arena, but the guy that runs the concession isn't the best.
Good barn, zamboni laid in on a little thick but overall good ice
Old arena that has been updated slightly rooms are still small
Excellent ice and lots of parking. Single pad facility.
Good ice. Canteen is open. Great school ice times
Narrow hallway to dressing rooms, crowded lobby
Good rink from the 70's. Change rooms are tiny.
Solid of arena, like the counters to stand at.
