That annoying and awkward moment when you know for a fact that what was sent to you via uber eats is not what you ordered. The burger that I ordered was a beef burger, with deep fried bacon and jalapeno peppers. What I received was a char-grilled burger with a weird gamy taste and it had grated cheddar cheese, 2 slices of tomatoes, lettuce and ketchup... No bacon and no jalapeños and yet the main reason I ordered the burger was these two elements. I could not eat the burnt bun and had to eat the fillings because I was hungry and we had load shedding in my area so I could not make a sandwich at home instead. I will never order from this place again because obviously the level of unprofessionalism is very high. I decided to order a Moroccan burger and cheese cake from here today since it was late and most places were closed already. What a great call that was… the burger was nice, flavorful and juicy while the cheesecake was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Beautiful restaurant with a great aesthetics. Atmosphere was very warm and welcoming for a chilly day. Food was well prepared, however the meal I chose was not for my tastebuds. I, in error chose a dish that did not settle well with me. However the meals had by my husband and daughter were well presented, fresh and tasty. The butter wrapped as sweets was a special treat for all butter lovers. The alcohol bottles used for fresh water is very innovative and provides a nice touch to the breakfast table. Makes patrons wonder " is that person having alcohol so early on a Sunday morning:-)". Also the gas heaters for the cold more than made up for everything.

I do not recommend ordering takeaways from this place at all. Ordered a chicken schnitzel and it was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. It had a strong unappetising lemon taste and it was unseasoned. All the coating had basically fell off. The fries portion were also very small. Other meals were ordered as well, they were also displeasing. They don’t have good packing as well, my sauce for the chicken livers was spilling out. My order also took a long time to arrive but I guess I can’t really blame them for that, I should blame the driver. This is the second time I have a bad experience with ordering takeaways with this restaurant.

We wanted to take our friends out for a dinner experience on an incredibly hot January evening. We made reservations at Bellevue Cafe. I loved watching their faces as we parked in the tree lined parking and walked into the cafe with the twinkling lights and gentle warm breeze. Dining at Bellevue is to experience the outdoors merging with the indoors. The dining area was open to the veranda and the transition was seamless. We enjoyed the menu variety and each person ordered something special. The food was delicious and we enjoyed a specially curated bottle of wine. Lovely service, simple, tasty artisan meals and staff are always friendly. Upon hearing that it was my birthday, our waiter organized me R100 meal voucher for our next sit in meal. Didn't enjoy the Bellevue smash drink , we were served a rather dry mini carrot cake or muffin , we expressed our concern and the waiter offered to change it , without a fuss, we were able to order something else. Loved the replacement slice of cake, vanilla and chocolate something‍♀️, moist, tasty and delicious . Just visited a great spot in Kloof that seriously knows its coffee. The service was speedy and welcoming, and the place is a definite notch above most other breakfast options in town. I tried their breakfast - the avocado on toast. The balsamic glaze wasn't my thing, kind of overpowered the dish. But I'll give them this, the ingredients were fresh and the plate was in front of me in no time. What really caught my eye was their wine list - it's huge! This place could easily double as a perfect spot for a relaxed evening out. So despite the breakfast hiccup, I'd say give it a try. The coffee alone is worth it. out.

Wierd thing to bring up in a review I know but trust me its off putting for patrons to walk back down the stair because the toilets are full or awkwardly wait in a queue to use the toilet in a narrow staircase. Firstly, I must say that the service was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The setting is also lovely and has been updated since I last visited (pre Covid). There are lots of monkeys that are in the vicinity but the staff have them under control, so that’s fine. The drinks were good (I had a salted caramel frap) but the food was very disappointing. It lacked taste…it was just bland. It wasn’t just my meal, but my family also felt the same and we ordered different meals. For the price paid, I don’t feel like it was worth it at all. Left feeling disappointed.

A regular spot for me when I want a good breakfast. The Eggs Benedict are usually very good, they get the flavours just right. However, their Bellevue breakfast is just a great way to start the day with a green juice. Sadly only a 4 star for food ... which was excellent once the hitch was sorted. First time visit, asked for steak med rare but more rare. I got a medium,no pink, let alone red. Great place to go for an intimate dinner with the other half or even how with a group of friends to have a chilled evening and catch up on news. Fish and chips were awful. The fish REAKED of the ocean , the chips were undercooked. This beautiful trendy café is full of personality. The personality shows from the onset with a warm welcome from the staff as you walk through the front door, beautiful open plan seating and excellent menu options that cater for all palates. The Banting Breakfast & the eggs benedict were both superb along with a balanced & elegant cup of coffee.

They have some of the best service I’ve seen with very friendly staff. The plants and other outdoor seating is quite nice. The food, though, is a big disappointment. It’s very bland and doesn’t live up to your expectations. It’s very overpriced for what you get.

Had an amazing dinner there, fantastic service and a very unusual and delightful wine menu! The dinner menu is great and there are so many options, I struggled to choose! Went for the Asian poke bowl, fresh and delicious. The baked cheesecake with caramel and Rolo's was possibly the best cheesecake I have ever had!

I really enjoy the food at this spot but the service from both floor managers was just unprofessional. We were seated at the top floor, the air conditioning was then turned off when certain people left because “ we cannot have air conditioning running for two people”, they then argued with us and put it off. Been here three times so far, everytime for breakfast. The warmth of the heaters inside and aromas of fresh coffee first welcome you. Followed by the most delicious breakfast. During the last visit I had the chef's special. The Sirloin Benedict and this should permanently be on the menu.

Butternut pasta was amazing. Pasta had a harrisa cream that added to the flavour with the feta made it a good vegetarian dish. Menu didn't have alot of vegetarian options though. Restaurant had both inside and outside seating. Cakes and tarts are also available for sweet tooth eaters.

The 20 min wait time for service is sad. Had to check with the chef, if the place is self service. Waiter pay more attention to their regulars.
