★★☆☆☆ I recently had the opportunity to visit the spa at the hotel, and I must say that my experience left much to be desired. In all honesty, I was not impressed with the spa facilities, which I found to be tight and congested. The lack of space made it evident that the spa would struggle to accommodate more than one person comfortably. Upon arriving at the spa, the first thing that struck me was the cramped atmosphere. The limited space made it difficult to relax and enjoy the serene ambiance that is typically associated with a spa. The tight quarters left me feeling somewhat claustrophobic, and I couldn't help but wonder how the spa would manage to accommodate additional guests without compromising their comfort. Furthermore, the lack of space also affected the overall flow of the spa experience. I had hoped for a tranquil and spacious environment where I could unwind and rejuvenate. Regrettably, this was not the case. The crowded setting detracted from the relaxation I sought and prevented me from fully immersing myself in the experience. To their credit, I will say that the spa staff did their best to make me feel welcome and attended to my needs promptly. Despite their efforts, however, the cramped space remained a significant drawback that hindered my ability to enjoy the spa to its fullest potential. Considering the importance of personal space and comfort in a spa setting, it is crucial for the hotel management to address these issues promptly. Expanding the spa area or reconfiguring the layout to create a more spacious and open atmosphere would significantly enhance the overall spa experience for guests. In conclusion, while the hotel's spa staff provided attentive service, I cannot overlook the tight and congested nature of the spa facilities. The lack of adequate space hindered my ability to relax and fully enjoy the experience. For those seeking a truly rejuvenating and tranquil spa experience, I would recommend exploring other options until improvements are made.

I booked for only 4 nights but after seeing the property and the smiling service they offer, i had to cancel my other booking and stayed there for the whole three weeks i stayed in Ethiopia. The people that work there are absolutely wonderful. From the front agents, cleaners, servers, Guards. Feels like a service you'd get here in the USA but better because they treated us like their family. They ALL went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Zelalem from the lobby restaurant is an amazing person that never gets tiered to help me with my needs. Emnet and Tsedi ( not sure if i spelled their name correctly ) were my morning delights. Breakfast is included buffet style and if you don't want that, you can ask the chef to make you anything you desire. Try the freshly made juices oh yumm! Oh before i forget, the spa crew dolled me up and my family. If you stay there, you have to go there at least once. This hotel was exceptional. My last day was a holiday and we had a hard time getting a taxi. However, the hotel offered us their own car and driver to take us to our destination for FREE! Now that is service !! Thank you Belle Vue Hotel for the magnificent time and help. We miss you guys already.

Never coming back. I booked in the hotel with my husband and my infant baby for two days and they didnt care to inform me while seeing i am holding a little baby that the air temp control of every room doesnt work (thats what the reception told me even if i pay more than what i did 5000 all rooms air conditioning is broken), while (july) is the most cold season in addis the room is freezing and they offered me to use extra blanket which when i oppend the bag the blanket is dirty with lip glose on it and also they told me the sound of the loundge wont be heard in the 6th flour when i book which is total lie. And also the flour of the room is not clean enough to walk bare foot. And i asked for refund atleast for the second date cause the 1 st day i have no choice its late my baby has to sleep and we all are tired but they told me they dont refund i hope they will change there mind in the morning.

Some parts of this hotel and spa are exceptional but my three star is reflective of some basic areas in which attention is needed. My facial was done to a very professional standard, and the beautician took her time in explaining the process. The results (three weeks after) are also great! However, the spa staff did not allow me to take a photo of their service list (which I wanted to have for future reference as they dont have the list online). They didn't give any explanation for why I couldn't take a photo either. I've been to several spas in Addis and never faced an issue with taking a photo of their service list, in fact most places would have a brochure that I could take with me. The cafe is relaxed but again some of the staff at the cafe can also be curt, although again, it's a mixed bag, some good some not great. Overall, I'd recommend to visit for the view and the spa is great, but be prepared to receive below subpar service.

Following my proposal to my fiance, I booked a deluxe room with a king size bed at Bellevue hotel for 5300 ETB. However, upon arrival, I was given a room with a queen size bed instead. When I tried to call the front desk to address this issue, I discovered that the phone was not functioning. To make matters worse, there was no hot water available in the morning when I tried to take a shower and I had to call to have it fixed. My overall experience was extremely disappointing, and it ended up ruining my special day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you enjoy starting your day with a cold shower. Added: 5/25/23 After watching the replay from Bellevue Hotel, I contacted them to verify if they fulfilled their commitments. However, despite being assured that someone would get back to me, I never received any further communication from them.

This was our 3rd time staying here and sadly the service has gone down. Room was very comfortable except for a sharp metal piece coming out of the floor. The second bed we requested didn't arrive until 11pm. There was a wedding occurring on our arrival that produced very loud music until way into the night. Breakfast was cold and looked like leftovers from the wedding (wilted fruits, etc.) When we started to play a card came in the lobby while waiting for the airport shuttle, we were informed that games were NOT allowed!!! The bar had no white wine the entire weekend. The overall quality and service has declined while the price on hotel.com remained consistent. We did have massages in the spa and Merrit was terrific! Sadly, will not be staying here next trip.

Coustomer service is zero. I have been there with my son n daughter earlier today, Jan 1/2024. We booked for swimming before we got there. First, they forced us to use the swimming pool as a private plus to pay private price. I said okey than wasting my time but still they were not willing to give us towels. Second the swimming pool water was not clean, there was some bubbles on top plus some surplus dirty thing on the top of the swimming pool . We choose that place couse it's warm water but it was cold at the time. We asked the recipient ab't the water coldness couse my son is 2years old n they refuse to get us warm water too. We dressed up our ordinary close and we get out from their. Sadly no one approaches as to say sorry . too sad. I rate them the worst and worst.

This hotel is located at the upper/mountainous side where you will have a nice view of the city of Addis Ababa. It is unfortunate that the hotel management didn’t take advantage of it. The top floor where you will have the view of the city is not in a shape that can attract customers. At the restaurant, I was the only one at the dining room. I ordered lunch and found out the food was not good though the hotel attendant was nice and attentive to accommodate me with the situation.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Complimentary breakfast wasn't bad, and had good options. WiFi worked really well during my stay. I also got a massage, beard trim, and laundry for a reasonable price. No a.c. but I never got hot, and the bed is really comfortable. The club upstairs can get noisey on a busy night, so instead of going to sleep early, I went there and had an amazing night listening to local live music. Roof balcony also has an amazing view.

I'm accustomed to Bellevue's different services from Hotel to spa. The spa is clean and complete the hospitality of staff members is 10/10. Ms. Addis (Spa Manager) is very understanding and helpful! I'm confident to say that her management is the reason why the spa kept the standards high and her staff are so welcoming. I recommend this hotel, thank you for the experience.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the staff was amazing. I had a wonderful experience at the hotel, every staff member I encountered was great. I stayed one night and had moroco bath due to a staff member who help us. Sorry forgot his name, but he is awesome yang and gentle man. I will recommend to anyone who like to visit Addis Ababa.

It's the worst place in Addis for a massage! I am amazed by the improper treatment at this hotel. The masseuse was unethical, negligent, unprincipled, amateur, incompetent, inexperienced, slapdash and inefficient. They refuse to give you the massage you want. Their price is unreasonable and the showers and towels disgusting. Never in my life would I consider to come here again.

What a beautiful setup and location especially seeing the owner working hard and advertising on EBS TV but the service was quite disappointing, for a breakfast toast and tea it took so much time and 3 waitress plus one person from the kitchen, they don’t look interested to rectify and do a service recovery when we even gave a feedback, I hope the management will work on training and motivate the staff

I've been staying at Bellevue Hotel every time I come to Ethiopia. The hotel is excellent, but what makes this place special is the exceptionally friendly staff. The staff at reception are very competent and they truly get you of their way to accommodate you and offer assistance with anything you might need, fetching affordable transport, solving currency exchange and immigration issues. Highly recommend!

Please do not use this hotel, Bellevue hotel plays loud music every Tuesday and Friday which disturb all the neighborhood until 3am, if you use this hotel you are supporting for their disgraceful behavior. Recently the Ethiopian government shot down several hotels because of their loud noise. I hope management can do something on that

This place has become a shell of what it once was, its so sad. Couldnt get a decent sleep due to the sound from the club on the top floor, the bed is very ,very uncomfortable!! Toilet flush is broken. Used to be one of my favorite weekend gateaway,such a shame.

Excellent service both in spa & bar restaurant! Very modern and clean pleasant to spend time in. Couple of waiters going out of their way getting me phone credit & calling me a cab so on. Not Many in Addis with this exceptional customer services

The staff were very hospitable, welcoming and extremely helpful with any need you may have. Great facilities such as good internet connectivity. The mountain view was absolutely breath-taking. I would stay there again. A big thank you to all the staff at the Bellevue for taking good care of us.

Best customer service ever! I had Morocco bath at Bellevue spa today. It was the best Morocco bath I had in Addis. They are polite, gentle and professional. Keep a good work! Shout out for all Bellevue works out loud

They need to train their staff. The staff try but they just don't know what they are doing especially int their restaurant. I received a fantastic massage in their spa.
