Service & professionalism is great but i find them deceitful. I emailed prior about my medicare coverage & etc. But after numerous emails "bulk Billing" was never mentioned. So they were quick to answer & book me in not telling me that i would have to pay an additional fee as im not 100% covered. On arrival i was told after filling in my info that my Debit card will be needed for storage/records. Instead of taking my card at the start & telling me the real reason why it was needed i wouldn't have gone ahead. But reception insisted to do it after the session. RED FLAGS !!! Once i was done, i was being charged as i wasnt fully covered and that a rebate would go back into my card. THIS IS 100% shady and deceitful. if this was mentioned prior to my appointment via email i wouldn't have gone at all. ALWAYS ASK EVERYTHING B4 booking. I walked out w my ankle strapped up like a salami that i couldnt walk for 2 days as it was too tight & was stopping my blood flow. $85 out and i could have gone to my previous physio who wouldn't have charged me a cent cause his honest

Really unprofessional consultant and rude reception. Patrick was simply not on top of anything and proactive about your treatment. Said one thing and didn’t do it the next because he has a last minute birthday day off. Claim he is going to send a video of an exercise and didn't that do that either. The reception changed her tone the moment you told her you’re not going ahead with the treatment. If you guys want reliability and professional attitude, go elsewhere. I came to Bend and Mend because of the high rating. Obviously we shouldn’t believe all good reviews. Take it from someone who have been through the bad. Fiona, the owner called and tried to offer a compensation, but I don’t think I want a health carer who I had a bad start with. If you guys really want Bend and Mend, just avoid getting Patrick if you can.

As a corporate in the city, the Martin place location was ideal. My physio Patrick, provided a pretty open schedule so I could easily make an appointment. It is worth noting that my visit was more on the proactive side rather than reactive. My Physio (Patrick) was excellent. He took time to listen and understand before diagnosing. He was able to find two potential issues with my lower back and neck (Basically from sitting at a computer all day). He was able to do some adjustments and take me through some of the exercises that would be beneficial. He followed up with an app that has daily exercises that provide feedback for him so he can understand / help you outside the sessions. My whole experience was excellent (at least my first session). 5 stars to Patrick and Bend and Mend.

Bonnie is an absolutely fantastic phyisio! . In addition to providing 'regular' physio services, she also provides women's health physio services, and her expertise in this regard was absolutely invaluable both during my pregnancy, and postnatally. I also do physio-led pilates with Bonnie, and again, she has been absolutely fantastic, working with me both pre and post pregnancy. She really cares about her patients and she goes above and beyond to ensure that I am not only healthy, but happy in where I'm at and with my progress. She always makes time to fit me in when she can when I call asking for a last-minute appointment as well. All in all, I simply cannot recommend her highly enough. The care she provides to her patients is second to none.

Started coming here due to a glowing review from a friend, and can definitely see why! Everyone who works here is super lovely - Shontelle at reception is always smiling, really friendly and helps out with any queries I have. I'm seeing Emillie as a Physio and she is super patient, very thorough and has worked through a really reasonable plan for me to follow to get my mobility and strength back. She listens to all my ramblings about random pain and is able to address them quickly and with instant relief. The location itself is super convenient - a short walk from the Wynyard Station entrance on George St - and their appointment and class times are really flexible in schedule. Definitely recommend their services!

They get all 3 things right: Quality, Efficiency, Warmth. QUALITY OF CARE - I have always received sound professional advice. That can't be taken for granted - my experience with other practitioners (physiotherapists, GP's, etc) has been patchy. A SMOOTH OPERATION - The front desk team are efficient and helpful. I have never been made to wait because of other clients turning up late or over-talking - and the place is pretty active. I don't know how they manage to do that, but it's good. WARM & FRIENDLY - It's great to walk out on time having had good, effective treatment. But to walk out in a good mood as well - that shouldn't be under-rated. They're just... good people.

Over the years, I have referred many colleagues to the practice, having been a client for probably over 10 years now. Even though my treating physios have changed over time, the treatment works for me, and there are no "machines" used as I have experienced at other clinics. It's all hands-on manipulation, (I may be slightly addicted to the dry-needling), and rehab exercises that are specific for me. I have much better posture, I understand how my body does/doesn't work, and while I still go through occasional phases of issues, I no longer live in almost constant pain, and have been able to achieve something I never thought possible - run!

I've really benefited from doing group pilates classes here weekly during my pregnancy, all the way up until 38 weeks. The instructors have been fantastic, so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They've tailored my program to suit my changing body and needs and I have no doubt that this has been a major contributor to the fact that I've had a healthy pregnancy and minimal aches, pains or issues, and remain as flexible as I can be at this stage! I can not wait until I get the all clear from the doctor to exercise, and will be back weekly to help build up my core strength and focus on any areas of weakness.

I saw Bonnie for Pilates and advice during my pregnancy and after pregnancy. Bonnie is very knowledgeable and continues to expand her knowledge by attending conferences to ensure she is giving the most up to date and best possible care and information to her patients. Bonnie answers all questions in a comprehensive and honest way which I found very helpful - particularly as I asked lots of questions! She is also very kind and genuinely cares about her patients. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Bonnie to assist pre and post pregnancy.

I attended the pregnancy physio classes in Martin Place and was really happy with them. The classes are limited to 4 people so they are able to focus on each woman individually. I really liked this about the class, each week Kirsty would talk to me about how I was feeling and we would then focus on addressing any pain or discomfort I was having. It was also really nice having other expecting mums in the class to chat to. Overall I had a really positive experience with Bend and Mend and will definitely be back to them again in future.

It's somewhat odd to say you look forward to seeing your physio, since that would generally mean you're in pain. But every time I book in a session with Kellie I know I'll be in good hands - she's always so reassuring & patient & knowledgeable. With the pilates classes Kellie (and the other physios) certainly take a keen interest in your progress. I've definitely seen benefits from doing the classes over the last few years and will continue to do so hopefully for many more years to come!

I had a great experience at Bend + Mend with Chris, working on my shoulder rehab. He was extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and supportive throughout the period I was coming to the clinic, and I really felt like I was in good hands! He was also very creative with his exercises, and always made the sessions fun and varied. Thanks Chris, I really appreciate the time and effort you put into helping me with my recovery!

Meredith Chapple is a fantastic physio and provides an amazing service - she always makes sure I'm comfortable (which is important for a women's physio when you're working on sensitive areas!!) and is so thorough during our sessions, I always feel like I get so much out of them. Bend + Mend is also wonderful, easy to get to, nice rooms, and the receptionists are so friendly! They make the whole process so effortless!

  • Ashley Scarlett

Just want to share my incredible experience with Meredith yesterday. Thank you again for helping me with my chronic neck pain. She articulated and explained what was happening in the cervical spine. Gave me a few releases for hypermobility, not to mention trusting her to release the suboccipital region with dry needling while reassuring meditation what she was doing and why. So happy with day 2 results.

  • Joey Shaw

An exceptional service, with highly skilled and knowledgeable practitioners offering a personalised and progressive approach to recovery and rehab. After undergoing emergency spinal surgery this year, it can be hard to know who to go to for recovery. There isn't another physio practice I would recommend more highly! Their specialist support for women's physio too is highly recommended!

Got an appointment quickly, really knowledgeable and friendly physio (Blake), great understanding of the risks of my injury so encouraged me to have further testing that revealed problems not previously diagnosed by the ER or my GP. He called me as soon as the results came in from my MRI and referred me for further treatment. Great location (Darling Park Sussex St). Highly recommend.

  • Yen Lay

Friendly and warm service. I initially attended the pregnancy Pilates classes and moved to Telehealth sessions as Covid kicked in. Both Kirsty and Emilie have been amazing, helping me through my pregnancy and managing my symptoms. Exercises were targeted specifically to my needs and the program on the app was so helpful as a reminder for me to do the exercises at home. Thank you!

  • Jen VP

I’ve really learned a lot and enjoyed my experience with Bend and Mend. Facilities are conveniently located and excellent and Helena from the team has been just phenomenal in guiding me through pregnancy there and for at home... and she is just so lovely!!! Bend and Mend has played a really important role in my recovery and I would recommend them to anyone!

  • Leesa Andrews

I like the chat we had in our first appointment as this gave me confidence and trust that Ben had my best interest at heart. It’s also amazing that Ben communicates with my Personal Trainer. Ben is easy to talk with and he is very professional and thoughtful regarding my sessions it’s good to know he has a plan in place and that we are working towards it.

  • Carol Basili

Highly recommend this place and especially Fiona. I originally came here for physio a few years ago and I now do weekly Pilates classes as part of my rehab and injury prevention. All the physiotherapists are highly skilled and professional. Fiona is absolutely fantastic at getting to the root cause of injuries and getting you on the right treatment path.

  • Rosy Sullivan

The locations are great, and for me the Martin Place location is terrific - they open early and late which is perfect for busy people. The physios are knowledgeable and care about your individual situation. I used this service over 5 years ago, and have now needed to return - wouldn't have considered coming anywhere else.

  • Steven Gilbert

I have had both knee and shoulder problems for years and Mark was a massive help with putting me on a program that has resolved all my issues and given me great insight into the mechanics of these areas and I have come out a much stronger and wiser person! A very professional, honest and positive experience!

  • Lucy Dwyer

Friendly staff who specialise and are thorough. I can't remember the bloke I saw last for my neck but he was excellent (Cameron maybe?) And I can't recommend Tori enough, she is fabulous, she has helped me through two pregnancies and a delight to go and see. Despite her sticking needles in me!

  • Chris Robertson

If you ever have shoulder surgery to repair massive tears in your rotator cuff tendons then this is where you need to go for your physio and rehab. Fiona is just excellent and has helped me recover much faster than I had expected. Great location in the CBD and friendly staff too.

  • Daniela Moore

I highly recommend Bonnie Bloomfield from Bend + Mend for any women's issues. I saw Bonnie for post pregnancy recovery. She's extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. I started off with one-on-one sessions with Bonnie, then moved on to group clinical pilates sessions.

  • Kameel Martin

I have been seeing Emillie for a couple of different injuries over the years and she is exceptional. She is incredibly knowledgable and has a wonderful manner, I would recommend Bend + Mend Physiotherapy, and if you can see Emillie you won't be disappointed.

  • Joanne Nguyen

I came to Bend and Mend for my lower back pain which had been an issue for a year or so. After seeing Bonnie and taking clinical pilates, my back pain has disappeared! I can't thank Bend and Mend enough for their amazing service and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Cara Christofi

I had my first session with Bonnie last week. She was really knowledgeable & professional and made me feel completely comfortable during my session. I look forward to continuing my care at Bend & Mend and getting the results I'm after.

  • Sal A

I had two sessions here with two different physio's and felt both were quite rushed and not very helpful. I replied back to one of the physio's I saw via email however didn't receive any response back

  • Allan Manuel

Exceptional physios. Having worked here, i know the amount of effort and investment the B&M team put into moulding expert physios. I now come here as a patient! Highly recommended.
