worse hair day ever, I paid R2500 for a rose gold color, showed the pic to the lady, I even asked her a few times if she can do the color without damaging hair as the price is a lot for short hair, she said yes, you will see how lovely your hair will come out. My hair was broken and damaged and then the excuses started to say that my hair needed more bleaching, you cannot just get the color in one day but I must come back in 2 days times and i will definitely get the color, I walked into the salon after 2 days, she was so confident saying don't worry, your color will be amazing and that my hair wont get damaged more. my hair was looking even more damaged and I did not get my color. She made excuses upon excuses and the rest of the staff was gossiping with some of the clients because I made a moan about it. Then they went on to say that even if I got the color, it wont suit me cos I'm not as white as them. i need to have a different skin tone for that color to suit me. i will never recommend anyone to go there, such a rip of. watch for the ridiculous prices as well.

Jan - you truly have magical hands! After a traumatic hair salon experience the end of 2021 , I built up the courage to try someone new today and I'm ecstatic that I've had the chance to meet Jan! I contacted Jan on whatsapp, provided the history of my hair dating back 4 years and showed my desired outcome. My hair was not the healthiest but Jan got my hair to a gorgeous grey, leaving the hair integrity as it was! They set the expectations and I really felt comfortable throughout the whole process as they explained each step of the process. Finally! A proper hair salon. I've just moved to town from Australia. After having horrible experiences at the big shopping mall salons here in Durban, I finally found Bespoke. Professional stylists who take time to talk through with you what you want and whats achievable. Sally was brilliant. Plus the salon is very welcoming, very modern, great open layout, and safe/protected. Lovely way to spend the morning. I already have my next appointment booked.

I've only had my haircut by Lynelle but I've been going back every month for several months now which is saying something. She's great at what she does and knows her way around a pair of scissors. My haircuts are always fantastic and she knows how to keep them modern. Very comfortable and has a great atmosphere in general, something you don't generally notice but makes for a better experience than a majority of places I've been.

Please save your time and money and go to another salon. The lady that attends to customers walking in is a total racist. I noticed how chatty and friendly she is with people of her own race. When it came to serving my friends and I, she was cold and extremely unfriendly. So as to say, like what is your type doing in my salon. Wake up! This is a new South Africa. Maybe add a sign on your door. " We prefer white customers only"

My hair was a complete mess and Jan had did a beautiful color correction, it was complicated but she achieved it in the ending. She never rushed, she took 6 hours and 20 mins to sort it out, not only did she sort it out but she had given me a beautiful ombre. She is an incredible hairstylist and a friendly person to easily get along with. They took all the precautions against COVID. Great experience will definitely go back.

I had a wonderful experience at this salon. Natalie is brilliant with hair. Even impossible hair like mine. Plus she's friendly. She put me at ease when stepping out of my comfort zone when getting a whole new style. She gave me exactly what I was looking for, a low maintenance hairstyle that suits me. I'm not gonna bother looking for anyone else to do my hair.

Absolutely talented colorist that had done my hair. If you're looking for someone who knows how to color then see Jan who I just brilliant at what she does. She Is a professional and surely will meet your expectations when it comes to coloring hair. The environment is quite relaxed it's situated in a nice little area which has security and parking.

I simply love every visit with Grant. The care and attention that he pays to my hair helps give it a life of its own. The awesome conversation always heightens my every experience. Grant is a true artist. A must!

A very professional service from Sally. She suggested a great style to suit me and did a great cut. She is very aware of covid protocols . The salon has perspex between chairs and Sally wore a good K4 94 mask .

I had an amazing experience with Lynell and Layla at Bespoke Hair! My hair was damaged and needed a cut and highlights and I was totally blown away with the end result. Definitely worth every penny!
