Best Buy: The Land of Broken Dreams (and Cameras) I've been on a quest to find a Canon 90D camera, and I've been having some bad luck at Best Buy. First, I drove 136 miles to Tucson to pick up a camera that was listed as "open box," only to find that it was nowhere to be found. The employee told me that the website is sometimes incorrect, but I'm starting to think that they just don't know what they're talking about. Next, I drove to Las Vegas II to check out another open box camera. This time, the camera was actually there, but it was completely unusable. There was no battery, the cover was gone, and the lens was scratched. The employee told me that they would give me a discount, but I'm not sure if that's enough. I'm starting to think that Best Buy is the land of broken dreams. If you're looking for a working camera, I would recommend going somewhere else. Or maybe just buying a lottery ticket instead. You're more likely to win that. I drove 136 miles to Tucson for a camera that didn't exist. I feel like I should be in a country song. Or maybe a Coen Brothers movie. Or maybe a scene from "Thelma and Louise." I'm starting to think that Best Buy's open box policy is just a way to get rid of their broken cameras. They know that people are less likely to complain about a broken camera if they think they got a discount on it. I would recommend that Best Buy do a better job of inspecting open box cameras before they put them on the floor. They should also make sure that the descriptions on their website are accurate. If they do these things, I might be more likely to shop at Best Buy in the future. But probably not. I'm not sure if I would recommend Best Buy to anyone looking for a camera. I've had too many bad experiences with their open box policy. If you're looking for a working camera, I would recommend going somewhere else. Or maybe just buying a lottery ticket instead. You're more likely to win that.

So nice to be able to go into a place that has current tech in stock and people you can talk to about features and options. I've stayed with Best Buy because the prices are competitive and with their Total Tech plan I get delivery, basic installation and a warranty extension at no extra cost. Unfortunately they are significantly cutting back the features of that plan, which will probably send me to Amazon. I hate it. I've have a house full of electronics from Best Buy but they've removed my primary incentive to continue purchasing there once my current plan has expired. I would have preferred to see them raise the annual fee over the action they took. However this purchase for a Ring security camera went well. Great assistance in the store and a quick delivery/install schedule. I'm still covered under the old plan until next year.

We purchased a 65" Samsung OLED TV and a new receiver from John at Magnolia. He was very knowledgeable and was able to set up installation with the Geek Squad. First, Andrew Seamore came out and inspected our current system and advised what we needed. Next, the amazing team of Bryan and Ryan at the Geek Squad installed our new system, and also moved/installed the existing TV to another room. Bryan and Ryan were very patient and answered all our questions about the options and apps on the new TV. When I discovered the price had dropped considerably on the TV, Andrew quickly issued a credit to our account. Thanks again for this amazing team! We are enjoying the beautiful, crisp, sharp picture and the new easy-to-operate RF remote. We encourage everyone to visit this location. Start with John in Magnolia!

She’s mid because they have a small selection for Samsung. The lack of organization makes it difficult to find things. So, many employees, by so little customer service as no one tried to assist or ask if any customers in the store were finding everything all right. Then witnessed someone stealing and the security following them outside for a some basic item. Which obviously the whole team directed their attention towards that instead of helping guests . I would imagine Best Buy with more knowledgeable and helpful associates.

I ordered a 70" tv online... got the notification that my order was ready to be picked up. Drove to Best Buy, checked in for curb side pickup. A man came out and asked me to pull up in front of the store. Waited a WHILE they were busy.....two men came out and said they couldn't find my tv and would upgrade me. I parked and went inside....one of the guys, i think a mgr was really helpful and fast, beyond my expectations. Long story short, I did go home with a 70" tv at a Great price!

If I could I’d give it a 0. I hate the system they have in place to try to contact the store. They have no real way to get in contact with management or associates for that matter. There was an employee who kept giving me creepy vibes. He was mentally undressing me and kept following me around. Practically breathing my neck. I left the second my brother paid for his item. Never going into this store again. Ladies please be careful around the male associates.

Keelan and Edwardo were absolutely amazing, came in with my girlfriend and we were looking for a monitor. Keelan was wonderful while helping us, super friendly, kind, and personable. I came back a few days later and bought another of the same monitor with my grandma and Keelan helped us again, he introduced himself to my grandma and overall was just a wonderful associate who has great product knowledge and Edwardo is a great manager as well.

I did some last-minute Christmas shopping at the Best Buy on Rainbow. What a great experience it turned out to be. I was expecting that it would be hard to find any assistance. It was quite the opposite. The staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and available. Ana was my sales associate and she was excellent. She really is a credit to the team there. Plus the price of the item I wanted was more than reasonable. Thanks Best Buy!

This is the best Best Buy in Las Vegas! The staff is phenomenal and so friendly. They are very helpful and can give you some much needed tech advice and/or recommendations. This is my go to Best Buy for in-store purchases. I've bought everything from game consoles and games to TV's and movies, and even appliances! They've also done the install of front and rear facing cameras for three vehicles with no problems whatsoever.

Need more sales people. Seems like there short handed. Otherwise great place to shop and buy if you're wary of online. They do online to pickup too. Suggest buy online first. Then come in to check out products on the floor first before pickup. Then you could cancel the purchase if you don't like what you bought. No return needed. And they only charge your card at time of pick-up.

Purchased a Laptop. It came on first day ,then few days came back to it to personalize main screen wouldn't show. Made an Appointment with Geek squad PC hadn't did any new updates was new computer. Simple fix so glad happy customer As it wasn't any more in stock nor a open box...really wanted my Laptop. So happy because it was a birthday gift to self. Small yet does the Job

I stopped by hoping to buy a robot that shoots lasers out of its eyes and is capable of throwing my enemy's 3000 feet in the air. I didn't see anything like that. They must have been sold out. So I just bought a charger for my phone instead. Works great. Charged my phone in 30 minutes, and I was back to looking up robots on youtube in no time. Thanks.

They had my standing freezer I needed for work. I did a online purchase of a standing freezer. It was priced amazingly. They had it ready for pickup in like 30 minutes. They were prompted in bring it out to the car. They were also very nice in helping load the freezer in the trunk.
