We came in looking for a pair of Google Pixel earbuds for my husband. The sales associate in the area said he didn't know where the earbuds were located even though the store had two in stock according to their website. We found the price tag for the earbud display, but couldn't find them on any shelf to grab for purchase. The associate said we should stand in line at the checkout because they probably had them behind the counter. We waited in line for a long time. First there was only one person on the register, then a second person started accepting customers who were there for an order pickup, and finally a second person got on the regular register. When we got to the front, we explained what the other associate told us and the cashier said he didn't have them behind the counter but he would track them down. He then searched the front caged area, the front room, and the back room for them. It took a few minutes but he brought them up to us and got us through the checkout process quickly. Although it was a long wait, it was really nice that the cashier was so willing to help us so we didn't wait in a long line just to be told he couldn't do anything and we would need to wait in the line again after tracking down the earbuds ourselves.
Went to pick up an item by curbside. Sat there for 25 minutes at least. The app shows it could take up to 10 minutes for them to bring the item out. After attempting to call with no answer I, inconveniently, had to go inside. Waited in line for the cashier to say they never saw the notification come through even though I had it pulled up on my phone with the number to show them that I was here. She then asked if I could pull up on the curb. This was another inconvenience as I had to go back outside, move my car, then go back in and wait again for her to help another customer. I have managed retail. This was unacceptable for customer service standards. She asked if I also needed help carrying it out. The purpose of curbside pickup was to not lift the item as I am unable to due to a back injury and for convenience as I just finished working multiple jobs myself. I rarely leave lengthy reviews but I would hate for anyone else to sit there for as long as I did and deal with everything I had to when it should have been a simple task.
We had researched what we wanted on line. Had picked out 3 items totaling around $1100. (2 TVs and a switch) Went in to physically look at them and then apply for the Best Buy credit card to finance it all. We walked in..... were NOT greeted by the guy at the door (he was on his phone). Walked past 3 other associates and was not acknowledged. We looked at the TVs and decided to purchase. (There was also another family there looking for help too) looked around and if u look at the pic I posted you'll see where the associate was. The whole time we were there he stood and watched the football game.... didn't even look towards anyone. We walked through the rest of the store (just looking) still no contact. Disgusted, we went to leave. As we headed out, the young man at phones acknowledged us. TOO late.... we'll spend our money elsewhere. (Btw...the guy at the door didn't say anything as we left either) maybe the store needs to close during the chief's games as it is pointless to go in there at that time
Let me start off by saying the three stars are for The Geek Squad but the Best Buy employees 1 star!!! The young man working on the screen protector saw the bubbles on the phone and whispered to the guy standing next to him and then a minute later passed me the phone and said here you go. It took everything out of me not to throw that phone at him. So I'm Petty I set the timer on the phone took him about another 3 minutes and 48 seconds to discover that he was not going to be able to do what needed to be done and the guy standing next to him saved him and gave me another screensaver and sent me over to The Geek Squad. The young man working over at The Geek Squad area Save the Day. I'm more or less just irritated because he saw that the phone was messed up and still handed it to me and said here you go. for the record the only reason why I'm not putting names is because I didn't get everybody's name and I don't want to throw the wrong person under the bus.
Friend paid for a monitor and set the pick up for me to get it for her. Made the effort to get to the store around 8pm and was told that my name was not set up as the pick up person. Asked that they check twice, Best Buy guy said “no, your name is not on here”. So I went home. She had to get it the next day. My name was all over the receipt for pick up. In fact, when she parked and had the package brought out, it was my name on the “your order is ready” delivery slip. So here’s what’s up: I was trying to shop less online, and this is the thanks I get. We lost a lot of time, could have had the right thing brought to my door in the same amount of time. Best Buy will end up being half the size it is, or maybe gone all together, if the employees can’t get their heads out of their backsides. Because instead of driving to work at Best Buy, you’re going to be driving for work (for a tyrant) delivering to my door, the same stuff you can’t get right for me to pick up.
The people working here are nice, friendly and always offer to help. While we were there, about 5 employees tried to prevent a man from leaving, nothing hands on, just words- but he took off running. All the way to the back of the parking lot, took a left and was almost out of sight, when he came running back. He had shoplifted a phone case and was now running back towards the store. Did he have a change of heart? Nope. He ran up to a car parked right next to the store and got in on the passenger's side. The car took off. A couple of employees were standing outside watching... and got it all video taped- the guys face, license plate number, all of it. That wouldn't have happened had he not ran back to his ride. He did steal a phone case- did he not have a phone to let his accomplice know where he was? A call to the police and a video and you're caught. Don't try to rob a bank guys, you'll never make it. And thanks for the entertainment!
The people on the “geek squad” remote positions were not understanding my VERY SIMPLE question and so I decided to call the Best Buy I bought my laptop from, this location, because this was regarding that purchase and an add on I was supposed to receive. Not only did the lady on the phone who worked at the flintlock seem extremely inconvenienced by my question and frustration not being able to talk to someone clearly who was a “remote geek squad”. I was on hold for 10 minutes, and the lady who answered from this location transferred me to another “remote” very heavy accent person and who could also not understand what I was asking. I spent 40 minutes bounced around people and I am very dissatisfied. I am a patient person and have worked in customer service for 7 years and have never been so frustrated at an experience regarding another companies customer service until now.
Had what I needed. Store was a little disorganized. Update: Store and company has gone downhill. Prices have skyrocketed, Employees/Management are pushy/condescending and getting them to warranty or return items is almost impossible! They try to find and reason possible to blame the Customer instead of owning up to their issues and mistakes! You would be better off buying your basic items from somewhere like Amazon (great return policies). The Major Appliances/Television/Laptops/Electronics from Costco or Sam's (Again Great Return Policies). Cellular from "Corporate stores not 3rd party like here. I CANNOT recommend "Best Buy" any longer. If you shop with them be prepared to be disappointed.....
Amber was extremely helpful with finding the right webcam for me. We also looked at options for laptops that had cameras installed in them already. I was so appreciative of the customer service, I kept making myself think of new questions to ask. It's not often you get that quality customer service. I debated on making this a four-star review, because I hate Best Buy in general. I also hate that I had to go shopping here. However, good people deserve to be recognized, Amber did absolutely great. I wasn't given a link for a survey on my receipt. This happened at the Liberty Best Buy on August 30th 2023 between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Nick one of the managers made this one of the Best buys around. Since he has been working less. This best buy went from a five star to a 3 at best. Service and care for customers has went down. Me and 3 others waited at least 45 minutes to look at computers. 2 of us were ready to buy one. Two of us got tied of waiting and left. I won't be returning I still got a computer. Just At the best buy in ks. The manager cared. Walked in they found somone quickly. Even though they were short handed. The still made sure somone helped us. This best buy needs nick back, or his caliber of a manager back. They are going down hill fast.
Had an appointment scheduled to get my iPhones screen replaced. Shower up and was advised the systems were down since 3pm my appointment was at 540. No call was issued to advise not to make a BLANK trip to the store. I was advised another Best Buy could do it however the employee didn’t even offer to reach out to the another store to see if they had appointments available. I get the systems being down but don’t let customers waste their time if you know they have appointments scheduled. Couldn’t even leave the phone so when the systems is up it can be fixed without making multiple trips.
So I am going to be a Karen here, but I hate that I call the number provided and it links me to a call center. It takes me between 5-7 minutes before I actually get to talk to someone just so they can connect me to a store. Only when I ask them to connect me to a store, they say it goes against policy. When I said “what if I needed lost and found,” they said you can leave a voice mail with the store manager. So, the call center verifies that have the item I want in stock, I drive 45 minutes to get there, only for the store to have sold it off 2 minutes before I arrived. Infuriating.
DO NOT go by these 5 star reviews. When my dryer was delivered I gave it a 3 star review and Best Buy changed it to a 5 star review. When I contacted Best Buy they said it couldn't be edited or changed. FRAUD!!! I also asked the third party Totaltech guy to make sure nothing was left in my dryer in which he replied "Nothing is in this dryer." A week later I'm looking for my sheets and no where to be found. Yesterday I tore my house apart looking for them and they are gone. Then it dawned on me. They were in my old dryer. The dryer that the guy said was empty. WRONG!!!
I had a great shopping experience at Best Buy on Flintlock. I was looking for a new TV and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and helped me find the best model for my needs and budget. They also offered me a free in-home consultation to set up and install the TV. The best part was that they helped me load the large item in my car, which was very nice of them. I really appreciated their service and professionalism. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who is looking for electronics and appliances.
Got a great deal on this 3070. Staff was very helpful and price matched it for me. All very friendly and you can tell they have a genuine passion for games and computer components. Talked to my agent there for a minute about the old days of SLI with gpus lol, and some games we both enjoyed. Talked to another employee about annoying scalpers and Warhammer 40k while I waited to get the gpu. Wish I got their names when I was there to include it in the review, but all the agents were very helpful so they all deserve praise!
Best buy was busy. That to me was a good thing. But needing help, it was hard to get someone and even then I had to wait till they were done with there current customer. That was the (not too bad) thing, but overall them having business is still a lot better. Once they could help they got me my product and I was out the door. Oh one other thing to note. They now charge for bags, so if you have a lot of stuff it will cost you more, I had one item so not having a bag was no biggie but to some it might matter.
Very friendly staff. Lots and lots of electronics variety, so they almost always have whatever tech my heart desires. Prices are reasonable, plus they hold frequent sales. The store itself is kept quite clean. The displays and demo areas are very nice and helpful for getting info on most of their products. They may ask, but they don't ever make it feel like they're pushing their credit card offer(s) on you, which is a great change of pace compared to certain other stores.
some of the employees are young and don't know what they are really doing, although they were able to do my job and they have been all nice to me, one of the nice associates helped me ordered a nice monitor, and the others have helped me with a ton of stuff, but i think this location should hire more people as i feel like this store has an employee shortage, and they should hire more experience employees that know that they are doing.
Received a gift card from a return, the PIN has a letter in it which the app will not accept for online orders. Called to speak to customer service at this location, was routed overseas to a representative who put me on hold to pull up my account and then hung up. It’s no wonder they’re shutting down so many stores. Once this gift card is spent I will no longer be supporting Best Buy.
I don't know what it is about best buy but I personally don't like going to them. When I went though it was a quick time at least. Someone seen I was struggling to locate something and they pointed me in the correct direction. Even told me the secondary place it would be if it wasn't in the first place. (It was) All I purchased was an aux cord and it has been working great so far.
I was very disappointed in the very poor service. I paid for a computer and had to drive to another store to get it, only to find out that they didn't have it either. Then, I had to drive almost 30 more mile to a different store to finally get what I paid for. I paid higher taxes, spent a lot of money on gas, on my own time, and never got compensated or offered an apology.
There was a guy here who helped me find a gaming PC that went above my needs at a great price point. He was very knowledgeable and has the ability to help someone buy all of the parts they would need to build a PC. He spent a good amount of time helping me find what I need. This kind of customer service is hard to find and I was very happy with my purchase.
I have bought a dishwasher here since March 20. I don’t know what wrong with the system. They kept rescheduling me ( sending wrong teams or damaged dishwasher). Now in May, I still have to wait to get it since it not get done yet. Since I don’t use the dishwasher much I don’t rush on them. But it is unacceptable for 2 months and not even get done yet.
I bought a lifetime warranty for a screen protector. They no longer sell the screen protector that is for my phone and were unwilling to actually help assist me in finding out what the next step was. They basically said it wasn't their problem, I could buy the protector from somewhere else, and they could install it. Lesson learned on my end.
This is the second Best buy store in the Northland that I have visited in the past 2 days. Each time I walked back to the car electronics was unable to find what I needed and was never approached by a store employee for assistance. Walked out both times with no one the saying a word to me. This might be why online shopping is booming
I visited Thanksgiving weekend, and the store was busy. You should ask a sales associate for help, and he/she will add you to a queue. I waited over 10 minutes, but I was given all the time I needed once I was helped. Best Buy has good sales and promotions, so check the inventory online or in the newspaper before you go.
I walked in the door and someone asked me if they could help me. They took me to the game systems and then went to the back of the store to find me an Xbox series X. I was out the door with my purchase, in 15 minutes at the most. So happy with customer service and I will be back, this is my new favorite store.
I wanted to buy an Apple laptop. I could not find anyone to help me in the store. I went to my car and tried to call the store, which was impossible. It is quicker for me to drive to Nebraska furniture Mart to purchase a computer as opposed to waiting on hold to find someone at the store to speak with.
Every experience has been amazing. I’ve most recently upgraded my iPhone here this past month (March 2023), they had the iPhones in stock that T-Mobile didn’t. And I got my Apple watch here back in 2018. Very professional and nice ( the blond lady that helped me with my phone was the absolute best)
The best electronic “adult toy store”! Tvs, sound bars, computers, cameras, antennas, phones and more. Our latest purchase was 2 “Canary security cameras”. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Wanted a security system without a lot of fuss but could see home Activities from my phone. Perfect
Waited 30 mins to have a simple question answered. Employees would rather socialize than assist customers. They also sell SSDs but don't sell the components to install them. If you have PC needs DO NOT go to best buy. They'll take your money and then not sell what you need for your product.
Ordered online because I needed the electronic quickly, and my close store didn't have it. By the time I drove over from Independence, it was ready to pick up. Staff greeted us at the door and got us to pickup right away. Check out was quick and easy. I'd go back again.
This continues to be the worst Best Buy. Never anyone around to help and they always seem to forget their curbside service exists. I live right down the street from this location but I will continue to make the drive to Tiffany Springs so I actually get service.
I stopped in to the Best Buy in Liberty, Missouri looking for a simple 12 inch subwoofer enclosure. To my disappointment, they do not carry items like that anymore in there store. The online website showed they carried that item but I guess it was wrong
I came in to upgrade my phone, and the Galaxy reps were super helpful. Muhammad was also very helpful and kind and made sure my phone was up to speed before leaving the store. Definetly recommened Muhammad and the Galaxy reps for help and assistance.
If I could give this store a zero star I would. The last two times I have been to the store I have had terrible customer service. We were in store last night, and my husband had to return something and nobody helped us until we had to find
My husband and I were searching for a new TV. We decided to look at the LG 65” OLED C1 and C2 in store. Originally, we thought the C1 was better suited for our budget. We found an open box C1 in a Best Buy an hour away. On our way out, we
Usually you expect to be stopped by 20 different people in blue shirts just walking through the store.. not at this location, not anymore anyways. Stood looking at bluetooth speakers for about 20 minutes trying to get someone's attention
I love Best Buy, and I spent several years working at this particular store. It’s a great place to stop in and grab a quick gadget or upgrade your cell phone. Best Buy always seems to have great deals too, picked up a GoPro Bundle today.
Came in to do a monitor recycling offer, initial person that took my monitor didn't seem quite with it? Seem very displeased I was aware of a promotion that was going on and "doubt it will work" mentality was not a particular good start
I thought I knew what I needed & had ordered it online to be picked up at this store. However, I found out when I that, it wasn't going to be able to be delivered. I was very impressed by the efforts of the young people working at this
Don't use the pick up outside , I just waited 45 minutes to be serve wile others was coming and go in front of me . When I ask why they lie to me and said that the order wasn't put on when I got my screen shot since 40 minutes earlier
Went to geek squad nearly two weeks ago. They told me the part needed to fix my daughter's iPhone would need to be ordered and it would be 3-4 days. They said they'd call my number when the part came in. Nothing! I've heard nothing.
The geek squad guy who helped me was awesome and told me how to fix my laptop and cheaply and exactly what I needed. And in terms of the store itself they got my item quick and easily when I was exchanging, no questions, no hassle.
We did not get any help. The guy behind the service desk just stood there on his phone, and didn't say he'd be right with us or anything. We did eventually get help from the guy who stands in the front of the store.
I had the most pleasant experience at this location. My associate Hayden was so patient and he knew the products and services and he even got me to purchase insurance on my device, which I never usually buy …
No staff at all to answer questions. Had to go to the geek squad to ask for help. Store was clean. Had 1 of the two items I was looking for so ordered it off Amazon due to how long bestbuy could get it to me.
Polite, professional, and knowledgeable staff. Clean location with modern presentation of products and services. Location access, entrance, showrooms, and restrooms are fully ADA accessible.
I ordered our new Coffee maker as a pickup order. It was brought out to my car in a timely manner. Easy peasey. I definitely recommend a pickup order here at this Best Buy location.
The store was clean and tidy. Their stock seemed low on game consoles. The staff was helpful. I was looking for something specific but didn't find it. Or I would have given 5 stars.
Liberty Best Buy just needs more of a selection. It’s just not near what most of their stores are but the people are nice and helpful. It just needs a makeover in my opinion.
Still nice to know you can't get any help inside best buy. Employees standing around and talking among themselves. Meanwhile, I'm leaving and going back to Target.
Waited over half an hour trying to buy a new phone only to be told they won't take my old phone as a trade, even though the best buy website lists it there.
I was helped and checked out almost immediately after I arrived. Very efficient employee working in the video game department. She was extremely helpful.
They had most of what I needed in stock, but I had to hunt for an associate to get the help I needed and the items from the back of the store.
I was given excellent, knowledgeable service relative to buying a thumb drive to save photos on so my phone would have more available memory.
Very clean and organized. Love that the digital labels all Best Buys are currently using. Definitely enjoyed browsing and shopping here!
Horrible customer service there will be 8 employees standing around talking to each other but not one will come help with a customer
Mohammad was great to acknowledge me promptly and answer my questions about the different brands and screen features! Very helpful!
Every time I shop here the staff is very friendly and helpful. It makes my shopping experience fast and easy.
Would be nice to walk into a store that had clerks that knew anything about what they were selling
They were excellent I needed pictures in my phone moved to my SD card, it only took a minute.
The best buy here in liberty mo has good knowledge staff will to help .would recommend them
Pretty good prices and great employees that answer the questions you have about products
Ordered online and arrived before the order was ready still got me in and out love it
Great customer service. Switched my SIM card and transferred data. Real Painless
Very helpful employees. Found what I needed and explained all my questions.
The staff is always so willing to help and make my shopping trip easy!
Fantastic and helpful staff. Price matching. Always great inventory
Always great service. I'm able to find most products
