I wish I could give "no stars." I will caveat that the sales person was trying their absolute best to help, without the support of good processes or management; so this poor review is mainly for Best Buy management team. I spent 2 hours of my life trying to buy a phone with an activation deal. This means that the carrier (Google Fi in this instance) and Best Buy need to have their systems sync for the phone to be activated before ever opening the box, even before you get to the point of purchasing the phone. My account got activated, but the Best Buy system glitched and couldn't get to the purchasing step. The next two hours were the Best Buy salesperson and Google Fi rep trying various troubleshooting steps to get the purchase to go through. Management needs a contingency plan in place for when systems fail and glitch. It was basically a technicality that wouldn't let me purchase the phone at the right discount rate. The manager alleged there was no way for him or anyone else to ring me out for that price. They also did nothing from a Customer Service perspective to smooth over the interaction or show any empathy or sympathy - letting their salesperson have to awkwardly take the brunt of the poor situation. That is an astoundingly bad manager for someone in a Customer Support role. The box was in front of me, but I couldn't buy it unless I wanted to pay full price - even though I newly activated with Google Fi which was the conditions of the salesprice. I never go to physical stores anymore and buy on Amazon always - and this experience has solidified for me how useless in person shopping is. If I can physically see the phone, try to give you my money, and you won't take it; should've just gotten 2 day shipping. At the end of the day, after wasting almost 2 hours of my life - I walked out without a phone. I'm a busy working mom; 2 hours of my life is could be playing with my son, finishing an assignment, cleaning, actually doing something restful for myself or calling a friend. I will never shop at Best Buy again. My friends and family will never shop at Best Buy again.

I tried to purchase a laptop from Emeryville BB. Website said they had one. However, the associates were not able to find it. So today before going to any store, I decided to call first to confirm they had stock. I was going to subtract one star for not being able to talk to the store directly. When you call, their phone customer service picks up. I explained to the first person I spoke with that I wanted to make sure the stores had one physically in stock before I purchased. I didn’t want to buy it online or over the phone, show up, and they can’t find the laptop - most stores were only showing one in stock. She was not understanding me and wanted me to place the order without confirming the laptop was actually there. I hung up and called again. I spoke with another person and explained the same thing. She checked stock in several stores. Only the BB in Santana Row showed two in stock. I took the chance, thinking what are the odds that two $2k laptops would be missing. Showed up and purchased an ASUS ROG Zephyrus 16” laptop, extended warranty, accessories, etc. About +/- $3k. One star added back because of the nice lady I spoke with on the phone, and for the wonderful staff at BB Santana Row. I walked in, got my laptop, but wanted to shop around some more. They held my laptop and let me walk around to shop. I went to the computer area and didn’t wait one minute before an associate asked if I needed assistance. I explained my needs, he offered advice and suggestions, and answered my all my questions. I am very happy with my purchase and overall experience - from the second phone call, to the staff at the store. Thank you so much!

I usually come for all my technological and gadget needs at this best buy, normally I have a good experience. Everyone is nice, except for today. I went to the second floor where I found the employee by the name of Van, at first he was nice, asking if I needed help, I was looking into getting an air purifier as part of the daily deals, but first I had some questions. This employee just said oh I think it might be in the back, then he disappeared and came back 5 minutes later with the filter. I was confused as I did not request him to bring it right away. I was just like ok, so he just started scanning but always seemed like robotic, like he was not eager to help, but rather just ready to make a sale. I get it that’s the business, but no one buys something without knowing what they’re getting into. I said I will use my moms phone number, since the total tech membership is under her name, something is nice. Then he just says the final price and I was like I think there might be a reward, he didn’t explain anything he just said no, i tried telling him that we just bought an iPad and there might be one, since we used the Best Buy card, and again he is like no, you have to wait 15 days. Well if I didn’t try to explain he wouldn’t have said anything. I decided not to escalate anything, I just made an excuse to cancel the transaction and not deal with this employee any longer. He was just robotic, pushy and not willing to explain something that I am naive about. Kind of disappointed as I left without my purchase, maybe perhaps will look for a further Best Buy

Wonderful store. It’s the best place to buy TVs in this area. They offer a “Total Tech” package with annual renewal. This service provides free installation of products you buy there, even wall mounting TVs. It also extends the manufacturer’s warranty. I was able to call them to get help with my sisters router that we didn’t even buy there. It’s really a great option. Upstairs they have Magnolia hi fi where they sell high end stereo equipment like McIntosh, Klipsch and the esoteric brands and even $20,000+ speakers from B&W and others. They have hD streaming music boxes and turntables. It’s really a joy to listen to a $100,000 stereo up there. The web site has the most reviews for many of the products they sell of just about anywhere on the internet. Plenty of parking in the parking garage and even a bunch if Tesla Superchargers on the 3rd or 4th floor. Friendly staff and free same day shipping on many products. Best Camera department around besides dedicated camera stores. Great selection from low price to top of the line for most of their product types. Nice display of computers where you can try them out. Even appliances. I’ve bough a over the range microwave that they installed for free and did a great job. I’ve bought a 4K OLED TV for the best price around. Recently bought a Netgear range extender that they matched the price of Amazon and offered next day free delivery. Highly recommended!

Ok, here's the real deal rating for Best Buy Store & Best Buy Ratty App, guess you know where this is going specially if you've tried the app. I'm an audio freak so love having the store so close so I can not only hear the products but see them up close and personal before buying. I enjoy most of the other products they carry as well. So the store gets a 4+their cust service at the store is a solid 4 which is 90 better than other retail these days, no retail in my recent memory warrants a 5 these days, if you do know of one please share..now. BB mobile app is anouther story, my recent 1400 order got canceled twice and when after 2 weeks and finally hvg to go to the store to order they left my apt number off the order so this caused ups to delay each part of that order, part of this was ups fault because BB cust service added my apt number very quickly, any way, fix the app please! So many bad things about it that this day and age there's no reason not to hv an easy to use, decent app to order from..still...I love their products and the in store people are decent knowedgable caring folksand I ramble wayyyy to long✌️

Best Buy proved a rough experience. The latest: double billed us for our new SONY TV. Before? Gave us a delivery date they promptly (next day) canceled. Sent us a Geek Squad guy 4 days later who left without completing the set-up, the next GS guy left after set-up but our remotes failed to work properly. When we contacted BEST BUY about the double billing they noted our phone number in case we got disconnected... and we did! Did they call? No. It's been a poor experience. WEEK LATER ADDITION: regarding the double-charge, instructed to return to the BEST BUY store. 45 min later (in-store) it was sorted out, with their insisting it had been a "system error." In the end, it was the Xfinity guy who got all our remotes working properly---Francisco was so helpful and he taught us a lot about the SONY. The product is excellent. But why did a "system error" plague us, why did the GEEK SQUAD seem so rushed and left us wanting, and why did we have to invest so much time trying to get everything in order? Yes, things may go awry. Love the SONY Bravia OLED, though --LOL (posted 11-14; purchased 10-25)

Martin is the worst person who works at the store. I am an elite Best Buy member. I bought two phones, one of the phone was not charging properly but he refused to help and was arrogant has no sense to talk to people. Although Best Buy on call member told me to exchange the faulty piece at store and app was mentioning return date of 24th august. He did not honor that. I showed him the phone doesn’t charge properly he was making face and told me he can’t change it. He is not aware of any exchange policy and refused to honor the return date on the application. Secondly he did not believe that I could afford the phone and said “I am forcing the fault ion phone it looks like I want to miss the $45 dollar restock fees” which is very disrespectful from an BBY employee. He should understand that I earn too and he is in service industry. he should not demean people financially. In nutshell, He is arrogant has bad attitude to talk people and demean them with money. He is not aware of any bestbuy policies. Save your time and don’t deal with this person

Came by this Best Buy to look at e-ink tablets. The host by the entrance greeted me but didn’t know what it was. After I explained the concept, he said to look at the tablets section or the laptop section. He wasn’t sure where I would find it. The escalator down didn’t work, I had to locate an elevator to get back down. Three guys were chatting in the laptops area, so I asked them for help. One of them walked me through their tablet options. None of the leading e-ink tablets were on display. The only one on display was a kindle oasis with a frozen screen (nothing was clickable) and the other one was a fire tablet but it was locked, so you could only see the retail promo videos. I came here to compare the experience of using Remarkable, Onyx Boox, Supernote and Kobo. I left disappointed. Not only they had none available on display, they didn’t even know what I was talking about. This Electronics store in the heart of Silicon Valley knows less about tech than my own grandma.

Unfortunately I can't give any lower than one star. This review is based on nothing very serious, only about how this store at Santana Row handled (didn't handle) an attempt to deal with a fraudulent charge on my credit card for $1425.78. Twice, I tried to contact the store and was either connected to Google or was connected to someone at the store. After I reported the matter I was put on hold where, after listening to horrible "music" for extended amounts of time, my call was picked up as a fresh call by someone completely new to this. In other words I was just sent through an endless loop. Both times. A complete waste of my time which means nothing to them. They've lost my business and if they're not going to keep loosing business they need to hire enough staff to deal with their customers. It would seem like a simple concept but maybe this is just how things are going to be here. Regardless, it's inexcusable.

Last week I ordered around $4000 worth of Computer parts to build a pc through Best Buy. Parts trickled in throughout the week, and I started the build Friday night (Friday before Labor Day). As I open the Box I found my $600 CPU I ordered was missing from its case. I panicked and headed straight to the nearest Best Buy to my house, the location on Santana Row. I spoke there with the manager Kevin. Kevin very calmy and very directly explained to me that he would have to contact corporate and help me file a case. It took some time since it was a holiday weekend, but the day after Labor Day, I walked out with a Brand New CPU (I check the box in store this time lol) I have worked in customer service for over 10 years, and the level of customer service I recieved was second to none! Big shout-out to Kevin! Faith in humanity: Restored!

Checked my ID cart and social like 10 times added to their system and did not work to pay from my best buy cart finally i paid all cash and they give me an opened box phone. Honestly its not fair. I paid 1300 and something $. They were talking to each other although costumers waiting for them to get some help specially on phone area. I hope the relevant department fix and train well their staff. I don’t need you OHH I AM SORRY instate you finish your work in the right way. Come on people. Great - bustling and roomy two storied store in the prime location. Have enough variety in store and on display in all categories from movies to high end appliances and home entertainment. What I have always liked is that you can try and see stuff you are interested in and compare. Also this store is likely to have items in stock compared to other locations due to its size and foot traffic. Parking can be tricky if going there during peak hours - but you will find it as someone is always leaving their space. I use curbside extensively and it has never failed me so far. Holiday rush may change that - which is to be expected. Prices are competitive and they do price match with most recognized retailers. As such this is my go to store.

  • Dru Down

Called and asked about online promotion and was told they will honor it at this location. Left the Milpitas store, showed up and was told the person who said he could do it left for the day and can't honor it. Then why not remove it and tell everyone not to honor it and be done and stop playing game. I'm done shopping at best buy after today. Called the store, waited for 5 mins before someone picked up and it was the operator not the department I choosen in the phone menu. Got transferred and the phone rung and rung and all of a sudden I was hung up on. This happened to me just about every time I called. It is best to go into the store and not call. Really going to stop shopping here after I return my items.

  • King Joe

Excellent helpful staff!!! Also management, I was helped by (I hope I'm writing her name properly) Ms. Elewisa & Ms. Vanessa which both were unbelievably nice & spent lots of time to assist in my transaction & they resolved my issue to the best outcome. In case someone in upper Management happen to read this review, you really really really need to do whatever it takes to keep those girls in your team, they're extremely helpful, NOT only to me but also to the employee who was trying to help me & so he went & got them to take over assisting me & they helped him learn new things to be able to assist other customers who need the level of assistance that I needed.

  • Delia Rio Benitez

They do their best - after COVID lockdown and partial shift coverage the store is struggling to get enough attendants to help walk ins locate items. I’ve ordered items online and locked up curbside with some ease, although the website and store inventory doesn’t match reality - multiple times on-site I’ve experienced poor match up to what is claimed to be on shelves and what actually is in stock. No judgement for the employees but more scrutiny to the lack of good training of use of tools to keep inventory correctly tracked. A weird place we as consumers live through as technology and end users catch up to matching excellent customer service - hence 3 stars.

  • Оксана Гончарова

Terrible service! Nobody came to us for a long time. And even I asked for a conda to come up to us, they were not in a hurry, despite the fact that the store was empty and all the sellers did not understand what they were doing! Not much is available! the shelves are empty! Fitbits are displayed, but you can’t try them on, because there is no one to try on! I don't understand why it hasn't been closed yet? I'm very disappointed! And at the checkout, I said that I have a discount, but they didn’t break it for me, I had to ask again to add a discount. I will not go there again, so as not to spoil my mood that you are perceived as an empty place!

  • Steve Sander

They had a good selection of Chromebooks and Windows laptops and a section of Microsoft tablets and a large section of Apple products. The TV area seemed to be the largest area with sound bars and all kinds of accessories for TVs and theaters. There's great parking next door at the parking garage for Santana Row. There was a large section of computer games and many accessories such as speakers and chairs and keyboards and mice. The employees seem to be very knowledgeable in their area but not so good in the Google products and Amazon products. It was a little alarming though to see the guard at the front door was actually wearing a gun.

  • Rebecca Hassinger

It's a Best Buy. Not much to say except that, for the name, I've seen better buys. In seriousness, though, this was the second Best Buy I tried to purchase a Chromebook from and while they do have them on display, it seems that they don't actually keep them in stock? I didn't see any actually available to take up to the counter, so I assumed they had them locked up somewhere and instead took a picture of the label for the one that I wanted. I showed the image to a young guy at the counter and he asked if I wanted to order it. No, my dude. If I wanted to order it, I would have done it online, not battled with Santana Row traffic.

  • Mona Gonzalez

I know I needed to purchase a couple of things, but I really didn't know what exactly I needed, I am SO not computer savvy. One of the employees named Gabriel, helped me out tremendously! He not only showed me the different options that would help me, once I decided what I needed exactly, Gabriel also helped me set it up! And explained step by step how to set it up and how to use it after. I APPRECIATE his patience and help! He is an outstanding employee, kind and professional!! I was so impressed by Gabriel, that afterwards I spoke to his manager, John, and explained what an excellent employee Gabriel is. So stress free!

If you're in need of any electronic equipment, look no further than Best Buy exceptional store. The moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, guiding me through their extensive range of products. They took the time to understand my requirements and provided personalized recommendations, ensuring I made the right choice. The electronic device I purchased has been a game-changer, delivering outstanding performance and functionality. I can't praise this store enough for their exemplary service and top-quality products.

  • chris cheng

Dealing with idiots support at Best Buy isn't news to me, but this store is in a whole other level. I walked into the store simply wanted to do a return. The rep's first instincts is to STOP me from doing it. A whole crew of employee come questioning my statement. Their manager told me my order has passed the return date. I told her I am elite plus member. Then she made up other excuse saying my item is not returnable and never looked up my order. I went home to check my account and only to find that I still have 3 weeks to return the order. I went and successfully returned it at another store.

  • Archana N

Staff at the checkout counter were helpful and answered all my questions. The website was better at promoting the offers than the store, they didn't have any information on the promotional offers for the product I was buying anywhere in the store and I had to bring it up since I had seen it online. Gerald helped me with the TV selection and made the process very smooth amongst many overwhelming choices so I 100% recommend going to the store if you are overwhelmed with the choices online. I wanted to check out food processors but there were no for display or in stock at the aisle

  • Subsmav Ksusvnag

I recently visited Best Buy store to upgrade my smartphone, and I'm thrilled with the entire experience. The store had a vast selection of the latest models from top brands, and the staff was incredibly helpful in assisting me with my decision. They took the time to understand my needs and recommended a phone that suited me perfectly. The purchasing process was smooth, and they even helped me transfer my data from my old phone to the new one. The phone itself is fantastic, with a stunning display and impressive camera quality. I can't recommend this store enough!

  • Alice Song

If I could give ZERO or a negative star, I would. THE worst customer service you'll ever experience in your life! They will not honor anything that they've advertised in their store. The guy that "helped" me out ripped off the price tag right in front of me and lied to my face that it's not the same price when in reality, it is!! They will treat you like you're lower than dirt. Plus all of their products are priced a LOT more expensive than any other places that sells the same exact appliances. A bunch of liars and cheaters. Avoid this place like the plague.

  • SwanSwipe

They have most of what you'll need nowadays when it comes to electronics. They always seem to be in stock and I've never ran into any issues with their products. Their return policy is all over the place, however. I wanted to do an online return for a camera battery but the cashier refused the return due to going past the return threshold. The cashier did not know there is an additional week for online returns so a manager was happy to help me with my return instead. Overall, I will go here again but I will have to be more careful about returns/exchanges.

  • antoinettelogan kmd

i walk into the door saw two staff members standing at the front i ask for portable battery of 42watts because i got insignia at best buy two of them & i wanted other one & they told me i never ever heard of battery that has 42watts did you find it well if im able to find it & me doing your job then i won't be standing here talking to you so someone from best buy & it was this same location help me find insignia so great good store just lazy employees standing around not able to find anything just able to talk whats so hard to search & type

Best Buy store is a great place to shop for all your electronics needs. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to help with any questions or needs you may have. The store is well-stocked with the latest technology and gadgets, and the spacious and well-lit environment makes for a comfortable shopping experience. Whether you're in the market for a new laptop, TV, or any other electronic device, this Best Buy has it all. I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for the best in technology and electronics.

  • Nitin Rajput

Went in to replace a defective product, for the second time. An X-box controller. And I was "warned" that this is the final replacement and they wouldn't replace it again. They send me a defective product twice, and I'm the one that gets a warning. How is it my fault that the product doesn't work when I opened it twice? Why guilt me for needing a replacement to a defective item that I received? Maybe don't send defective items then. I'm not a fan of driving back and forth for a product that should have been working to begin with.

  • Mary Czarina Ordanza

This is a review about the geek squad specifically, I scheduled an appointment via apple support for my iPhone X battery replacement service and the guy told me you have to replace your speaker too, otherwise we wouldn’t do it because it’s “our policy”, i don’t do the policy he said. Frickin bummed, wasted my time. My initial fee was 69$ just for battery + speaker which is 79$? More rip off than car dealerships, at least they don’t force you to do service that you don’t want/need at the moment. I would stay away from these guys.

  • Susan Cohn

Everyone we worked with was wonderful. Sarah McFadden from Pacific Sales was very knowledgeable, made sure we got the information we needed to make a decision and got us a great deal on our built-in oven. The crew that came out to install it were also great. They were polite, spent time making sure we were happy with the placement and understood how to operate it. We also are buying a TV and found everyone we worked with in that department very knowledgeable and again, got a great price. Thanks to all who helped us.

  • yung-chin Chen

Our washer was broken. We ordered a washer. We scheduled the delivery. They did not show up but they lied to us that they could not find us but we were at home all the time. Then we schedule another delivery. They text us that they will arrive in 20 minutes, Again they do not show up. We called the Best Buy and found out they did not have the item available for delivery! No one told us but they just keep lying to us. We had bought a lot of items from Best Buy. This company sucks. Wish they go out of business.

  • Joshua Bae

Favorite location. There was on over billing issue after returning a unit. They did not cancel the activated line. During the most critical time of pandemic, they only accepted curbside pickup. So, I was thinking that by returning the cellphone it would automatically get canceled. Because there are two vendors things get complicated. And usually they just toss issues to each other. Vanessa proactively helped me spent close to half an hour to resolve all the issues. I appreciate her willingness to help.

  • Naseem Aslam

We made an appointment for a site survey. We were told that someone would give a call a day before to confirm the time window. The person calls and tells my wife the he will call 30mins before coming and then sends a text with 12 hours window. Do they expect us to stay hime whole day and wait for them? We tried to call the store but no one answer. What’s going Best Buy? Customer Service used to be good hut seems like it has gone down the drain. Maybe another retail store casualty in making.

  • Abhishek Rajput

Best Buy is one of the most known go to shopping spots across the states and this branch is situated in San Jose area. During my visit to San Jose, I explored this Best Buy store and it was worth it, they have got almost all the lifestyle, electronic items etc for fulfilling the household shopping needs. The staff is super-helpful and the service is quite fast, talking about the variety of products, I'd say they've got you all covered with their offerings.

  • Alise W. Condie

I needed a laptop for school but was torn about which one to get. I was set on Apple, but couldn’t decide between the Pro and the Air. Collin was an excellent guide to help me choose!! He was mindful of my budget, my processor speed needs, the type of work I would be doing, screen size, etc. He was seriously so knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. I’m confident that I made the right choice thanks to his help. My MacBook Air works wonderfully.

  • Jayasimha Nuggehalli

Located in Santana Row, Best Buy is one of the last few electronics retail stores left. They have wide variety of choices. Customer service is pretty good, they were very helpful and were able to address the questions about the product well. They do have price matching policy and it is very easy to do online. Parking can be little hassle during busy hours in Satana Row Parking garage. Good place to visit to buy appliances, Cameras, phone etc.

  • Susanne Millar

If you need appliances, right now, Best buy is the place to do it. they are having some really good Black Friday sales that you can take advantage of now and in addition to good prices you get gift cards back depending on how much money you spend. I went to the Best buy at Santana row and both customer service people I worked with were knowledgeable and professional and quick at their job. They made buying appliances really easy.

  • Siu Tahitua

Instead of answering my questions and showing me options for purchase all 3 employees tonight rushed and tried to pressure me into buying. I couldn’t even hear my own thoughts with them constantly pushing and bombarding me. I much prefer the younger laid back staff downstairs. The older generation upstairs need serious customer service training. Never force or push me, I will walk out and not buy anything like I did tonight

  • Huang Xingwei

Really disappointed. Worst experience with Bestbuy washer & dryer delivery. ordered LG refrigerator and washer & dryer on 01/18/2022 and scheduled for installation on 01/17. They showed up with only two people and told us they can’t install it today. So we rescheduled to 01/22 between 2-6pm, then we wasted the whole day just waiting. They didn’t show up and not even one phone call to notify us.

  • Steph Deck

Geek squad dropped the ball. How can you rate an open box item as “excellent,” without even looking at it. 12inch kicker speaker was rock hard (seized), covered in sand and cobwebs. The screws were ALL RUSTED. You could even smell the burnt coils upon opening. Wish I could attached pictures. Only giving two stars instead of one because Best Buy is good but Geek Squad is terrible.

  • Michael Chai

Terrible customer service and efficiency!!!! Never believe the order online which shows you can pick up within 1 hour. After order I went to the store and it took me forever to wait here and they said they can’t do anything to speed up. I mean, at least 90min. Come on man, you show expected 1 hour in the page so I’m here. If not, why I come so early??? Time is money, ok?

  • Karen V Chin

Nice to have this if you want to actually touch and buy something in person versus online. Sells electronics (TVs, Cell phones, accessories, PCs, Laptops, Tablets, etc) and home appliances upstairs. Sad to see the store not busy (again, thanks to online shopping) and not many actual sales people on the floor. Not one sales person came up to me and ask if I needed any help.

  • LEONARD W. BURGESS II

I GOT BLESSED AT BEST BUY I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A TELEVISION BECAUSE I'M ABOUT TO GET AN APARTMENT MOVING FROM HOMELESS TEMPORARY HOUSING!!! AND NEED GOOD TV I LOOKED AT A LOT OF PLACES FOR ONE AND BEST BUY HAD A BLESSING FOR ME. 50' TCL ROKU SMART TV FOR $239.00 $268.49 OUT THE DOOR!!! HALALUYAH!!! THANK YOU!!! "GOD & BEST BUY" SINCERELY, LEONARD W. BURGESS II

  • Antonina Ettare

I went in to get help with my home WiFi system. My main goal was to get a stable signal in my backyard. The sales guy pointed to a +$300 mesh system, the most expensive, but gave no reason why I should use/buy this particular model. Went back home and did a little more homework. Bought a different system not through Best Buy. Oh well.

  • Alan Rowe

I went mid day but be prepared to park a few levels up. But the stairs are just right there. Staff person was helpful and it went mostly smoothly. They just didn't have much for what I was looking for (not current gen Google pixel accessories). Probably have stuff online but I like to see how they look on my phone before I buy.

  • Jim Pacelli

I was more than HAPPY. The place was well run, help got the job done. I was & am a happy camper. I was looking for a cover for my phone. They offer me a selection. I one I picked is a gem & was $29.00 off. It suited my needs an really is a swell. The help really showed interest. It got the job done. Made me very happy...

I wasn’t sure which Laptop to buy and needed feature and price comparisons. Natalia helped me not only to compare but to narrow down my search to one! Also provided trade-in & geek squad related infos. She is a very helpful & courteous girl ! Her happy to help gesture made a huge impact Wayy to go! …

They have a decent variety of gadgets and the price is very competitive. Though, I was expecting a better range of brands , instead of the traditional ones (Apple and Samsung). The good part of this unit is that they have a lot of open-box clearance goods. Take a good look and you will find something worth it.

  • Geneva Strickland (Neva)

Large selection of electronics and accessories. I do mean large. Prices are great especially if you buy an item with a opened box. Saved $100 on my laptop. Returned items with no problems. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Always shopped at Frys before they closed and I'm happy to say I found a replacement.

  • Levi Berghorst

Ya know, customer service is on the decline. There were plenty of staff on board, however, most were on a display device, or seriously trying to ignore customers. I asked 3 employees where to find what I was seeking and just got a pointy finger. The reason I asked 3 is cuz the first 2 were wrong. ?

  • Adam Darsh

Came in looking for a prepaid AT&T sim card, and described the plan that I read about and wanted. Asked one of the staff about it, and they said that they couldn't do that. So I kept looking and found exactly what I was asking about. Asked another member of the staff about it and they helped me get it.

  • Mike Caplan

Not as much character as Fry's...but it will do. It's time to move away from blue shirts, though. Please. Their rewards program is odd. Recently noticed they had stock issues ..they said their computers were down and they couldn't order anything...weird...ransomware? Anyhow.....yeah....Best Buy. Woo.

  • j sheridan

Best Buy has streamlined their pickup process so that you can be in and out in about five minutes. You must use their app though and follow through the prompts like you have arrived, what car you are in, and where you want your store picku put in your car. Fast and efficient. Highly recommended!

  • Ralph G

It was wierd with so many employees standing around but everyone was nice. Store did not have much in stock and I could listen to the speakers I was interested in, in the Magnolia room. I ended up buying speakers elsewhere that were on close out but I loved the B&W silver anniversary addition.

  • Julia Tat

This is the second time I have driven all the way from the east side to this store. After comparing the other three stores, this store provides the best service. I received a great service and a great deal when I shopped there. They looked for a deal and gave me an explanation of each deal.

  • Armin Weiner

Large variety of electronic products and even though it was black Friday the foot traffic was flowing and plenty of products were on the shelves. Checkout was a bit slow but still flowing as well. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful and directed us to the recommended products. Thank you

  • Arjun Trivedi

Disappointing when it comes to customer service. This place has some useful electronics but the worst service staff who are disinterested in providing any quality service to customers. I ended up buying a prepaid card here and was left feeling like i had to serve myself to everything

  • Mar Slio

This place is understaffed. Nobody available to help. They are also out of a lot of items. If someone like me goes to the store it is because we do not have the knowledge and confidence to buy online. The store should provide the help that the website cannot and will never give you

  • A S

Was rushed and provided an email proposal with no customers around. Would have appreciated a quick overview of washer / dryer features. Staff could dial down the sarcasm when I quoted 2500$ budget for a washer / dryer. The two salesmen on 2nd floor need to stop self appreciation.

  • Leo' Travel

I think they just happen to be at a good spot, but selection on items are limited. Parking is easy. But if Santana Row is busy, you will be limited as well. Friendly staff and just across the street from Valley Fair Mall. I would come back if I happen to be visiting Santana Row.

  • Alan G

Store was clean, organized, and employees were very helpful and attentive. There's a lot of precautions being taken during the pandemic which makes the store experience feel safe. The selection of products there is also abundant and you can find most electronic items you need.

  • Juan Clavel

Placed a order for a graphic card for my PC within 1hr item was ready for pick up. Arrived at best buy and staff was friendly besides the employee standing at the front just awkwardly staring and not asking if he can help me in anyway. Pick up process was fast and convenient.

  • Richard Bernhardt

Best Buy is a fun store. Many different things to choose from including tech and appliances and more. Many staff seeking to help, perhaps a not too much. Very friendly though. Prices could be more competitive, but not too off of other places. Nice clean and bright store.

  • Indra Singhal

One of the few brick and mortar places to buy tech products. Their $49/yr My Best Buy program is pretty good... Especially if you buy something that has a special price - making the annual plan free or highly subsidized. The Santana Row store is huge and well stocked.

  • Nick G

This is the Best Buy you can visit!! There’s an employee named Jose and he was super friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend to come here if you need anything! I come here frequently because of how helpful he was! Always giving me the best support possible!

  • Ashok Setty

I enjoy the experience of walking into an electronics store and buy stuff. Got a nice Dell gaming laptop for a nephew. Great customer service. I appreciate the efforts by the sales associate (and appreciate the management in providing professional training!) …

  • S H

I wish the gentleman in the TV department was more active and helpful. Mike was great with knowledge and impartial. He recommended Sony but also explained why it is better and how others may have some qualities that are comparable. He helped me make my decision.

  • Holly Renee

Got a 65” tv that was “open box” while labor day sale was happening for only $330. Mount for it was only $80. Amazing help from workers at the shop. If I need anything I can get at best buy, I will come back to this one. So accommodating and respectful!

  • Nerissa Flandez

Lucky store! I help my client purchase a computer for her office. She ended up purchasing 2 computers (all in one) and a set of security cameras. Oh well, sales person was really nice, knowledgeable... Thanks Daniel!! at Best buy at Santana Row.

  • greg olszewski

I was there to buy headphones because I need a new ones because my old ones wouldn't hold a charge anymore and I needed to go running for a couple of hours. I tried to buy some off of Amazon but they didn't ship them in time. Point is I was

  • Sanjana Naik

Talked to 3 different staff members about where to find USB cable and they just sent me across the floor multiple times. No one asked what type of USB, or walked me to the right place. No one was particularly busy, or too busy to help me.

  • Shishir Garg

Some of the worst service I have had the misfortune of experiencing. Service people just hang up if you complain about broken/damaged or missing items in your orders. Ordered a large number of appliances from here, highly not recommended!

  • Joey Susbilla

This is going to be my new goto electronics store since I’m moving to the south bay. They are very helpful here. I tried to do a price match but Best Buy had labeled it as an exclusive item so I couldn’t. The parking is not too bad since

  • Dan Johnson

I love going to Best Buy in general to browse and look around, but at this one I frequently see the same couple employees (maybe I’m just lucky) that I assume are full time and it’s always great customer service! I get help instantly and

  • Anshuman Vijay

The customer care manager was really rude at the return counter. He wasn't aware of return policies from external vendors, was unwilling to listen to customers and just said it doesn’t apply. Best Buy Sunnyvale was great unlike this one.

  • Jason J

Best Buy has a good selection of a lot of items and their gamers club program is hard to beat. Parking is decent but sometimes a hassle due to Santana Row traffic. But it's nice to be able to see tech in person and not just online.

  • icgibby

Just a warning for anyone wanting to return items and get refunded - I returned an item($68.99), purchased something for $10 & was only refunded $38. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be making any more purchases at best buy.

  • Abraham Kang

Had a really great interaction with the knowledgeable sales rep at the Apple section of this store. I was only going to buy an iPad but because he showed me the functional keyboard mouse covers and pencil, I ended up buying both.

  • Kendra Morandini

Easy to follow instructions on what to do. Big stores like thst can be confusing at first so very nice to have someone at desk right when u walk in to ask for help if needed, and not bother if u dont need help. Kudos Best Buy!

  • TOBE ABEAR

BEST BUY "IS" the place to go for all your Electronic needs. Especially for TV'S! If you have questions about anything, their employees are well trained. Most are very Courteous (but there's always an Apple in every barrel).

  • Eric Carlson

Only game in town to get your hands (literally only physical location) on electronics. Of course, Santa Row is already nice and thus the store is too. Good selection and reasonable prices if you want something now

  • Steven Palmer

Has whatever electronics you'll ever need! Ordered online and ready for pickup within a couple of days. Went to pick up my things and it was super smooth at the pickup desk with no line. Highly recommend a visit!

  • Ramy Kila

Everytime I go to this store! I regret it lol. It’s slow, people are inexperienced and it’s always a worse best buy experience than other store. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this store for pick up or shopping!

  • Oscar Gonzalez (Oghennylo)

Had to visit the geek squad to get a Nintendo switch looked at. The staff was friendly and helpful. They walked me through the process explaining everything. I appreciate the level of customer service.

  • John G

They're the last big electronics store in the area, so not we don't have much choice but to shop there. They're pretty good for smartphones and tablets, but the accessories are overpriced there.

  • Derek Gomez

Staff is super helpful! Choosing a laptop to invest in is hard, but Ovi helped me choose the best one for my situation. He was polite, friendly and he knows his stuff. Give that man a raise!

  • Jae-Hee Kim

It is a good deal for Z Flip4 because in the limited time, a trade-in promotion is working now. So, I got the Z Flip4 with about 55% discount from the original price of 999.99USD.

  • Brenda Sanchez

The best buy was a nice store employees were great only down side is the parking, although they have a garage it was packed . Took me longer to find parking then to get my things.

  • Axelle Melin

Their Geek Squad is excellent. Prices are told upfront, no surprises, and they are fast and explain well what they do to fix your computer—best $100 ever spent on tech support.

  • Tina Salacup

I'm not sure why they don't have a Facebook Portal, Rayban Stories & Samsung appliances kiosks unlike the Blossom Hill. They have bigger Magnolia rooms here though.

  • Cat Woodmansee

Buying Apple products from the BB website is a perfect experience. Can then drop by in an hour or so and pickup curbside. The associates are friendly and competent.

  • Alex Sigala

Great service in general!! All the people who work there are very friendly and they always are able to help with anything you need. Great experience buying here.

  • Chrissie Teo

Great friendly service answered all questions showed us best item we were asking about even looked up items that weren't in their store in stock on their website

  • Elizabeth 000

Staff is always helpful & willing to answer questions. Shelves were empty in certain sections but I’m sure that it’s more due to colleges returning to school.

  • CHEF PARTH

This place is amazing to buy the electronic & there staff is really helpful to solve your queries & even making it pre-order for you if they can

  • JRB

It's quite the large store. Very friendly and attentive employees. But why display McIntosh amplifiers and then not carry them in the store?

  • Renovate Max

Great experience, good customer service, very knowledgeable and helpful stuff, answered all my questions regarding PC and Laptops!

  • Steve Giordano

Great staff went in to buy a television was done loaded in the truck and eight and a half minutes love Best buy great job guys

  • Vittorio Suter

Better spread than most other BBs I've been to. This place looks like a real store and not a warehouse with cashiers.

  • Adrien

Very comfortable experience during covid here. The associates in the TV dept were very knowledgeable and freindly.
