I scheduled an appointment on behalf of my sister she is selling her property in Charlotte and ask me to orchestrate the move. I advised the representative I spoke to my sister will be paying for the service and she confirmed the reservation. 8am the day of the move the representative calls to say she has to confirm the payment with the card holder I give her my sisters number to confirm keep in mind it’s 5am in Los Angeles where she is but none the less she confirms with her and everything’s fine. The mover shows up and I greet him and start showing him around he immediately starts telling me that he can’t take the tiles I showed him if they are not boxed he doesn’t ask if I have boxes he goes straight into we won’t move that I say ok I can box them let’s go ahead and look at the rest of the items he confirms everything else is ok he calls the office to advise her to charge 4 hours in advance which I thought was odd because I’ve worked with several moving companies before and I’ve never seen someone do that so I got on the phone with representative at the office, and it’s my opinion that the mover judge me because of the color of my skin I am a younger black woman, and I believe he immediately wanted to charge the card, making the assumption that I wasn’t going to pay I told the representative over the phone. Go ahead and charge it. It’s fine I don’t want any negative energy. I just want to get this all done She then begins to tell me that the card that I’m providing is not acceptable. Keep in mind she called in the morning to confirm with the card holder and now that the movers arrived and saw that it was a young black woman all of a sudden they want to charge the card in advance and then when I said it was OK then they said that they don’t want to use the card at all it’s very clear to me that this mover came in and took one look at me and made assumptions about who he thought I was. I explained to them that they can go ahead and cancel. God bless them and I closed my door. I am extremely disappointed by what I know was prejudice. It was shameful the way the mover behaved and I would never use nor recommend this company if it was made clear that the card could not be used at the time the service was scheduled then things would be different, but you can’t meet someone and then change the terms of the agreement. It’s clear that the only thing that changed is the perception they had for me as a client. It’s very sad that in this day and age, we still as Black people have to face such prejudice I have been greatly inconvenience, and now I have to find a new company to try to do the move same day, all because of someone else’s preconceived notion and outright racism. I also want to know that I tried to call to have a conversation with the manager and they are no longer excepting my calls. They have no desire to try to resolve this because I am a black person and they don’t care about my opinion. Looking through the reviews you don’t see anything positive coming from any black people

My husband and I hired the wonderful folks at Best Movers US to move our household from Charlotte to Williamsburg, Virginia, and we are absolutely thrilled with the quality of their work. It began with the first phone call and continued through to a follow-up phone call we received a month after our move. Throughout, everyone connected with Best Movers US was friendly, capable, and efficient and demonstrated that they cared about making our move as successful and stress free for us as possible. We needed the company to do all of the packing, and the owner made two trips to our Charlotte home to be sure he had an accurate understanding of what that would entail and the materials and staff it would require. When packing day came, the crew was exactly on time and worked diligently and carefully to pack every item and label every carton. They showed the utmost respect for our belongings and did a great job of moving things within our house (and down our stairways) without damaging a thing. If they had any questions about an item, they asked one of us and proceeded exactly as we advised. The truck and crew arrived at our new home exactly on schedule and again worked diligently and carefully as they transferred every item from the truck to its appropriate location in the new house. Everyone worked efficiently, but there was never the sense that they were rushing through things just to be finished. As they had from the start, they showed that their first concern was making our move as successful and stress free for us as possible. And they succeeded. Now that we have unpacked every carton and removed the bubble wrap from every delicate item, we can report that not a single thing was damaged in any way. This was not our first move, but our tenth, and if I could go back in time I would hire Best Movers US to handle every one of them. Don’t waste time shopping around – do yourself a favor and hire Best Movers US.

BEST MOVERS are what they say- THE BEST. These guys loaded and unloaded us in a little over 24 hours and drove 10 of those hours. WE moved to Destin, Florida from southpark. 2 years ago- we moved from 2 miles away and the movers did a lot of damage to our fine furniture. they took over 2 days to get there. These guys worked their butts off getting us unloaded, furniture placed, etc. It was hot and sunny for the unload but they worked at the same pace on both ends. We have a couple of scratches on the foot of one dresser and Juan went and got the furniture marker to fix it before leaving for the airport. I can't say enough for these guys- polite and worked well under stress. When things didn't look like they would fit- they somehow got it to fit in the truck, elevator, etc. they didn't leave messes behind and after watching my daughter do a long-distance corporate move and seeing a guy walk off the job, the packers show up 2 days late (on the day of the move), I was really nervous about this move. Our experience was fabulous! Thanks again and I can't write enough good things about them. so many movers use day labor that appear to be on prison release- these guys are all fine upstanding people that you wouldn't be afraid to be alone with....Juan is such a professional and so were his other guys.

My experience with Best Movers US was top notch from my first interaction (when I spoke with Patricia to easily schedule my move) through the end (when Juan and the crew finished assembling our furniture and cleaning up). No one that I know enjoys the work and stress of moving, but having a partner like Best Movers US makes the whole experience much more bearable and actually reduces the stress. From the moment that Juan and his crew arrived (on time!) the morning of my move a couple of weeks ago, he told me that they were going to work fast because it was threatening to rain (which would've required re-scheduling the move because rainwater would've made it too dangerous to walk up the metal ramp into the truck). Juan and crew were able to pack up my entire 4,000 sq ft house in what seemed like record time, all without sacrificing attention to detail and care. I was very impressed with how Juan instructed his crew throughout the move and how responsive and respectful the crew was to him and us. Juan and his guys hustled the entire day - no need to worry like with other companies who drag their feet because they get paid by the hour. These guys are professional through and through, and it's the type of company that I'm happy to recommend because they deserve it.

Update 09/18/23: Just had another great experience with Best Movers USA and want to share with everyone. My daughter ordered a couch that the could not fit into the building elevator where she lives. The delivery company left the couch so I called Juan who responded immediately. His crew finished a morning appointment and came right over and they walked the couch up 5 floors and saved the day! They are the best and most reliable movers I have ever used! Will always use them again and again! Just used Best Movers US again to move my daughter. Same experience--perfect. These guys are the best! Would only move with this company--real professionals! Great moving experience--The foreman (Juan) and crew were wonderful and worked hard thru difficult weather conditions. Great experience. Called us days in advance to make sure we were confirmed for our move date. Arrived early (full crew) and worked tirelessly to get our move done in one day (two trucks worth of furniture and belongings). I would only use these folks for any move--they were terrific!

I just finished a move I have been dreading for months. I moved once last year and the moving company I hired let me down in every way. Two words. Life Saver! I had booked another company to move me from Charlotte to Raleigh on Saturday, June 15. The other company told me the day of the move (which had been confirmed) they didn't have a crew and wouldn't that weekend, and probably not Monday. I called Best Movers. Within an hour, Mr. Zuluaga was at my house giving me an estimate. He moved me the next day, which happened to be Father's Day Sunday. They were on time, fast, quiet (it was early Sunday morning), and so courteous. They delivered my stuff to a storage unit, and the way they stored my belongings was nothing short of amazing. They took great thought and care in how my belongings were placed so I could get to some things if needed. And it was affordable. If you need a moving company, this is the only one you should consider. I cannot thank them enough for accommodating me on short notice on a holiday.

If I could give 10 stars I would. From the moment I called to schedule our move until the last item was unloaded from the truck I was totally satisfied with this company. We had a complicated move because we were moving from two houses to one. Some items were going from each house but not all. Juan and his crew were professional and efficient and did there job with a smile on their face the entire time...even when I told them the fridge they brought might have to go back to the old house because I did not measure correctly. They arrived on time and worked 12 to 13 hours each day so they could complete our move in two days. They showed up with 2-3 people to pack our stuff and 4 guys to load. They were unbelievably organized. I can not say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend you use this company if you need to move

We used Best Movers a few days ago to move very heavy items (washer/dryer, table/chairs etc.) from our 3rd floor apartment to another 3rd floor apartment and this company made it happen in 2 hours! They were extremely hardworking, careful, professional and wrapped everything up, took things apart and put them back together for us within that time frame. Every single mover was so kind and never stopped moving until the job was done. They were so personable and of course Ms. Patricia who schedules everything was so wonderful to work with. She is honest, kind, professional and makes sure to keep you in the loop as to what will happen and when throughout the whole process. We had a great experience and highly recommend them to everyone! I HAVE LITTLE BABIES AND IT WAS DIFFICULT GETTING EVERYTHING AND THE GUYS WERE ALREADY ON TIME AND TOLD ME TO PACK UP EVEN MORE THINGS SO THEY CAN LOAD IT UP. I AM JUST A HAPPY CAMPER AND SO HAPPY MY FRIEND REFERRED ME TO THEM.

I called several moving companies to get quotes. Best Movers fell right in the midrange which is what I was looking for, but it was really Patricia’s professionalism over the phone and through email that sold me. Everything went smoothly from the first call through the end of moving day. Juan and his team moved so quickly, the move came in under budget for me which I appreciated very much. They were also very professional in their interactions and I always felt I was in good hands. I will absolutely use them again! Update 3/30/23: I’ve now used this moving company 3 times. Every time it has been a spectacular experience. Juan always had a great attitude, eager to help and get the job done. No doubt I will keep using this company!

The move was amazing - as far as we can see, only one thing was broken/scratched - a picture frame. Juan and his crew of packers (3 women and 3 men) showed up on time. Juan managed the entire pack and load personally - you could see his mind working as his crew loaded the truck - everything in its place - a place for everything. Everything was packed and loaded on the truck by 4:00 pm. Everyone was super hardworking, respectful, friendly. The next day, Juan and his crew (3 men total) met us at the new home - on time and as promised. They set to work unloading the truck, disbursing the boxes throughout the house and then setting up. I would definitely recommend Juan and his crew to everyone.

I've used Best Movers twice now and would use them again in a heartbeat. They are very timely and extremely flexible. I had 1 day to move due to my lease ending and it was raining and they still were able to move me quickly from an apartment on the 5th floor to a new house. Nothing has ever been damaged and even better, they found my ipod that was hiding in a couch cushion! Patricia is the nicest person to work with to coordinate. Great movers are hard to find, especially ones that you can trust and don't cost an arm and a leg. They are a local company, family owned from what I can tell, and are as trustworthy as they come.

My wife and I used this company for a local move last week and they were wonderful! From the initial call/communication with Patricia, confirmation of the move and communication on moving day, we could not have asked for a smoother experience. They adhere strictly to COVID protocols and movers all had masks on the entire time (loading and unloading). The crew were professional, timely, and friendly. They did an excellent job with our stuff and nothing was damaged! Would highly recommend them. The total for our move was much less than anticipated - great deal!

They were great. Very careful and very fast. The care was always foremost. They worked hard straight through and didn't even take a lunch even though I offered. They had a great system and everything they suggested saved me time and money. They even had an eye for furniture placement when I wasn't sure. I'm not joking. They are even good at interior design. I thought a piece wouldn't fit in the new room and they found the perfect place for it. I could not be more satisfied. I am still amazed at how hard they worked for so many hours straight with no errors.

From the initial phone call to the final payment - this was a top notch move. I had four men moving our furnishings from a second floor apartment and a storage unit into my new home. They wrapped furniture, moved it with care and worked very hard to place everything in the right place and set up perfectly. The men were very polite. After having had some really awful moving company experiences what a pleasant change to have a GREAT company. The moving staff were professional, courteous, efficient, helpful and just really great! The made sure to wrap things carefully, didn't bump a wall or drop anything. The office contact checked in the day before and the morning before to ensure we were ready and kept us up to date on the arrival, which was on time. The cost was exactly as described, no surprises.

Very poor experience for us. We had them lined up for a move on March 3rd and they called us on Feb 17th and told us they had a 'system issue' and had to move us up a week (not possible for us) or back 2 weeks to mid March. Basically we got bumped for some reason that they wouldn't share (we have a 2700 sq ft home). Luckily Citywide movers stepped up and confirmed a March 3rd move with 2 trucks and 5 guys AND $20 less per hour.

We were extremely pleased with the punctuality, care and efficiency of the crew assigned to facilitate our move. Although my wife was by herself coordinate the pick up, she was very pleased with the safety precautions the Best Movers' crew took with COVID-19 protocol and how well they load the truck and were able to deliver my things to the new house in a timely manner. Juan has moved us multiple times since we moved to Charlotte. He is always so professional and accommodating. We are not necessarily at easy family to move because there are 7 of us and we have a ton of stuff. I’m not sure what we would do with out Juan at best movers he really is the best. We will continue to use him each time we move.

All of them had foreign accents so I’m not sure where the name Best Movers US came from. However, they did a great job. They arrived on time, worked well as a team, kept a steady pace all day with positive attitudes, and had a great system of packing and unpacking the truck. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with this group.

All of my items were carefully wrapped for protection and arrived exactly the same way as they left. They finished my job in about an hour/hour and a half which was very impressive. These guys did great work, however I was asked to pay full price for the time it took them to go back to my old residence and get the couch they accidentally threw away from the dumpster and then drive all the way back and deliver it to my new residence.
