The first time I stayed at this Best Western Plus was at the beginning of 2022. I was originally a little bit underwhelmed during my first stay. I stayed in a single queen room but I felt that the bathroom was really outdated, particularly the shower/tub. But I booked again a few more times in 2022 and grew to absolutely LOVE this location. I have stayed in the single king room, queen room & king executive(?) suite. The suite is absolutely incredible, there is a glass & marble bathroom & the shower has like 10 shower heads along the wall with a variety of stream features. It is simply amazing and feels like a spa. There is also a jacuzzi tub, however I didn’t get to test it out. There is a HUGE beautiful table and chairs for hosting & full living room sectional. The king bed is in a separate bedroom and is incredibly beautiful. The kitchenette is perfect as well. There is an agent 24/7 at the front desk & the complimentary breakfast is DELICIOUS!!!! Being able to gain best western rewards is a wonderful bonus & I love when there are promotional booking months where I can gain extra points. The location is perfect if you’re wanting to hit up McMahon stadium because it is literally right across the street.

Safety
As a single woman who travels alone, I ensure my safety and comfort levels are top notch when it comes to my hotel stays and this Best Western provides both of those things. There is underground parking & the hallway to the rooms are not like a normal hotel with isolated hallways. The rooms are along the walls of the building with the pool, restaurants & high ceiling in the centre. So there is no way that somebody would be invading your peace while you’re sleeping.

We got into Calgary late and checked into the hotel around 1130pm the front staff were great and helpful Bed was ok and room was ok Shower was hot and nice in the morning Breakfast was extremely disappointing no coffee had to wait a long time All the food tasted off and not good at all Even the orange juice and cranberry juice tastes different. Overall a ok hotel definitely overpriced for the room quality and the breakfast Would not stay there again

Hotel is comfortable. Rented a room with a single king sized bed and pull-out couch. Room was clean and had a tassimo coffee maker with water bottles supplied. 24 hr mini store in the lobby carries snacks and basic items like tylenol etc if needed. We ordered room service and the food was great. Also stayed for the complimentary breakfast the next morning which offered a variety of foods and drinks. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The only dislike was parking above ground and getting to the hotel as its tucked in a corner beside a major roadway. Definitely staying again though.

Lobby was modern and welcoming. I like that there is a water bottle fill up station. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really nice. Good selection and the meat options changed daily. Handy location to get the train to downtown or if you have a car it’s easy to get out of the city. Our room was by the elevator and it was a little noisy, until we got the air conditioning to drown it out. I didn’t like that the rooms were all open to the inside and anyone could access them from the street. I prefer hotels where you need key card access to get up the elevator to the rooms.

Had a great experience at this hotel while my 2 days stay in Calgary. Breakfast buffet is amazing with lots of different options. Front desk employees are good and professionals. Locked myself out twice and staff was really helpful both times. Rooms are good and comfy. Location of this hotel is really close to downtown which was the best part. Rates are good and worth it. They have locked basement parking too which was really good as I didn’t have to worry about my vehicle. Overall I had good experience with this hotel and will come stay there when I am in Calgary.

We have had a pleasant stay here. Every single staff member has been wonderful. The rooms are very clean and nice. I take away a star because the hotel itself is very noisy. Because all the rooms are open to the middle, you can hear everything, and the sounds echo. The restaurant is extremely noisy, and dishes can be heard banging (from third floor!) until very late into the night. I had a really tough time falling asleep. I will absolutely stay again, I will just be bringing earplugs with me.

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) loves to travel and have stayed in many hotels, and this one is fantastic! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are a good size, the entire hotel is clean (rooms, lobby, restaurant, etc.) and the breakfast was spectacular! Great food and lots of options. Great location with ease of access to our destinations, the room was very clean, super comfy beds and a good size, the food served at the on-site restaurant was absolutely amazing! The complimentary breakfast was great and hit the spot! Only two negatives we had were the pool closing at 9 and the terrible tv, a guide would be nice and done decent channels. We always stay at Best Westerns and this one is near the top of the list!
