"Beth is an amazing physio therapist"
Beth has been my go to physio for over 7 years. Years ago, while dealing with acute pain - the result of a pinched nerve - Beth was able to identify the source and worked to get me mobile again. When you’re with Beth, you know she truly cares about you as a person and your recovery. She partnered with me to give me exercises to do to support the recovery process. She can read the body so well, and takes the time to describe what she is doing and its impact on the body. She doesn’t hesitate to point out other partners in the recovery process including massage therapy and the gym! She has a wide range of knowledge and experience, and is a lifelong learner. Beth exudes warmth, care and professionalism in all of her interactions. Whether for an acute issue or regular maintenance, Beth uses her depth of knowledge, steady hand, and passion for people to make a difference. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
As a breast cancer survivor who had a serious fall in 2016, I found myself with two impaired arms in addition to a scarred chest. My right arm with mild lymphedema, my left arm with two plates and 17 screws from two breaks caused by falling down a flight of stairs. Beth has provided suggestions and treatment that have increased the range of movement of both arms, but even more significantly, made them feel like arms again so that I can participate in normal activities (eg. dragon boating) and be pain free. In addition to using standard treatments, I have found that Beth listens deeply to what the issue is, observes the patient in motion, and then addresses the issue through a variety of up-to-date techniques. In the spirit of the body being "connected", Beth's intelligent approach results in improvements in whole body wellness, which she teaches the patient to maintain.
A breast cancer diagnosis brought me to Beth’s door ten plus years ago. My medical oncologist at the time suggested that I seek out Beth’s expertise as it would be beneficial for my physical recovery after a mastectomy and lymph node dissection. Beth has seen me through both these procedures, helped manage my lymphedema, and provided care and guidance with a breast implant. She has been instrumental in my ease back into the world of fitness with all its challenges both physically and mentally. Beth is once again assisting me through a recent diagnosis of Osteoarthritis. Beth’s knowledge and compassion is what elevates her to the top of her profession. Beth, thank you so much for dedication to your craft, you are and continue to be my source of comfort through out the various challenges I have faced.
Beth was a recommendation from the oncology team, and what a fantastic one it was. She found the time to see me on short notice and was key to my recovery from two surgeries and hospitalizations. Her extensive knowledge and experience with lymphedema, post-surgical rehab, care of oncology patients, and exercises were instrumental to get me through rough patches and recovered well enough to resume a full and active life. I could not have found that level of care and guidance elsewhere. I am so grateful that she was able to see me and get me through the first six months of the battle. I would recommend her to any cancer patients. During Covid times, and while on chemo I felt absolutely safe know knowing the measures she and her patients took to keep us all safe. Thank you Beth!
Beth is an amazing physio therapist. She is totally committed to the welfare of all her patients. She takes the time to find out the issues in a very relaxing atmosphere. I have been seeing Beth for lymphedema relief for a couple of years post Breast Cancer surgery. She has quickly discovered what my lymphedema triggers are and has given me different exercises to lesson the swelling between visits. She has also suggested dry needling (amazing relief), Kenisio ™ tape application to ‘keep the juices flowing’, swell spots and compression garments. All of these I use on an as needed basis...my little arsenal of relief products! Every visit is a very positive experience and I highly recommend Beth.
I saw Beth when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago, and I have recently gone back to see her again for help working with a seroma that I developed in the breast where I had a lumpectomy and radiation. After the very first treatment I noticed an improvement in my mobility - which was not even something I had thought that I could improve on - and a decrease in the size of the seroma. In addition to really knowing her stuff, Beth is a delight to be around - cheerful, warm, competent and accessible. She came highly recommended by another friend who was treated by her, and I feel like I am in good hands. Highly recommended.

As a physician and breast cancer patient, I believe that Beth has a unique personal and professional experience that made and continue to make an important difference at each steps of my cancer journey. I really appreciate her private and cozy home office, especially when going through chemo. No busy medical waiting room with coughing patients, no need to wear a wig, and no hospital parking! Everyone going through cancer should see Beth at least once in their cancer journey. She is an essential part of the team for a better quality of life.
The best decision I made was to visit Beth two weeks after my surgery so I could immediately work on post-op complications. She taught me a lot about the body and to have reasonable expectations for recovery timelines. We worked on helpful exercises, drainage massage, and I learned about prevention strategies for lymphedema through her very thorough online courses. I am extremely grateful to have someone with Beth’s professionalism, kindness and expertise to guide me as I go through my cancer journey. I feel blessed to have her support!
I have been a client of Beth's for 9 years. She is an excellent physiotherapist, personable, professional and compassionate. I have been cancer free for all of these years but have had some short term and long term physical challenges that Beth has helped me beat. I am physically better than I have ever been thanks in large to Beth's treatments and advice. Her guidelines with respect to exercise has been invaluable. She has customized my exercises and treatments specifically to meet my condition.

I've been to several Physiotherapists for a knee issue. Beth has been the most helpful and the most informative of them all. She has the "Hands" that really are toon with a persons muscles, joints, bones, etc. Finally, she is easy to talk to, has a great plan of action that I am comfortable with and she is simply a very kind person. You can take any measure of Beth Hoag and not find her wanting; highly competent and very dedicated come to mind when I think of her.
I have the typical aches of a 60 year old but last year I was in an inordinate amount of pain. I was hardly able to lift an arm without it really hurting. I had 3 sessions for this with Beth, but honestly I was 90 percent better after the first one. Every trip had more improvement. I’m not the kind of guy who religiously follows the recommended exercises but Beth gave me some basic stretches and whenever I feel a twinge I break them out. Highly recommend Beth.
I have known Beth and have been treated by her for over six years, her skill set is amazing, she has treated me for the prevention of lymphedema with outstanding success. I also have her treat any other ailment that bothers me including back pain and wrist and thumb issues. She is by far the most knowledgeable physiotherapist I have been treated by and I highly recommend Beth to anyone dealing post cancer ailments or sports injuries
I have been Beth's patient for last 8 years. She is a godsend to me. She is extremely knowledgeable. She really cares for her patients. Although she is very busy, she ensures me that she is always available if I need any treatment in emergency. Without Beth's help I wouldn't be where I am right now.
I have been a client for 10 years and have received thoughtful, empathetic and professional care from a remarkable physio. She was a significant member of my cancer recovery team and now treats my lymphedema and unrelated joint and muscle problems. I would not hesitate to recommend Beth Hoag.
Beth has helped me greatly with numerous areas of fascial restrictions and pain. Through her fascial techniques and targeted exercises, I have become 90% painfree and far more functional in daily life and sports activities. She is a great listener, observer, and compassionate clinician.
Beth is absolutely incredible. Her advice has been instrumental in helping me negotiate the post-surgery process. She is very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to break down information in a digestible and useful way for her patients. Would highly recommend her services.
Beth has been my physiotherapist for more than five years. She is skilled and knowledgeable about pelvic health and general body issues. She always makes me feel comfortable and well cared for. I can’t imagine going to another physiotherapist.
Beth is hands down the best Physio I've visited! I've visited around Osteoarthritis issues and sports injuries and every time she is very good at getting to the root of the problem and addressing it effectively.
Beth is second to none. She knows what she is doing and can diagnose the problem and address it with skill and expertise. Beth has a wonderful caring personality and makes you feel right at ease.
