EDITED: Went in with a friend on Saturday. I ordered a Caprese sandwich and Mint cucumber iced tea. My friend also ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and peach iced tea. First it took over 30 minutes for the drinks to come out, and then we waited another 30 minutes for our sandwiches. We had ordered to go. Before receiving our sandwiches someone came over to confirm which sandwich we had ordered. Needless to say by the time we got home was when we realized my sandwich was not the right one and ended up with the same one as my friend. The bread was good, but the rest was not worth the hour wait. As for my drink, it should have been a refreshing drink but unfortunately it was so sweet it also was not enjoyable. I know there are growing pains with any new business and so I will give it another try, but just know if you are in a rush depending on the day this may not be the place for you. However saying you are not a fast food restaurant still does not excuse why a sandwich is taking an hour to make. To answer the reply below we were there around 130pm on Saturday June 10th. I would however like to say that your response below really is not good. Apologize for the poor service a patron experienced don’t ask them to give you proof that it occurred. I don’t even care about the free drink or food. I provided feedback to help you improve for the future. I genuinely wanted to try again when I would hope some of the growing pains had been worked out, but with your response, I no longer have plans of returning even for a free drink, when in fact the it was my sandwich that was wrong.

Everything about this place is unbeatable. Given that I live nearby, I frequent this place, and I must say the atmosphere is unlike anything I have ever seen. Now, I typically don't pay much attention to the atmosphere of a building but this place has perfectioned the art of being against the grain with coffee shops. They must be neurologists or something because I felt extra special the moment I entered the building. On the topic of food, I rarely get anything aside from their beverages but they have such a wide menu with such exclusive items. Furthermore, the presentation is delectable, when I see them handing out food, it looks so perfect to the point where id feel bad for consuming it. Though despite me saying I've never tried their food, I have tried a few pastries and they were divine. I don't think I've had anything better in the department of pastries. Also given that its a small, local, family business, I highly recommend you visit for it is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition.

Beautiful cafe run by a lovely family. Such a gem in the heart of Orléans! So many menu options, both food and drink, hot or iced, tea and coffee. Reasonable prices, free wifi. The lovely vintage-style cafe is elegant with it's chandeliers and gold detailing and fine furniture, but still has a homey feeling with its rugs and cozy arrangements. Made me think of "visiting in the parlor". My Turkish latte was delicious, and the lemonade I tried tasted like it was made with real lemons. The flourless chocolate cake was rich and not too sugary. They have regular milk, as well as macadamian, and I believe also almond, soy, oat, and coconut beverage options. Some of their menu drink options I haven't seen before (e.g. red coffee, Turkish latte (different from Turkish coffee), and I've been to many a coffee shop.

Went to meet a friend here because all the other cafes were closed at the time and was pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the interior is clean, cozy, and very aesthetically pleasing. Owners definitely put a lot of work to make the place look good. The staff were also very welcoming and had our orders hand delivered to our table. The coffee itself was alright. I'm not a big coffee drinker so I don't think I can comment too much on that. But overall, the place definitely exceeded my expectations and will keep it in mind for future coffee excapades

This vintage cozy cafe is a wonderful addition to the Orleans community! We often stop in here for coffee and a pastry, but their healthy breakfast and lunch options are a must try also. My husband indulged on this chocolate brownie milkshake today. While I enjoyed my afternoon latte. It's busy and therefore be a little wait, but it's worth it. Service is quick as possible for a bustling little Cafe. And the washroom is always impeccable. We love what you've done here. Bravo!!!

I recently held a LYLTea book reading event at Beyond Café and I could not be happier with the excellent service and delicious food served in a beautiful High-Tea style buffet. They even had gluten-free options available. We were 25 people and everyone of us was blown away by the whole experience provided by the wonderful family who own it. They worked so well as a team, and created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. They put their heart into it and it showed. Everything went smoothly and everyone got plenty of food and hot beverages. We look forward to returning for other events in the New Year. I highly recommended Beyond Café for events!

Had a very lovely, and delicious high tea at Beyond Café! There was a wonderful variety (incl. finger sandwiches, cakes, and cookies) including a scrumptious savory cucumber sandwich with a croissant for the bread. The tea was served in a very lovely pot, with the traditional tea cups. My partner and I left very satisfied, and we had to take home some of the extras which we could not finish. This is definitely a filling high tea, and it's very nice to be able to have this experience without going to Chateau Laurier, or shelling out a fortune. I would highly recommend trying it, it made for a romantic date. Definitely worth getting dressed up for. ^_^

My family and I had a delightful experience at 'Beyond' cafe today. I couldn't resist trying their Banana Crepe, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, and I can't wait to explore more of their menu, especially those inspired by Persian cuisine. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made my visit even better. Overall, cute spot. However, service was incredibly slow. We waited forever until we received our simple coffee orders. Easily a 20 mins wait. We first got out desserts, then coffee and finally our smoked salmon. We didn’t want to pick at the dessert first, but we were so hungry that we did and by the time our smoked salmon arrived. We just didn’t care for it. My coffee tasted burnt and watered down. Smoked salmon was good. It was quite expensive. A very simple yet tiny éclair for $6. We had this cake slice, overly sweet and dry.

I really enjoyed coming here and I always love entrepreneurs taking a chance on their dreams. I didn’t get to try their food but the in house food looked amazing. I saw the crepes and what looked like eggs Benedict and I lost my mind because it looked amazing. I’ll be making sure to take my Orléans clients to this spot for coffee and the atmosphere. In an effort to help out local businesses since the pandemic, I wanted to try this café. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered an iced americano and the taste was off. Not sure if it was just too strong but I order it regularly at coffee shops and for the first time, I actually felt like returning it! For me personally, the coffee alone didn't do it for me so will not be going back for that reason. A dark and dingy setting is also not my preference. All that said, the server was pleasant.

I came here on a Friday around noon and the place was fully packed! Parking is easy because it is in a plaza, and the staff at the front were kind. But the place itself is very loud, the way I guess it’s layed out. The decor is more antique style. I ordered a special beyond latte and a small orange loaf, it was decent nothing special. I saw many appetizing plates for lunch or crepes coming out. Maybe worth trying their food next time

Exactly the quiet, nice, and quality cafe that Orleans needed. The staff are kind and the coffee varieties are fun and tasty. Just had High Tea at Beyond Cafe. Absolutely excellent! My wife and I have been to Chateau Laurier AND Chateau Frontenac for both of their high yea. While both are also excellent, Beyond Cafe's food was IMO much better and way more filling. We will be going back soon for our wedding anniversary. We also took home some cake for a late night snack. While the interior design, food, and service are all great, I'm giving a slightly lower rating during to the interior layout. First time at Beyond Cafe this evening. It was great seeing some familiar faces. The owners are absolutely amazing and very friendly. My friend and I got our drinks right away. I had a double espresso and then later, one of the Persian specialty drinks. Quality was truly excellent! The espresso was one of the best I've had in recent memory. Service was very friendly and charming. Prices were reasonable. Comfortable place to sit for a couple hours to work. Great vibe with friends chatting over coffee. Interesting looking food selection, but I wasn't hungry when I went unfortunately.

Great coffee shop with different seating styles, so if you'd prefer a couch or a high table over standard seating then this coffee shop will suit you. Staff is very welcoming and always seems to have a contagious positive attitude, great experience and highly recommended!

Found this place recommended on tiktok. Right in Orleans! Has the best ambience out of any coffee shop I have seen in the Ottawa Area. They even have gluten-free, and vegan options as well.

Excellent customer service. Very cute place for a coffee. I had their Turkish latte, it was delicious! The Turkish coffee they used to make it gave it a very pleasantly delicious taste.

We tried Beyond Café for the 1st time today. The coffee was absolutely delicious and the assortment of pastries were mouth watering. We were greated by Hasti who welcomed us warmly and made the experience a very enjoyable one! More
